Our Goddard School Teachers

I am so proud to be part of this wonderful school; our children, parents, and faculty make an amazing family! Prior to owning the school, I worked for Goddard Systems Incorporated (Franchisor of The Goddard School). I decided early on that I firmly believed in the educational program that Goddard provides. I believe we change the lives of children and families. I believe we provide the environment, materials, direction, and opportunities for experiences that will promote a child's innate ability to learn and develop. I am passionate that they graduate being School Ready, Career Ready, Life Ready.

Mrs. Melanie has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University. Mrs. Melanie previously worked in our older toddler classroom and was promoted to director due to her passion for early childhood learning. She is dedicated to providing the best of care for every child and enjoys seeing children reach key milestones every day. Ms. Melanie enjoys the time spent with her children as they attend The Goddard School. Her favorite author is Mo Willams.

Ms. Aimee is our Assistant Director. She has been with us at the Goddard School of Hilliard since 2018. She loves watching and helping children learn and explore as they grow. Ms. Aimee is currently pursuing her CDA specializing in infants and toddlers. She loves to read Pete the Cat books by Eric Litwin. She has enjoyed getting to be closer to her son as he's grown with Goddard and is officially starting Kindergarten.

I started working for Goddard in 2002 and consider it “home”. I love everything Goddard stands for and am blessed that I get to call this my job. I have my CDA and love using knowledge and experience to help the kiddos learn. I love watching the kids grow and learn and it's so rewarding when you see them finally grasp something that you have been teaching them. Another favorite is being partners with parents. I want every parent that comes into our school to have the best experience possible. I want them to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that their child is loved, safe and taken care of by the best teacher around.

Ms. Lauri has dedicated her career to early childhood education since 1991 and has proudly been a part of The Goddard School family since 2006. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, loving environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. One of the greatest joys of her career is building meaningful relationships with children and their families and having the privilege of celebrating milestones—from first steps and first words to growing confidence and independence. Ms. Lauri believes that the early years are the foundation for a lifetime of learning and is committed to helping each child reach their fullest potential through patience, encouragement, and individualized care. She is currently working toward earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infant and Toddler Care to further expand her knowledge and continue providing the highest quality early education. Ms. Jasmine brings a fun, energetic, and caring spirit to The Goddard School every day. While pursuing her education in zoology after beginning her studies in pre-veterinary medicine, she discovered a true passion for working with young children. What started as a new experience quickly became something she loves, and she has found a special connection with our toddler classrooms. Ms. Jasmine enjoys helping toddlers explore the world around them, celebrate new discoveries, and build confidence through play and hands-on learning. Her positive attitude, patience, and playful nature help create a warm and engaging classroom where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and have fun each day. Before joining The Goddard School, Ms. Jasmine worked as a swim instructor, where she developed a love for teaching, encouraging children, and helping them achieve new milestones. Ms. Sarah enjoys working in childcare as children are a great reminder to enjoy life and to take time to “smell the roses” every day. As a mother of two, red bull and coffee are her favorite drinks. At the end of the day she enjoys sitting down to relax and read a good book! She is currently working on her CDA in infant and toddler care.

Ms. Sydney has been working in early childhood education since 2020 and is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment. She believes every child is unique and enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. One of her favorite parts of teaching is celebrating each child's milestones and watching them discover new skills as they grow. Ms. Sydney is dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential while building strong relationships with the families she serves. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and expressing her creativity through painting.

Mrs. Rachel began working at the Goddard school in the Get Set room before joining the Preschool program. She attended Ohio Dominican University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in educational studies in 2019. Her favorite part of working here is getting to see children laugh, grow, play, and create strong friendships.

Mrs. Lisa has been working in childcare since 2017 with Pre-K students. She also has her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She loves coming to work and hearing each child’s exciting news about their new shoes, boo-boos, or getting to see Grandma and Grandpa. She loves learning alongside the kids, asking questions and discovering new things with them. Mrs. Lisa’s goal is to help children get excited about school for years to come!

Mr. Mathew has been working in childcare since 2014 in various roles. He has a passion for teaching and the arts, which is evident by the elaborate hats and cardboard play structures you will often find him creating. He enjoys using his skills as a great way to get children more excited and involved in their learning. Seeing children learn and grow is the most rewarding part of being a teacher for Mr. Mathew.

