Alpa and Dipen Patel are the owners of The Goddard School Fort Mill SC (Doby's Bridge) . Alpa has Bachelors degree in Health Care and more than 10 years experience in the field. Dipen has Masters degree in Industrial and System engineering from University of Florida and 16 years of experience working in Financial Industry holding various management positions. Both Alpa and Dipen have Childcare administration credential and experience managing and running successful Goddard School in Charlotte region. Raising two boys who attended the Goddard School, they learned about program and felt immediate connection to the Goddard philosophy of fostering the love of learning while providing a safe, nurturing environment for children. Their goal is to continue making families' Goddard experience exceptional by providing nurturing and stimulating environment for their children to become confident learners as they grow and develop.

Ms. Ashley joined the Dobys Bridge Team in August of 2023 after moving cross country from Texas where she was the Director of Operations for another Goddard School. Before Texas, she began her career with Goddard as a Toddler teacher in New Hampshire. Ms. Ashley discovered her love for early learning through babysitting and caretaking for her younger cousins, family members, and friends. In May of 2020, she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development from Adrian College. Ms. Ashley & her husband, Tyler, hope to be the owners of a childcare/school one day. Ms. Ashley’s favorite children’s author is Eric Carle and she loves showing his illustrations for her toddlers to see! We are excited to see all of the things Ms. Ashley will do in our school and we are grateful for her to be on our team!

Joined The Goddard Family in 2020. Ms. Kylie earned her BA in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Family Services and Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University. Kylie has worked in childcare for over eight years and has a strong passion for Early Childhood Education and learning! Before coming to Fort Mill, Kylie taught Toddlers at a Goddard School in New Jersey and has dreamt of being a Goddard School director. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband Nick, spend time with her family, go out with friends, enjoy the sunshine, and drink Starbucks coffee!

Joined The Goddard Family in 2020. Ms. Kim is from the Boston Massachusetts area and moved to South Carolina with her family in 2018. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelors degree in Psychology and Elementary Education certificate. She has worked with children for over 25 years. Kim has worked as a teacher, assistant Director and a Director for a Goddard School in Massachusetts. During her free time she enjoys watching her daughter Julia perform at dance competitions and visit her son Jacob who is a student at USC in Columbia.

Ms. Faith joined us in 2022. Before coming to Goddard, Faith was a Preschool and Toddler teacher at a licensed childcare center in South Carolina. Before that, she attended The Arts of Academy College in California. But her heart was in ECE, so back to the Carolinas she came. Faith will start classes at York Tech to earn her Associate degree in ECE in 2023. Faith says, "When my kids grow, I grow." So true! When she isn't teaching, Ms. Faith enjoys exercising and scrapbooking.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2022. Ms Alyssa holds an ECE credential with a focus on Creativity and Art for Young Learners. She moved here from Connecticut with her husband, son and baby on the way. Before coming to Goddard, Alyssa taught at Bright Horizons for 5 years in a blended class of children aged 18 months to 3 years. Alyssa can make pretty cool balloon animals too, including a butterfly, dog and crown. When she isn't teaching, Alyssa enjoys getting creative using her Cri-cut machine.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2021. "Ms. J" earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from York Tech and has been working with the very youngest learners for approximately 4 years. Although Ms. J is an excellent Infant teacher, she has experience with all preschool-age children. Ms. J strongly believes that a strong early education can have a positive impact on a person's entire life.

Joined the Goddard family in 2023. Karen was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and moved to Charlotte in 2015. She graduated from the University of San Martin de Porras with a Bachelor's degree in Law. During her free time she likes to visit local attractions with her son, Sebastian, and her puppy Chase. She also enjoys traveling with her husband Ivan.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2019. Ms. Bethanie earned her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stevenson University. She grew up in Mount Airy, Maryland, where she worked as a Goddard School resource teacher during college. She has volunteered in Haiti, and has a wide range of experience working with young learners up to age 8 years. Bethanie and her husband, Tanner have lived in the Charlotte area since 2019.

Ms. Rachel graduated high school and in 2010 started nannying. After many years she decided child care was her passion. With the encouragement from her husband, ventured into early education in 2022 at another facility in South Carolina as an infant teacher. Ms. Rachel's goal is to become an elementary teacher after finishing her degree. She is married and has a wonderful daughter, enjoys cooking, and drawing.

Ms. Stephanie joined The Goddard Family in 2020. She earned her Associate's degree ECE at York Tech after graduating high school. Before coming to Goddard, Stephanie spent 3 years teaching 2 and 3 year olds at a licensed childcare center in Fort Mill. When she isn’t teaching, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and her new baby boy!

