Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Alexandra has her Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Central Florida and her MBA from Xavier University. She spent 10 years working as a design engineer within the Aviation industry and has been very involved in volunteer and professional associations locally. Ms. Alex has two children, Aria and Sienna.

Ms. Katie has her Bachelor's degree in Kindergarten Education and a Masters in Family Studies and Leadership from Miami University. Ms. Katie enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and reading!

Ms. Angela has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and she has 19 years of experience working in the childcare field. She is an integral part of providing training and maintaining our 5-star SUTQ accreditation. Ms. Angela has 2 children, an 8-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old girl. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing challenging puzzles.

Ms. Teresa is a National Goddard Teacher of the Year Award recipient! She was the Lead teacher in our Pre-K classroom from 2003 to 2019. Prior to working for Goddard, she was employed at the Butler County Head Start program for 7 years as a Preschool teacher and Case Worker.

Ms. Kim has 30 years of experience in the Childcare field. Ms. Kim has had several roles with various responsibilities from Assistant Teacher to Lead Teacher and Assistant director. Ms. Kim Enjoys spending time with the children and helping the community.

Ms. Haley graduated from Laurel Oaks Career Campus in 2019. She went to Laurel Oaks for early Childhood and worked with preschool aged children for 2 years. Since graduating, Ms. Haley has worked with both younger and older toddlers. In the future, Ms. Haley wants to become an elementary school teacher. Ms. Haley has 1 brother and 1 half-sister. in her free time, Ms. Haley enjoys crafting, fishing, spending time with her husband and son Tripp. Ms. Haley loves working with children because no two days are the same in her classroom and it is so exciting to see them grow and develop their own little personalities! She is so excited to be a part of the Goddard School staff!

Ms. Sierra was born in Knoxville, TN and has lived in Ohio for most of her life. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, and has been working with children of all ages since 2012. She has two dogs named Boo Bear and Apollo, and a cat named Tigger. Ms. Sierra loves to travel and has been to London and Paris on vacation-She hopes to travel to Ireland in the future! She loves music and her favorite singer is Harry Styles. In her free time, Ms. Sierra loves spending time with family and her daughter outdoors, camping, singing, Starbucks, going to concerts, and traveling.

Ms. Tina comes to Goddard with at least 10 years of experience working in childcare. In addition, Ms. Tina has a background in interior design from The University of Cincinnati and Raymond Walters Campus. She loves spending time with her 3-year-old granddaughter! In her free time, she loves creating art, inspirational writing and party planning. Ms. Tina is very family oriented, and loves working with children to spark their imagination and help their minds grow!

Ms. Taylor is currently attending school at Penn Foster University to obtain her degree in early education and her teaching license. Outside of work and school, Ms. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going shopping, being outdoors and babysitting. Ms. Taylor has 3 siblings and 2 younger nephews. She currently lives at home with her mom and their 2 dogs; Enzo and Daisy.

Ms. Jennifer is the Lead teacher in the toddler room, she has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Sinclair University. Ms. Jennifer has over 30 years experience working with young children. Ms. Jennifer joined The Goddard School in 2013. She enjoys traveling, reading, and staying active in her church.

Ms. Maleah is so excited to be a part of your child's learning experience. She comes to Goddard with over ten years of experience in the childcare field. She has a profound passion for working with infants! Witnessing their faces light up as they achieve new milestones is one of the most rewarding experiences. Ms. Maleah strives to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters growth and development where each child feels secure, seen, and loved as they embark on their educational journey. As a mother of five and a grandmother of three, Ms. Maleah cherishes spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys outdoor activities, music, singing, dancing and well as attending racing events and visiting the beach.

Ms. Teresa comes to Goddard with 15 years of experience working at a different Goddard Location. She started her Goddard experience at the Goddard in Centerville in 2007 and has been working with children all of ages! Ms. Teresa recently moved to the West Chester area and was so happy to hear that there was a Goddard School within 10 minutes of her new residence. Ms. Teresa graduated from Centerville High School in 2005. She currently lives with her boyfriend and his adorable cat, Little. In her free time, Ms. Teresa likes to watch movies, read, do puzzles, and browse antique malls. Ms. Teresa is so excited to get to know all our Goddard families, and she is looking forward to creating special moments with everyone!

Ms. Joy comes to Goddard with over thirty years of experience in the field of education. She has experience working with Pre-kindergarten and Elementary aged children in various schools. Ms. Joy has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from The University of Cincinnati along with her Pre-kindergarten - grade 3 Teaching License for the State of Ohio. She also has knowledge and course work in special education and with dual language learners. Ms. Joy became a teacher because she loves seeing the children’s excitement in learning new things. In her free time, Ms. Joy loves baking, sewing, reading and spending time with her family.

Ms. Nitza is a passionate and dedicated Preschool Spanish Teacher with over two decades of experience in the field. Born and raised in Bucaramanga, Columbia, Nitza has always had a love for language and education. She uses a variety of techniques to create an interactive Spanish environment and her goal is not only to teach her students the Spanish language, but also to expose them to the rich culture and traditions of Latin America's countries. Nitza will foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all students feel comfortable and valued. We welcome her to our teaching staff and are delighted to have her join our exceptional team of teachers!!

Ms. Gwyn brings nearly 10 years of experience as a preschool teacher to The Goddard School. During her years in the classroom, she discovered her passion for working with young children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 2006 and has dedicated her career to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners. Ms. Gwyn loves watching children develop their unique personalities and reach important milestones. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help guide and support the next generation as they grow and explore the world around them. In her free time, Ms. Gwyn enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, swimming, and spending time outdoors. She has been married for 15 years and is the proud mother of two sons, ages 15 and 21.

Ms. Amy is new to the field of early childhood education but is very passionate and excited about starting to work with young children and to watch them learn and grow. Ms. Amy has many years of experience volunteering at the Joe Nexhall Miracle League. In her volunteer work, she had the opportunity to work with both adults and children with disabilities and help them to learn and play baseball. She loves working with children because they are so honest and imaginative in their play. Choosing a career in early childhood education is so rewarding! In her free time, Ms. Amy likes to cook and bake. She also loves to attend sporting events like football and baseball. We are so excited to have Ms. Amy at our school!

Ms. Bekah is currently attending the University of Cincinnati, where she is pursuing a degree in Political Science with the goal of becoming a lawyer. She has experience caring for children through babysitting for family and friends, as well as helping care for her three nieces. Ms. Bekah enjoys working with children because of their kindness, positivity, and curiosity. She loves watching them learn, grow, and develop new skills every day. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and running.
