Our Goddard School Teachers

Miss Jen is proud to be the on-site Owner of the Goddard School in West Goshen since May 2001! She graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and really enjoys working in the early childhood field. It was always a passion of hers to care for children while maintaining the best quality of health, safety and curriculum. Today her Goddard philosophy as well as her Keystone Four-Star & NAEYC Accreditations help to ensure her students at the West Goshen Goddard are receiving the best experience! She and her husband, along with their three daughters, are living their dream of caring for children while ensuring their exceptional developmental growth!

This is Brittany and she is the Executive Director. She is a 2010 graduate of West Chester University where she majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Math. Brittany also completed her Director Credential certificate in August 2021 and was previously the Pre-K teacher, here at Goddard since January 2011. In her free time, she enjoys spending it with her son playing outside and going on hikes.

This is Layanna and she is our Education Director. She is a recent graduate from California University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in professional studies of education with a minor in business administration. Layanna is currently pursuing her master’s in education with a concentration of PreK to grade 4 certifications. She has experience working with children through field experiences, babysitting and working as the Youth Director for her church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends. She was Nominated in 2021 and 2022 Eastern Region Teacher of The Year.

Miss Melissa has a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and is currently working on getting her CDA for infants and toddlers at Keystone College. She started working in childcare in August of 2020. Miss Melissa has been with Goddard since June of 2024. She has three daughters of her own who all attend Goddard. Miss. Melissa’s favorite children’s book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and favorite children’s song is “Five Little Ducks”. In her free time she enjoys baking, coloring, and watching movies.

This is Sabina and she is one of our awesome teachers in our infant classroom. She has a degree in History from her studies in Bangladesh. She has experience working with young child while she worked with in the infant room of different child care centers for the past few years. In her spare time, she loves to listen to music, spend time with her daughter, and read books. She is so excited to meet the wonderful families here at the West Goshen Goddard School.

Hello! I’m Raquel. I have been working on and off with children since I began the Little Knights program at my high school. I Started working at Goddard in Fall of 2023 part time and accepted a full time position in January of 2025.  I am pursuing a degree in psychology, which I hope to use for therapy with young children.  In my free time I love to draw and hang out with my friends . My favorite children's book is "Moomin", and my favorite children's song includes the entire "My Little Pony" soundtrack.

Hi, my name is Fallon and I am a lead teacher in the Musical Seals classroom! I’ve taken numerous courses in Early Childhood Education and am currently working towards earning my CDA. I also have been babysitting since high school, which allows me to experience working with kids of all ages. My favorite children’s book is “Brown Bear, Brown Bear”. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to getting to know all of the Goddard families!

Hello! I am Colleen! I have earned my B.A. degree in Psychology from Neuman University. I have 4 years experience working at another child care facility with infants-5 year olds. I also worked as a a camp counselor and completed my Internship at Beyond Autism Services.Through all these great experiences, I have worked with children from the ages of 6 weeks to 17 years; which allowed myself to really expand my knowledge on the needs and development of different age groups. My hobbies include working out at the gym, reading, hanging out with friends, and painting. My favorite children's books are "Goodnight Moon" and "Love You Forever".

Miss Veronique is our Assistant Director and one of our extraordinary teachers in our pre-toddler classroom. She is a graduate from West Chester University where she majored in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology. She has experience working with young children while she was a nanny for the past 17 years. In 2021-2022, Veronique obtained her CDA-infant/toddlers as well as her Director Credential from Northampton Community College. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking and taking care of her plants. Hi! My name is Sushma and I hold a bachelor's degree in information technology. I have a strong passion for working with young children and creating a positive, nurturing environment where they feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and gardening—both bring me joy and help me stay balanced. I love sharing stories with children, and one of my favorite books is Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak because of its creativity and imagination. I also enjoy singing with children, especially the classic song “Wheels on the Bus,” which always brings smiles and energy to the classroom. I am dedicated to supporting children’s growth, encouraging curiosity, and helping them build confidence each day. I am excited to be apart of the Goddard Team!

Hi! I am a mama of 3 little kiddos and they are the biggest reason for my interest in Early Childhood Education. I also have experience working as an Au Pair in the US and working as a lead infant teacher in NEPA. I was born and raised in Brazil and have been living in the US for the past 8 years. I'm very happy and excited to be part of this team and look forward to getting to know all the Goddard Families!