Joined The Goddard family in 2022. Ms. Jessica holds an Associate degree in Social Science with a focus in Speech Pathology. She holds a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science. Before coming to Goddard, Jessica was a Speech Therapy Assistant, providing in-home care for her young clients. Jessica went to a high school for the performing arts and still enjoys hip-hop, ballet and jazz dancing. She also enjoys reading fictional drama.

Joined The Goddard family in 2022. Ms. April is currently working toward a BA in Psychology with a focus in Child and Adolescent Development. She taught Preschoolers in a licensed center for 2 years before joining her family in their commercial cleaning business. Lucky for us, she really missed teaching young learners, so she's back in ECE! When April isn't teaching she loves spending time with her husband and 3 school-aged children. She also loves making jewelry and other crafts.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2022. Ms Savannah earned her degree in Music Education from North Greenville University. She taught Music at Chester Park Elementary School for 4 years. When she isn't at Goddard, she stays busy with her husband and beautiful newborn! Welcome to the world, Little One!

Ms. Tayller joined The Goddard Family in 2021. Ms. Tayller earned her Bachelor Degree in English and Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Alabama. She has been an early childhood educator since 2014. Ms. Tayller is a bookworm so on the weekends she can be found browsing the shelves at the local library or the nearest bookstore!

Ms. Haylee joined the Goddard family in 2023 after graduating from Winthrop University in May. She received her degree in Education Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood. She previously worked with kindergarten and preschool age children. In her free time she enjoys reading and watching movies.

Joined The Goddard Family in 2020. Ms. Judith spent most of her life in Wilmington, Delaware. She moved to Chester, SC in 1995. Judith has worked in early childhood education for the past forty years. Judith loves animals, studying science, nature, history, listening to music and singing.

Ms. Hannah joined the Goddard family in 2022. Ms. Hannah is currently a junior at Winthrop University where she majors in Elementary Education. After graduation, she plans to continue her education by going to graduate school and also work in the elementary or early childhood setting. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends!

Ms. Toni joined the Goddard Family in 2023. Ms. Toni has spent most of her life caring for young children in her family. In 2021, she began working on her degree in Science education and plans to teach Secondary Biology when she graduates. Ms. Toni worked as an assistant teacher in an elementary school classroom. Outside of work, Ms. Toni enjoys painting, gardening, and exploring new places with her fiancé.

Ms. Liz joined the Goddard family in 2023. She found her passion for teaching after completing student teaching in a Kindergarten class in 2006. She has taught enrichment classes such as baking, soccer, art and science. She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and relaxing at home with her cat.

Ms. Celia holds an Associate of Arts degree from York Technical College. She is currently a junior at Winthrop University where she is majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. When she graduates she hopes to work in a school as a teacher while she works to obtain her masters degree in school counseling. She loves going for walks at the park with her dog and hiking at the mountains.

Ms. Gianna joined the Goddard family in 2024. After graduating from Charlotte Engineering Early College in 2019, she worked in the technology field before discovering her passion for working with children. She believes in creating engaging inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive. On her free time she loves hiking and traveling with her husband.

Ms. Katie joined the Goddard Family in 2023. Ms. Katie earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University. She taught 4th grade in northern Virginia for 8 years. Ms. Katie loves watching young minds grow, explore, and learn from the world around them. When she isn’t teaching, you can find Ms. Katie trying to keep up with her two little ones, Liam and Harper Rose.

Ms. Kelly joined our school with her daughter in 2023. Ms. Kelly graduated with her BS in Birth through Kindergarten and has been in early education since 2012. Over the years she has had experience as an assistant, lead teacher and director.

Ms Ashanti joined the Goddard Family in 2024. She is the mother of two beautiful children that attend the Goddard school. "I cherish moments spent exploring nature on walks, getting creative with crafts, and whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen." She is passionate about fostering a love for learning in her students, and bring joy and enthusiasm everyday!

Ms. Leslie joined the Goddard family in 2024. Leslie was born and raised in Long Island, New York. Leslie has been working in early childhood education for 9 years. During her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and their golden doodle, reading books and going on bike rides.

Ms. Rebeca joined the Goddard family in 2024. Rebeca was born and raised in Brazil. She came to the United States in 2016 to learn more about children and become the best teacher she could be. Rebeca has been working in early childhood education for 7 years. On her free time she loves spending time with her family, exploring new places, and learning about new cultures.