Ms. Paige earned her degree in 2019 from Ohio Dominican University in Early Childhood/Intervention Specialist. After college she spent some time working at Walt Disney World before returning home to go back to working with children in an educational environment. She loves to help foster learning, growth and creativity in children.

Mrs. Missy has been part of The Goddard School family since 2016 and has experience working with children of all ages, from Infants through School Age. She loves creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. In addition to her early childhood experience, Mrs. Missy is also a Registered Dental Assistant. She is the proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren, who have inspired her passion for working with young children. She enjoys helping children build confidence, discover new skills, and develop a lifelong love of learning while creating meaningful relationships with every family she serves.

Ms. Jeanette loves working with children of all ages as one of our dedicated Resource Teachers. From infants to school-age students, she enjoys building meaningful relationships and helping each child feel supported, encouraged, and confident as they learn and grow. She believes every child is unique and enjoys creating positive experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Whether she's helping children master a new skill, celebrating a milestone, or simply sharing a smile, Ms. Jeanette is passionate about making a positive difference in each child's day. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Education to continue expanding her knowledge and provide the highest quality care and education for the children and families she serves.

Ms. Grace is returning to Goddard as a graduate from the program several years ago. She is excited to be joining us for the Summers as a teacher! She is currently attending college during the academic year studying world language education with a specialization in Spanish. Ms. Grace is looking forward to her time here as she is excited to get to build relationships and work with kids. Some of her favorite memories of attending The Goddard School are from Summer Camp playing games, coloring, and so many other adventures.

Ms. Ayah is excited to be part of The Goddard School because she truly loves working with children and being a part of their growth and development. Watching children learn new skills, build confidence, and experience the joys of childhood is such a rewarding blessing. In her free time, she enjoy spending time outdoors and expressing my creativity through drawing. Ayah also loves to laugh, and the children never fail to brighten my day with their smiles, personalities, and sense of humor. Ayah looks forward to creating meaningful connections and helping each child learn and grow every day!

Ms. Jylian is passionate about early childhood education and loves watching each child learn and grow in their own unique way. She believes every child has incredible potential and enjoys creating a nurturing, encouraging environment where children feel confident exploring, discovering, and developing new skills. Inspired by the wonderful teachers who made a lasting impact on her own life, Ms. Jylian hopes to provide that same positive influence for the children and families she serves. She plans to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education to continue expanding her knowledge and provide the highest quality care and learning experiences. Ms. Jylian looks forward to helping each child build a strong foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

Mrs. Bryce has always known her two greatest passions were becoming a mother and helping children learn and grow. Since beginning her career in early childhood education in 2018, she has found tremendous joy in nurturing young minds and creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She believes the early years are filled with meaningful moments and enjoys celebrating each child's milestones while helping build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. As both a teacher and a parent, Mrs. Bryce understands the trust families place in their child's educators and is grateful that her own son is able to learn, grow, and feel loved at The Goddard School alongside the children she teaches.

Ms. Chelsea has always had a passion for working with children. From babysitting to teaching horseback riding lessons, she has spent much of her life helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. That passion has continued to grow, leading her to a rewarding career in early childhood education. As both an educator and a parent, she understands the trust families place in their child's teachers each day. With her own child also attending The Goddard School, she values creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels loved, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with children and families while helping create a strong foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

Ms. Hannah has been working in early childhood education since 2023 and is passionate about building meaningful relationships with children while helping them learn, grow, and gain confidence each day. She believes every child deserves a nurturing, supportive environment where they feel safe to explore, discover, and reach their full potential. Ms. Hannah is currently attending Otterbein University, where she is pursuing a degree in Education to further her passion for teaching young learners. Originally from Canal Fulton, Ohio, she recently moved to Columbus and is excited to be part of The Goddard School community. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her two cats and has a love for animals. She looks forward to partnering with families and making a positive impact on each child's learning journey.

Miss Kirstin has been working with children for more than 10 years through camps, educational programs, and schools. As an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom, she is passionate about creating a caring, engaging environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. She loves helping young learners build confidence, develop new skills, and discover the joy of learning each day. Originally from Garden City, Kansas, Miss Kirstin earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Science from Kansas State University before moving to Ohio in 2021. She enjoys building strong relationships with the children and families she serves and is excited to be part of each child's learning journey. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Dylan, and their two cats, Pinecone and Mister.
