Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Maureen is the Educational Director at The Goddard School, bringing over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. Since joining our team in 2013, she has worked in nearly every classroom, building strong connections with both families and teachers. Her deep understanding of our school’s philosophy and daily operations has made her an invaluable part of the leadership team. Prior to her current role, Ms. Maureen spent 11 years successfully managing a local nursery school, further enhancing her expertise in early childhood development. Her passion for education and commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment make her a trusted leader at The Goddard School.

Ms. Allison is the Assistant Director at our school, bringing 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has a rich background working with children of all ages, from 18 months to school age. Allison began her journey with us as a lead teacher in our Crocodile Room in 2014, where she developed a deep connection with both children and families. Passionate about fostering a nurturing, individualized learning environment, she believes every child should be able to learn and grow at their own pace. Now in her administrative role, Allison is thrilled to continue supporting our families and helping guide children toward success in a caring and engaging atmosphere.

With over 35 years of experience in both early childhood education and business, Miss Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our team. Holding an Early Childhood degree from Dutchess Community College, she has been an integral part of our administrative team for over three years. Miss Kathy’s calm, nurturing approach creates a warm and supportive environment where children thrive. We’re proud to have her as part of our family!

Miss Gina is the Lead Teacher in the Giraffes Infant classroom. She has credentials in Early Childhood Education and over several years’ experience working with young children. Gina is a very patient and nurturing teacher who enjoys seeing the children learn new skills.

Miss Michayla is a wonderful addition to our Goddard family! She is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Michayla provides a nurturing environment for the infants to learn and grow!

Miss Tanya is thrilled to be the Lead Teacher in the Panthers Infant classroom at The Goddard School. Although she’s been with us for one year, she brings 4 years of valuable experience in childcare. With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Special Education, Miss Tanya is dedicated to creating a nurturing, supportive environment where babies can thrive and reach their full potential. Her passion for early childhood development and her commitment to providing a safe, loving space for growth make her an exceptional educator and a wonderful asset to our school community.

Miss Shelby is a wonderful addition to our Goddard family! She is the Assistant Teacher in our Peaceful Panthers classroom and comes to us with years of experience working with children. Shelby provides a nurturing environment for the children to learn and play!

Miss Denise is the Lead Teacher in the Gorilla Pre-Toddler classroom. With over 5 years of experience working with young children, Denise is CDA certified in Early Childhood Education. She is an energetic and nurturing teacher who is dedicated to creating a safe, happy, and healthy environment where young children can thrive and grow. Her passion for fostering early development ensures that each child feels supported and loved every day.

Miss Rebecca is excited to step into the Assistant Teacher in our Gorillas Toddler classroom!

Miss Julia is the Lead Teacher in our Eager Elephants toddler classroom! She comes to us with years of experience in childcare and provides a nurturing environment for the children to learn and play!

Miss Bethany has been working with infants and toddlers assisting in the classroom environment for more than 10 years. It brings her joy to observe children learn new things and express their excitement with every achievement!

Miss Doreen is the Assistant Teacher in our Parrots Get Set classroom. She has a passion for working with children!

Ms. Kristin is the Lead Teacher in the Hippos Preschool classroom, bringing over 10 years of experience working with young children. She is currently working towards earning her CDA credentials in Early Childhood Education. Known for her caring, energetic, and positive approach, Ms. Kristin is a wonderful role model for both her students and colleagues. She is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where children can thrive and develop their full potential.

Miss Bella is the Assistant Teacher in our Hippos Preschool classroom. She comes to us with years of experience working with children. She strives to provide a nurturing environment for the children to learn, grow and have fun!

Miss Chrissy is the Lead Teacher in the Rhino Preschool classroom. With over 20 years of experience working with young children and an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Chrissy is a dedicated and passionate educator. She thrives on watching children develop and grow, and she is committed to creating a positive, nurturing environment where each child can reach their full potential.

Miss Elizabeth, who previously taught in our Crocs Get Set classroom, has returned to provide valuable support by covering lunch breaks at our center. With over 10 years of experience working with young children, Elizabeth holds an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree. She is passionate about engaging children in the creative arts and reading theme-related books by popular children's authors. A dedicated and caring teacher, Elizabeth encourages her students' growth while helping them develop independence and essential skills.

Miss Colleen is the Lead Teacher in the Snakes Preschool classroom. With over 10 years of experience working with young children and an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Colleen is a passionate educator who is dedicated to supporting her students' growth and development. She creates a positive and engaging learning environment where each child is guided through the learning process with care and encouragement.

Miss Casey is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-K Zebra classroom. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health and has several years of experience working with young children. Known for her caring and dedicated approach, Casey loves watching her students develop and grow. She is passionate about introducing new learning experiences, especially through technology, to engage and inspire her students.

Miss Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and brings over 5 years of experience working with children, both through her professional work and involvement in theater. She is passionate about watching children grow and thrives on cherishing each stage of their development, creating a supportive environment where they can flourish.

Miss Alli is the Lead Pre-K Teacher in the Antelope classroom, bringing over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Master’s degree in Literacy and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. With a passion for nurturing young minds, Alli designs learning experiences that are tailored to each child’s unique interests and needs. Her patient and loving approach creates a supportive environment where children can flourish. Outside of the classroom, Miss Alli enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son.

Miss Laura is the assistant teacher in the Antelope Classroom, bringing over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early and Elementary Education (B–6th) and is passionate about inspiring curiosity and a love of learning. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her 10-year-old cat Rosie, hiking, paddle boarding, crafting, and playing games.

Miss Paula Jo is excited to step into the Lead Teacher in the Monkeys Pre-K classroom, bringing over 14 years of experience in childcare. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and fun learning environment where children can grow and explore. Miss Paula Jo is excited to work alongside her students, promoting both learning and enjoyment in every activity.

Miss Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin Pierce College and has over 10 years of experience working with children. Known for her patience and caring nature, Kristen takes the time to build strong connections with each student, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
