Paula,Owner - Paula graduated from Cleveland State University with her degree in Communication. After being in the corporate world for over ten years she wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community by providing an exceptional service for children. Paula is very excited to own a business that is centered on her most important priority - family. She is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children. Paula looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

Tenure: March 2023. Experience & Education: Has over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood Field, starting as an infant teacher and working up to a Regional Director. Philosophy on Teaching: All children learn in different ways. Children are eager to learn and as they are exposed to information they will absorb it!

Tenure: March 2022. Experience & Education: Over 15 years of experience in the childcare field, has four children of her own and holds a current CDA certificate. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child grows at their own pace. They may not all complete a skill at the same time. Some may take longer than others to finish and that is great! They will all finish!

Tenure: November 2019 Experience & Education: Over 5 years working in an Early Childhood setting and is in the process of completing her CDA (Child Development Associate Credential).Philosophy on Teaching: I believe that it is important to give and show every child love. I also believe in giving children a sense of self and independence. Each of these things is necessary in helping children become happy, secure, and functioning healthily in society. We as teachers must give children the knowledge and social emotional tools needed to push through the world in a healthy manner.

Tenure: June 2024. Experience and Education: 10 years experience in the childcare field, 8 in a center setting with the last 3 years working with infants. Philosophy on Teaching: Children are eager to please and setting attainable goals is key. Having realistic expectations and patience will build a teacher / student relationship that leads to trust and learning.

Tenure: October 2023. Experience & Education: Has 2 years of Nannying experience and some college in Psychology. Philosophy on Teaching: Teachers have one of the biggest impacts on a child's life. Every child is unique and has unique gifts. My job as a teacher, is to help children show those gifts. I want children in my care to flourish and I need to give them necessary tools to do so.

Tenure: April 2024. Experience & Education: Has six months experience working in a childcare center and has two children of her own. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child is unique and what works for one child may not work for another. My goal is to provide individualized instruction to meet the educational needs of each child.

Tenure: July 2023. Experience & Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and over 13 years working with young children in a childcare setting. Philosophy on Teaching: Building strong reciprocal relations with parents is paramount! Children learn through play. Having a classroom environment that is engaging, fun, and filled with open-ended experiences for the children is important so that their learning journey helps them grow in their own unique way!

Tenure: April 2024. Experience & Education: Six years of experience working as a volunteer at a church preschool program. Philosophy on Teaching: Teachers are the people that connect with generation after generation; teaching skills and values that will help a child when they are older. It's important to be present and teach the kids everything they need to learn!

Tenure: May 2024. Experience & Education: has 6 years of experience in the a childcare setting. Philosophy on Teaching: I am extremely passionate about child development and love watching the children learn and grow in new skills everyday.

Tenure: June 2024. Experience & Education: New to the field. Philosophy on Teaching: Children should be in an environment where they are accepted for who they are and that encourages growth socially and educationally.

Tenure: April 2019 Experience & Education: Over 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood field. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child should feel welcomed and valued. Each child needs to be heard by fellow classmates, teachers and parents. Children should be excited about all the fun things they are learning!

Tenure: February 2024. Experience & Education: 3 months of childcare experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. Philosophy on Teaching: A teacher is a life coach, second parent and more! It's important for a teacher to get to know each child in their class and see how they can positively impact their life.

Tenure: September 2005 Experience & Education: Thirty years of experience, two children of her own, certified as an Early Literacy Mentor Specialist (ELMS) and Early Childhood Education courses at Youngstown State. Philosophy on Teaching: Children should learn in a safe, fun and comfortable way. Children should be exposed to many different things in their environment and have hands on experience.

Tenure: February 2023. Experience & Education: One year of childcare experience and over three years of experience as a Direct Support Professional. Philosophy on Teaching: Teaching is a daily relationship formed between children and educators. By understanding deeply what inspires and delights our little learners, we can guide them to experiences that lead to enriched learning.

Tenure: January 2005. Experience & Education: Over twenty years of experience, two children of her own and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Philosophy on Teaching: Teachers must provide a variety of experiences each day for children to explore through play while stimulating all of their senses.

Tenure: April 2024. Experience & Education: Five years of experience working with young children in a preschool setting. Some college courses in Early Childhood Education. Philosophy on Teaching: "Lead with Love". It is our jobs as teachers to love the whole child. Regardless of age, gender, family structure, or any other factor every child's day should start with new beginnings and fresh minds. My number one goal is for every child to feel seen and cared for.

Tenure: April 2019. Experience & Education: An Associates degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a CDA. Over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood field including working in the CMSD with special needs children. Philosophy on Teaching: It is my philosophy that each child has the potential to do amazing things. It is also my belief that as a professional, I am responsible for shaping and teaching each child so that they are prepareed for the next level of education.

Tenure: August 2023. Experience & Education: Has experience working in a childcare center as a teacher for 6 years and most recently a substitute teacher for the last year and a half. Has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Health and Human Services: Community Mental Health. Philosophy on Teaching: A teacher should guide children and encourage them through experiences. Children all learn at different times and in different ways. An effective teacher is adaptable and patient with all children in their classroom.

Tenure: September 2023. Experience and Education: 17 years experience working with young children in a childcare setting. Has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Philosophy on Teaching: Children are like soil. They are just waiting for a seed to be planted. As a teacher I feel it is a great opportunity to plant the right positive seeds, so that one the children in my care can blossom in to something wonderful!

Tenure: December 2023. Experience & Education: Over 10 years of experience in the Early Childhood field. Associates in Early Childhood Education. Philosophy on Teaching: Learning can be different for each child. Therefore, it's important to observe them as individuals. Children should be approached on the current level that they are at and given various opportunities to continue to learn in a way that they understand.
