Meet Paula Owner

I’m extremely proud to be the on-site owner and operator of The Goddard School in Independence, Ohio! Since joining the school in 2011, I’ve been deeply dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood experience for every family who walks through our doors. My husband, Bob, and I are the proud parents of three girls, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact The Goddard School has had on their academic growth and social-emotional development. That experience has only strengthened my commitment to creating a nurturing and thriving learning environment for all children. I truly believe that the early years are foundational. I’m passionate about creating a safe, engaging space where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow, both as learners and as individuals. I look forward to partnering with your family and creating many positive experiences and lasting memories together as we begin this exciting journey!

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

We like the tadpoles app and how much detail it gives. We really like the front office staff a lot- they are so helpful and get to know our child even though they’re not their teachers. We love our sons teachers and the curriculum. He comes home saying new things all the time and I know he learned them at school. We love that the kids go outside a lot, even in winter.

We love Goddard independence! Miss Jenattee and miss Paula are awesome! And miss Sonia and miss Colleen in the whales room are so accommodating to our kiddo. Our kiddo loves to interact, learn, and have fun with the theme of the day during the summer. The Goddard school is the best! Nurturing and fun at the same time!
