Meet Tricia Owner
MANAGEMENT TEAM-
Trish McKay became involved with The Goddard School® in 1996 when Trish became the one year old teacher. She came with a passion for young children along with a BS in Home Economics Education and her PA teaching certification. As her passion for the quality education of young children grew so did her role in the School. In 1999, Trish became the Director of the facility. As her two girls were born, her passion for young children and providing a School of excellence grew stronger. She purchased this School in 2005 when the previous owner retired. Since becoming the owner of the School she has poured her passion into creating a remarkable, educational, safe and healthy learning environment for her students and staff.

Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Twos
2 - 3 yrs
In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.
Bridge
2.5 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs
As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
Our kids love going to daycare. Always excited to head out the door every morning. Goddard does a great job with keep us informed of activities, schedules, and feedback via app and email alerts. They have a great program that keeps the kids entertained while learning. I always feel they are safe there as well. I went there as a kids myself. Enjoyed my time there and now my kids go there. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
The Goddard staff really cares about my children and they are learning so much.
We like everything… the administration has been kind, welcoming, and diligent. The teachers are lovely, energetic, and sweet. It’s clear how much our toddler’s vocabulary has increased tenfold since she’s been there. She’s so happy to go to school. It’s tough as a parent to feel “good” about someone else watching your child but we truly feel that way at Goddard.
The staff is respectful of our opinions/concerns. They are great with the kids. Turn over is low for teachers.
I love the structured curriculum Goddard offers to kids that incorporates learning, exploring and playing. I personally love reading summarized daily reports onTadpole.
This school has been very good to our son, and the staff works very hard to see that kids get the most out of their days!
My son knows more than a normal 3 year old and I know that’s because of the work the classes do with them. It’s so worth it!!
Our Goddard school is consistently clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

KEYSTONE STARS
STAR 4
Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS program is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs. The Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for the program and are grouped into four levels – Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources and Support. Each level builds on the previous level and utilizes research-based best practices to promote quality early learning environments and positive child outcomes.

CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE FOR EDUCATION
The Circle of Excellence Award for Education acknowledges Goddard Schools that provide the highest-quality and most consistent educational programs in every classroom. To be considered for the award, each School must earn one of the top two ratings of its state’s licensing program, become accredited by at least one of the four primary accreditors or achieve P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Learning) Exemplar status. Schools that earn this award represent some of the top education programs in our system.
