Our Goddard School Teachers

Alpa and Dipen Patel are the owners of The Goddard School Fort Mill SC (Doby's Bridge) . Alpa has Bachelors degree in Health Care and more than 10 years experience in the field. Dipen has Masters degree in Industrial and System engineering from University of Florida and 16 years of experience working in Financial Industry holding various management positions. Both Alpa and Dipen have Childcare administration credential and experience managing and running successful Goddard School in Charlotte region. Raising two boys who attended the Goddard School, they learned about program and felt immediate connection to the Goddard philosophy of fostering the love of learning while providing a safe, nurturing environment for children. Their goal is to continue making families' Goddard experience exceptional by providing nurturing and stimulating environment for their children to become confident learners as they grow and develop.

Ms. Ashley joined the Dobys Bridge Team in August of 2023 after moving cross country from Texas where she was the Director of Operations for another Goddard School. Before Texas, she began her career with Goddard as a Toddler teacher in New Hampshire. Ms. Ashley discovered her love for early learning through babysitting and caretaking for her younger cousins, family members, and friends. In May of 2020, she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development from Adrian College. Ms. Ashley & her husband, Tyler, hope to be the owners of a childcare/school one day. Ms. Ashley’s favorite children’s author is Eric Carle and she loves showing his illustrations for her toddlers to see!

Joined The Goddard Family in 2020. Ms. Kylie earned her BA in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Family Services and Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University. Kylie has worked in childcare for over ten years and has a strong passion for Early Childhood Education and learning! Before coming to Fort Mill, Kylie taught Toddlers at a Goddard School in New Jersey and has dreamt of being a Goddard School director. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband Nick and her daughter Kennedy, spend time with her family, go out with friends, enjoy the sunshine, and drink Starbucks coffee!

Ms. Kelly joined our school with her daughter in 2023. Ms. Kelly graduated with her BS in Birth through Kindergarten and has been in early education since 2012. Over the years she has had experience as an assistant, lead teacher and director.

Ms. Katie joined the Goddard Family in 2023. Ms. Katie earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University. She taught 4th grade in northern Virginia for 8 years. Ms. Katie loves watching young minds grow, explore, and learn from the world around them. When she isn’t teaching, you can find Ms. Katie trying to keep up with her two little ones, Liam and Harper Rose.

Ms. Rebeca joined the Goddard family in 2024. Rebeca was born and raised in Brazil. She came to the United States in 2016 to learn more about children and become the best teacher she could be. Rebeca has been working in early childhood education for 7 years. On her free time she loves spending time with her family, exploring new places, and learning about new cultures.

Ms. Kansas is from Spartanburg, SC, and has worked in childcare for over two years, spending most of her time in the infant room, a place that truly fills her heart with joy. She has a deep love for babies and feels so lucky to help them learn, grow, and reach new milestones each day. Ms. Kansas is excited to be part of the Goddard family and looks forward to making a positive impact on the children in her care.

Ms. Rachel graduated high school in 2010 and became a nanny. After many years she decided child care was her passion. With the encouragement from her husband, she ventured into early education in 2022 at another facility in South Carolina as an Infant teacher. Ms. Rachel's goal is to become an elementary school teacher after finishing her degree. She is married and has a wonderful daughter, enjoys cooking, and drawing.

Hello, my name is Christina McHam. I am originally from Ohio. I received my BFA from Winthrop University. I have 5+ years of experience working with young children ranging from infant to 2 years. I love early childhood education and being able to watch the children grow into their personalities. I have been apart of the Goddard Family since 2016, and look forward to many more years working with your children.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2022. Ms Alyssa holds an ECE credential with a focus on Creativity and Art for Young Learners. She moved here from Connecticut with her husband, son and baby on the way. Before coming to Goddard, Alyssa taught at Bright Horizons for 5 years in a blended class of children aged 18 months to 3 years. Alyssa can make pretty cool balloon animals too, including a butterfly, dog and crown. When she isn't teaching, Alyssa enjoys getting creative using her Cri-cut machine.

