Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Elizabeth was born in Queens, NY. She attended SUNY Old Westbury, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Elizabeth taught kindergarten and second grade in the South Huntington School District in South Huntington, NY. She later earned her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stony Brook University in New York. Now living in Cleveland, Miss Elizabeth is thrilled to bring The Goddard School to the Highland Heights area. Creating a school environment that focuses on the way young children learn, is nurturing, and makes a child's first school experience positive and fun is truly a dream come true for her.

Miss Gina is our Director of Operations. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Education. Miss Gina has been working with children since 2006. She joined our team in 2013. Ms. Gina started at our school as a toddler teacher and transitioned into the director position in 2014.

Ms. Gwen has earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Pre-School as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood through Grade 12 Education from the Francisco Morazan University of Honduras. Ms. Gwen also holds several certificates from the Leader in Me program, a leadership program for kids of all ages from Stephen Covey, as well as from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People; a Program for which she was facilitator and coordinator working with parents and students. Ms. Gwen has been teaching since 1997 in both Early Childhood and Elementary positions. Ms. Gwen is our Director of Education and our Spanish teacher. Her experience with educational curriculums gives her all the tools needed to guide our school to the next level.

Ms. Maggie is Lead Teacher in our Infant Program, Room 1. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lakeland Community College. Miss Maggie has been teaching infants since 2008. She joined our school in 2014. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

Miss Rhonda is Assistant Teacher in Room 1. She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2012 and joined our school in 2014. Ms. Rhonda works alongside Ms. Rachel in the infant classroom. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

Ms. Laura is Lead Teacher in our infant program, Room 2. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from John Carroll University. Ms. Laura has worked with young children since 2010, ranging from toddlers to elementary-aged students. She joined our school in 2020. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

Ms. Sarah has been working as an early childhood teacher since 2013. She is the assistant teacher in Room 2. Ms. Sarah joined our team in 2023.

Ms. Emily, is the Lead Teacher in our WOL Toddler Program, Room 3. She enjoys working with older infants and creating a supportive environment for our youngest students. Ms. Emily received her Child Development Associate and joined our team in 2018.

Ms. Shalese is Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-K Program, Classroom 11. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Ms. Shalese has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2012. She joined our team in 2020. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

Ms. Jam, is Lead Teacher in Room 6. She holds a Child Development Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Jam joined our Goddard School in 2018. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

Ms. Lesly is our Assistant Teacher in Room 6. She has a Bachelor's Degree from UNITEC University in Honduras. She joined our team in 2015. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep, Conscious Discipline and GSU Trainings.

Ms. Ari is the Co-Lead Teacher in our WOL Two's Program, Classroom 5. She has worked in the Early Education field since 2018. Ms. Ari is pursuing an Early Childhood Associate degree. She joined our team in 2022.

Ms.Leah was a Lead Teacher in our Toddler and Preschool Program before joining the administrative team in January 2025. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and joined our school in 2018. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

Ms. Claudia is the Lead teacher in our WOL Bridge program, Room 7. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and has been teaching since 2013. Ms. Claudia joined our team in 2022.

Ms. Debbie is the Lead Teacher in Preschool, Room 10. She has been an early childhood educator since 2000. Ms. Debbie has a Child Development Associate Degree. She loves storytelling and is known for bringing a suitcase full of props to her classroom. She joined our team in 2022.

Ms. Kiara is the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool Program, Classroom 10. She has been in the early education field since 2020 and joined our team in 2023. She is currently pursuing a degree in education.

Ms. Hannah is our Assistant Teacher in Room 4. She holds a Child Development Associate degree and has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2019. Ms. Hannah joined our team in 2023.

Ms. Amalia is our WOL Two's Program in Room 4. She holds a Child Development Associate. Ms. Amalia has been a part of our team since 2019. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

Miss Lyssa is Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten Program, Room 12. She has her Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in Child and Family Studies. She has experience working with children since 2010. Ms. Lyssa joined our program in 2016. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

Mr. Gabe is the Lead Teacher in our preschool program, Room 9. Mr. Gabe is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. He joined our team in 2018.

Ms. Kimberly is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-K Program, Room 12. Ms. Kimberly has been a preschool teacher since 2005. She joined our team in 2025.

Ms. Makaila Co-Lead Teacher in our Two's Program, Room 5. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and has been working in the early childhood field since 2020. She joined our team in 2025.

Ms. Heaven is one of our Assistant Teachers. She is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Education. You will see Ms. Heaven helping out in different classrooms. She has been a part of our team since 2019.

Ms. Criselda is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant Program, Rooms 1 and 2. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the National University of Mexico. Ms. Criselda loves singing to the babies. She joined our team in Room 12.
