Our Goddard School Teachers

Dear Goddard Families and Community Members, We are so excited to welcome you to The Goddard School of Wadsworth! We are Sam and Bekki Rocco, the proud owners of the school, and we are honored to be part of this wonderful community. We have called Wadsworth home for the past eight years, and as parents ourselves, we are deeply invested in creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children and families. We are the proud parents of our twin 14-year-old boys, Jack and Dominic, who keep us busy and inspired every day. As a family, we love cheering on Cleveland sports—especially the Browns and Guardians—and you’ll often find us at sporting events supporting our boys. We enjoy watching Dominic compete in wrestling and cheering Jack on during cross-country meets. When we have downtime together, we love Marvel movies and the thrill of roller coasters. Our passion for early childhood education comes from our belief that the early years lay the foundation for life.

The Goddard School of Wadsworth is excited to welcome Brandy Scheetz as our new Preschool Director! Brandy holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Baldwin Wallace University and brings extensive experience in both early childhood and elementary education. Throughout her career, Brandy has served as both a classroom and preschool teacher in a variety of educational settings. She previously served as the Director of Medina Weekday Preschool, where she led program development, supported educators, and partnered closely with families to create high-quality early learning experiences. Brandy also played an integral role in opening Foundations Community Childcare, helping to build programming, establish operations, and create a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners. Ms. Brittney holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and has over 7 years of experience working as an Early Childhood Educator. She is proud to provide a safe environment for children to learn and grow. Seeing the children's faces light up with smiles as they discover new things about the world around them is the highlight of working in the early childhood setting for Ms. Brittney. She is looking forward to sharing her love of reading with the children and can't wait to grow as a teacher here at The Goddard School of Wadsworth.

Ms. Crystal received training in the field of Early Childhood Education through the Wayne County Career Center and has many years of experience as a Teacher's Assistant. Her favorite thing about shaping young minds is having the chance to witness children master new skills or understand new concepts. Ms. Crystal is looking forward to designing rich classroom experiences that promote curiosity and encourage children to engage meaningfully with the world around them.

Ms. Holly participated in an Early Childhood Education course of study during her time at trade school and is currently working toward her CDA in the Infant and Toddler space. With many years of experience as a Lead Teacher in both the Infant and Toddler rooms, Ms. Holly brings a wealth of knowledge to The Goddard School of Wadsworth. Building meaningful connections with children, witnessing "lightbulb moments," observing social growth and supporting each child are aspects of teaching she looks forward to each day. Ms. Holly is excited to create a play-based learning environment where the children in her care will thrive.

Ms. Izzy studied at Kent State University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. She found her love of working with children while running summer camps for many years and acting as a coach for a girls' wrestling team. Making sure that her students are prepared for kindergarten and providing them with a positive space to explore and grow is something that Ms. Izzy aims to achieve. She is looking forward to learning together with the children in her class and can't wait to have a positive impact on each student who attends The Goddard School of Wadsworth.

Ms. Sara has provided education and care for infants and toddlers for many years. Her favorite thing about working with young children is seeing what she is teaching come to life for the students in her classroom. She is looking forward to creating a classroom that is warm and inviting and to making connections with the children and their families.

Ms. Stephanie studied Child and Family Development at the University of Akron and has extensive training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention. She believes that children learn best through exploration and discovery and is excited to inspire curiosity and love of learning in each of her students. With over ten years of experience homeschooling her children while living abroad, Ms. Stephanie has found joy in seeing children grow as they discover the world around them. She can't wait to create a joyful and rich learning environment in the Pre-K Classroom here at The Goddard School of Wadsworth.

Ms. Emma has experience in Early Childhood Education from her years of working as a teacher in the field. She loves watching how children interact with each other and finds joy in watching the children grow. She is dedicated to making The Goddard School of Wadsworth the most welcoming space for children and their families. As a Resource Teacher, Ms. Emma is looking forward to getting to know the children and families throughout the entire school.

Ms. Zoe is studying Early Childhood Education at Cleveland State University and has been working in the field of education as a camp counselor and teacher for over 6 years. Building a sense of family, community, teamwork and joy here at The Goddard School of Wadsworth are goals that Ms. Zoe plans to accomplish. She loves that each day working with children is a new, crazy, funny adventure. Seeing children develop their personalities and knowing she has made an impact on their lives is what brings Ms. Zoe joy. She is looking forward to working in all our classrooms and getting to know each child.