Joined the Goddard family in 2023. Karen was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and moved to Charlotte in 2015. She graduated from the University of San Martin de Porras with a Bachelor's degree in Law. During her free time she likes to visit local attractions with her son, Sebastian, and her puppy Chase. She also enjoys traveling with her husband Ivan.

Ms. Mareshan joined the Doby's Bridge Goddard family in 2024, previously working as a toddler teacher at another Goddard School since 2023. She was born and raised in South Africa and came to the United States as an Au Pair. She has worked with young children for almost ten years. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and hiking with her boyfriend.

Ms. Chloe joined the Goddard family in 2024. She graduated from the University of South Carolina. Ms. Chloe has worked with children of all ages and loves to make a difference in each child's life. In her free time she enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Briannah joined the Goddard family in 2024. She quickly learned her love for children and early childhood education. She has worked as an infant/toddler teacher and also has attended the Lake Wylie School of Dental Assisting. In her free time she enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with her boyfriend.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2022. Ms Savannah earned her degree in Music Education from North Greenville University. She taught Music at Chester Park Elementary School for 4 years. When she isn't at Goddard, she stays busy with her husband and two sons!

Ms. Faith joined us in 2022. Before coming to Goddard, Faith was a Preschool and Toddler teacher at a licensed childcare center in South Carolina. Before that, she attended The Arts of Academy College in California. But her heart was in ECE, so back to the Carolinas she came. Faith will start classes at York Tech to earn her Associate degree in ECE in 2023. Faith says, "When my kids grow, I grow." So true! When she isn't teaching, Ms. Faith enjoys exercising and scrapbooking.

Joined The Goddard family in 2022. Ms. Jessica holds an Associate degree in Social Science with a focus in Speech Pathology. She holds a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science. Before coming to Goddard, Jessica was a Speech Therapy Assistant, providing in-home care for her young clients. Jessica went to a high school for the performing arts and still enjoys hip-hop, ballet and jazz dancing. She also enjoys reading fictional drama.

Ms. Christian has over five years of experience working with children ages 2 to 5. She found her passion for early childhood education through babysitting for family and friends. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education at York Technical College and plans to pursue a Master’s in Elementary Education. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading, watching crime shows, and spending time with loved ones.

Ms. Tayller joined The Goddard Family in 2021. Ms. Tayller earned her Bachelor Degree in English and Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Alabama. She has been an early childhood educator since 2014. Ms. Tayller is a bookworm so on the weekends she can be found browsing the shelves at the local library or the nearest bookstore!

Ms. Katherine joined the Goddard family in 2025. She earned her Associates of Arts degree from Central Piedmont Community College and plans to further her education with the goal of teaching Art in the elementary school level. In her free time she enjoys crocheting, water color painting, and baking. She brings energy and imagination to the classroom and loves the inspiring students through the arts!

Ms. Emily joined the Goddard family in 2024. She graduated from Cape Fear Community College. She worked in both childcare centers and charter schools for 7 years in Wilmington, NC before moving to the Charlotte area. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Ms. Jordyn joined the Goddard family in 2024. She earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina A & T State University. During her time in undergrad she worked with infants as an intern, spent summer camp as a counselor, and coached a high school dance team. She enjoys dancing, listening to music, and coloring.

Ms. Raymirea is originally from the local area and has been working in childcare for over eight years. She has always been drawn to working with children and says there is something so special about helping shape young minds and watching their personalities bloom. Outside of work, she’s a proud dog mom of two who always keeps her on her toes!

Ms. Irene was born and raised in Fort Mill, where her love for being around children first began back in high school. She hopes to encourage young minds to dream big and always believe in themselves. Ms. Irene looks forward to being a positive influence and creating meaningful connections with the children she works with. In her free time, she enjoys watching FC Charlotte soccer games and spending the day shopping.
