After being in the corporate world for over ten years she wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community by providing an exceptional service for children. Paula is very excited to own a business that is centered on her most important priority - family. She is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children. Paula looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

Philosophy on Teaching: All children learn in different ways. Children are eager to learn and as they are exposed to information they will absorb it!

    Tenure: March 2022. Experience & Education: Over 15 years of experience in the childcare field, has four children of her own and holds a current CDA certificate. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child grows at their own pace. They may not all complete a skill at the same time. Some may take longer than others to finish and that is great! They will all finish!

    Tenure: November 2019 Experience & Education: Over 5 years working in an Early Childhood setting and is in the process of completing her CDA (Child Development Associate Credential).Philosophy on Teaching: I believe that it is important to give and show every child love. I also believe in giving children a sense of self and independence. Each of these things is necessary in helping children become happy, secure, and functioning healthily in society. We as teachers must give children the knowledge and social emotional tools needed to push through the world in a healthy manner.

Having realistic expectations and patience will build a teacher / student relationship that leads to trust and learning.

Philosophy on Teaching: Teachers have one of the biggest impacts on a child's life. Every child is unique and has unique gifts. My job as a teacher, is to help children show those gifts. I want children in my care to flourish and I need to give them necessary tools to do so.

Philosophy on Teaching: A teacher should guide children and encourage them through experiences. Children all learn at different times and in different ways. An effective teacher is adaptable and patient with all children in their classroom.
