Meet Tricia Owner
MANAGEMENT TEAM-
Dave and Tricia McKay joined The Goddard School community in 1996, when Ms. Trish became the one-year-old teacher. Today, Mr. Dave and Ms. Trish are the franchisees of our school. Ms. Trish brought a passion for early childhood education, a B.S. in Home Economics Education, and her Pennsylvania teaching certification, and she now has over thirty-five years of experience with young children. As their dedication to high-quality early education grew, Ms. Trish became director in 1999, and Mr. Dave took on maintenance and facility operations to support a safe, welcoming environment. As their daughters, Lauren and Leah, were born, their commitment to creating a school of excellence deepened. In 2005, they purchased the school and have since poured their hearts into building a safe, healthy, joyful learning environment for all Goddard students and faculty.

Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Twos
2 - 3 yrs
In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.
Bridge
2.5 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs
As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
I cannot say enough good things about the Goddard Wyomissing school, it’s teachers, office staff and helpers. My children have learned so much in their short time there, continue to learn to be kind (and why you should be), and the staff have helped us move forward potty training. I love the constant communication from administration and their timely feedback to my own requests and questions. I would never tell anyone to go anywhere else! Thank you for loving my babes like we do.
I would definitely recommend The Goddard School of Wyomissing to any friend or family member! The teachers are absolutely wonderful—caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. The classrooms and facilities are always spotless and well-maintained, creating a safe and welcoming environment. All of the staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make both children and parents feel comfortable and supported. We couldn’t be happier with our experience here!
Our kids love going to daycare. Always excited to head out the door every morning. Goddard does a great job with keep us informed of activities, schedules, and feedback via app and email alerts. They have a great program that keeps the kids entertained while learning. I always feel they are safe there as well. I went there as a kids myself. Enjoyed my time there and now my kids go there. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
The Goddard staff really cares about my children and they are learning so much.
We like everything… the administration has been kind, welcoming, and diligent. The teachers are lovely, energetic, and sweet. It’s clear how much our toddler’s vocabulary has increased tenfold since she’s been there. She’s so happy to go to school. It’s tough as a parent to feel “good” about someone else watching your child but we truly feel that way at Goddard.
The staff is respectful of our opinions/concerns. They are great with the kids. Turn over is low for teachers.
I love the structured curriculum Goddard offers to kids that incorporates learning, exploring and playing. I personally love reading summarized daily reports onTadpole.

KEYSTONE STARS
STAR 4
Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS program is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs. The Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for the program and are grouped into four levels – Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources and Support. Each level builds on the previous level and utilizes research-based best practices to promote quality early learning environments and positive child outcomes.

CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE FOR EDUCATION
The Circle of Excellence Award for Education acknowledges Goddard Schools that provide the highest-quality and most consistent educational programs in every classroom. To be considered for the award, each School must earn one of the top two ratings of its state’s licensing program, become accredited by at least one of the four primary accreditors or achieve P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Learning) Exemplar status.
