Where They Start Matters

At The Goddard School of Summerville, we believe that the start of your child's journey matters. Spring is here and we are excited about the opportunities the warm weather brings. We have an exciting summer program starting with more outdoor adventures, activities, and special visitors that can take the fund outdoors. Interest in our school has been strong and are classes are close to full. We encourage you to call or stop by our school for a tour. We offer tours daily from 9 to 11:30 and from 3 to 5PM or please call us at 843-585-0110.

Meet Tegan Owner

Tegan joined Mr. Bill and Ms. Amy at their Dobys Bridge school in April of 2021. Prior to starting at the Goddard school, she earned her degree in International Business with a minor in Global Logistics from the College of Charleston which led her to work in the Transportation industry post grad. She decided to leave the Logistics world behind and joined the Goddard School of Dobys Bridge as a Floater. She eventually moved to lead Junior Kindergarten teacher followed by another move to Director. She has worked as an Operations Director, as well as Education Director, where she brought a level of passion when it comes to building our curriculum and supporting Kindergarten Readiness! With her teaching and director backgrounds to guide her, Tegan has now stepped into the Owner role here at The Goddard School of Summerville. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog, Muffin, for walks with her husband Jack.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.