Hello! My name is Ava, and I am so excited to be part of the team! I am a high school graduate with 5 years of experience working with children, and I also completed early child development classes that gave me a strong foundation in supporting children’s growth and learning. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my big family, hanging out with friends, reading, and crocheting. My favorite children's book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, and my favorite children’s song is Five Little Monkeys. I can’t wait to create new memories with you and your children!

Miss Kim is one of our excellent teachers in our Get Set classroom and she is thrilled to be working at the West Goshen Goddard School. She graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Health and Physical Education. She lives in Brookhaven with her husband Rich and their dogs Mazie and Truman. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and walking her dogs! She looks forward to meeting all of the wonderful families at West Goshen!

My name is Majreha and I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. I have been working in early childhood education since 2021, at other local childcare centers, where I gained valuable experience in fostering children's growth and development. My journey in education began even earlier, as I also worked as a Teacher at Merit Care School in Bangladesh, giving me a strong foundation in working with diverse learners. I hold a master’s and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, but my passion for teaching led me to the field of early childhood education. I love helping children explore the world around them, develop essential skills, and build confidence through play and structured learning experiences.

Hi! My name is DeeDee, and I’m so excited to start this school year with you and your little ones! I’m a mom to a sweet and energetic 2-year-old named Bryson. I’ve taught Pre-K through 5th grade and after taking some time off to be home with my son I’m so ready and to get back into the classroom. I love creating a fun and warm environment where kids can feel comfortable to learn and grow. In my free time I love to go to concerts, read a good book and make desserts. I can’t wait for a great year together!

Hi! My name is Suneetha, and I am a teacher in the Awesome Acrobats classroom! I hold a master's degree in computer applications and have 2 years of experience working with toddler and preschool children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending with my family, cooking and listening to music. My favorite children's books are Clifford the Big Red Dog and Curious George. My favorite classroom songs are "I spy with my little Eye" and Sleeping Bunnies." I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard Team!

Ashwini received her Diploma in Child Education and Applied Psychology from India. She previously taught English Virtually to students in India. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, watching comedy movies and drawing!

My name is Adrienne, and I am formerly from South New Jersey. I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a New Jersey Teaching Certification in 2020 from Rowan University. Shortly after, I moved to PA, and I transferred my certification. This is my fourth year as a teacher in the pre-k room. I am also excited to say this is my first year on the management team as the closing director. My hobbies are playing frisbee, going to the beach and I love to paint and draw!

Miss Melissa is one of our awesome Junior Kindergarten teachers. She is a 2012 graduate of Penn State University where she majored in Elementary Education. She has experience working with children as a summer camp counselor at Arrowhead and through her student teaching and field experiences. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach and shopping. *Nominated in 2016 for the CECCC Practitioner of the Year

Mr. Bret is one of our excellent Courageous Clown teachers! He has been here at Goddard for three years, but has been working with children since 2019. Mr. Bret graduated from West Chester University in 2024 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. During his time away, Mr. Bret loves to spend time with friends and family. Mr. Bret's favorite book to read in the classroom is “Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!” by Mo Willems. He is excited to prepare your children for Kindergarten!

Hi, I am Ruth and I am a sophomore student at West Chester University. I am currently pursuing my M.A in Speech Pathology and to work as an Early Intervention Speech Therapist. In my spare time I love to spend time with my nieces and nephews, listen to music, and cooking with my family. I look forward to making memories with all of the kids at The Goddard School.

Hi, my name is Chloe! I received my B.A in history from West Chester University. I am currently working towards my Pre-K-4 teaching certification also at West Chester University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My favorite children’s book is, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Numeroff.

Hi! My name is Roopa! I have my Master's degree in Computer Applications. I have experience working at another child care center with infants, toddlers and preschool age children. I also tutored science and math for 2 years in India. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, traveling and dancing! My favorite games to play with children are The floor is Lava and Freeze Dance. I am excited about the opportunity to work at The Goddard School and contribute to the growth and development of the children!

Hello! I am Laura. Miss Laura is one of our awesome Floating teachers. She is a 2004 graduate from Neumann University where she majored in Elementary Education and Early Childhood.  She has been a member of our Goddard Family since November 2006.  In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, her mom and 2 sisters and 2 brother in laws and  her 5 nephews and 1 niece.  Her favorite book to read to children is  Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type was written by Doreen Cronin She looks forward to getting to know all the children at West Goshen!
