Meet Ms. Jodi & Mr. Bill Owner
"We believe our school should provide the most hospitable, most enriching, and most welcoming haven for our children, their families, and our staff.” This is the mission statement specially crafted by “Ms. Jodi” & “Mr. Bill”, as they developed their plans to open The Goddard School of Bala Cynwyd. "Opening our school has been the adventure of a lifetime, and the most rewarding aspect is the community of children, staff, and families that has developed so organically. We believe in and strive for exemplary communication, academic excellence, and fostering the purest of environments," reports Mr. Bill. Ms. Jodi & Mr. Bill are parents to three 20-somethings, and they are celebrating 28 years of marriage. "Parenthood, itself, has provided the biggest preparation for our administrative and proprietorial responsibilities." When personal time permits, you will likely find Ms. Jodi on a golf course and find Mr. Bill behind a drum set. "Welcome, one and all, to our school!"

From infants and toddlers to pre-K, kindergarten and beyond, our classrooms are designed specifically with your little one’s needs in mind.
Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Bridge
2.5 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs
As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.
Kindergarten
5 - 6 yrs
Hands-on learning and a focus on social-emotional development in our Kindergarten classroom will prepare your child for success in first grade and beyond!

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
The Goddard School in Bala Cynwyd has been amazing. The owners are kind, approachable and they know every family that walks through their doors. After 4 years and 2 kids we really feel like one big Goddard family now with the teachers, staff and other families that attend.
I always feel safe with my child at the Goddard school. My son is far more advanced with knowledge he learns at Goddard, than other children his age. We love the daily pictures we get showing the things our son is doing and learning.
Amazing staff and amazing new facility. My 20 month old comes home telling me about new numbers and shapes he’s learned at Goddard. It’s incredible.
They provide a fun and educational learning experience for our son. They have lots of special events that include music, art, science, etc and provide detailed information throughout the day about how our child is doing. It has been a great experience.
The owners are outstanding and the curriculum is the best of the best.
Teachers are great. Administration is amazing. Facilities are beautiful. Timing is convenient. They all really care about the kids and the parents, and you can see that in everything they do.
Loved the staff- loved the facility and the communication. The staff was always so welcoming and it felt like family from day one. I will miss sending my little guy here

PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
The PA DOE considers the education of its children to be among the highest priorities of state government and has dedicated many resources toward that end. Educators who are PA DOE certified prepare for their responsibilities in the schools of the Commonwealth through the completion of a State Approved Teacher Education program (includes student teaching or field experience), The Pre Service Academic Performance Assessment (PAPA) in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, and completing application materials documenting that all certification requirements have been met.
KEYSTONE STARS
STAR 4
Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS program is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs. The Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for the program and are grouped into four levels – Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources and Support. Each level builds on the previous level and utilizes research-based best practices to promote quality early learning environments and positive child outcomes.
