Where They Start Matters
At The Goddard School of Simpsonville (Five Forks), we believe that the start of your child's journey matters. Our school offers an NAEYC Accredited program with flexible scheduling, individualized curriculum and assessments, and exciting enrichment programs like LEGO Robotics. Meet Bill and Melanie Owners
Bill and Melanie are the owners of The Goddard School of Simpsonville, The Goddard School of Greenville, and The Goddard School of Greenville at Pelham Road. Bill and Melanie have three wonderful children named Miller, Alexander, and Parker. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master of Arts in Marketing Education and also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students at different levels (preschool, elementary, high school, college) and combines her love of giving back with her experience of high standards in education. Also an alumni of the University of South Carolina, Bill holds a Retail Management Degree and has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where your children have fun while learning.

Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Twos
2 - 3 yrs
In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.
Bridge
2.5 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs
As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
Our 3-year-old is in the Junior Preschool program, and we have been consistently impressed by the care, structure, and intentionality that goes into every part of the day. The teachers are not only incredibly nurturing, but also skilled at fostering independence, confidence, and curiosity in these little ones. Our child comes home excited to talk about what they learned, show off new songs or art projects, and tell stories about their friends and teachers.
Our third child is going through Goddard at Five forks. The owners of this Goddard have implemented an incredible culture. The Director is very engaged in every stakeholder of the school, from the teachers to the assistants to the students. The curriculum is engaging and challenging, and our kids are thriving. When our oldest finished pre-k and transitioned to public school kindergarten, she genuinely missed Goddard. I wish our Goddard was bigger so more kids could take advantage of it!
My family has been going to the Goddard School in Simpsonville since the opening. We have had nothing but excellent experiences. Not only do they have amazing teachers, but they have also fully prepared my nieces and boys for their education. Goddard is a safe and loving environment, and our family would not recommend anywhere else.

We have had nothing but a great experience at Goddard Simpsonville! The teachers and faculty always make us feel welcome and heard as parents of a toddler who are new to the world of daycare.
The teachers, administrators and owners at Goddard have become an extension of our family. They strive to create an environment focused on enrichment, inclusivness and kindness. Our girls have flourished under their guidence and Goddard has provided a foundation for academic and personal success as they enter elementary school.
The teachers at Goddard are extremely caring, and patient with each child. We love that all ages follow a curriculum, even the babies. I know when we send our child to school that she is learning, being very well cared for, & being shown a lot of love.
Bill and Melanie and the entire staff genuinely care fo our child and not only that she is receiving an education but also love and support. Our daughter loves school and looks forward to going everyday! I can’t imagine having her any where else.
