Here you'll learn about the outstanding 35-person team of directors and caring, educated, experienced, credentialed lead, assistant and flex teachers – as well as flex resources -- we've assembled to provide children who are six weeks old to Pre-Kindergarten age with the best early childhood preparation for social and academic success the best early childhood care, development, and education experience in the area.
To deliver the best, our caring, compassionate faculty and staff will pursue Operational Excellence in all that they do including developing and maintaining classroom environments that reflect our SOAR Philosophy because they are Safe and simply arranged, Orderly, Aesthetically pleasing, and Respectful.
At our school, your child will learn for fun – and for life - through carefully developed, daily lesson plans based on Goddard Systems’ Fun Learning Experience (F.L.EX.®) curriculum. The F.L.EX. develops the whole child by incorporating language, literacy, social and physical skills, social studies and STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math.

Nan graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Home Economics that includes a concentration in Child Development & Family Relations and a specialization in Medical/Vocational Rehabilitation. She’s also an interpreter for the deaf, a Certified American Montessori Society Infant/Toddler Teacher, holds First Aid, CPR and MAT certificates and has more nearly twenty years of experience with child care, daycare, and early childhood education centers.
Gary grew up in West Irondequoit where his mother also taught in elementary schools. He has advanced degrees in Architecture and Engineering Management from Cornell and Drexel respectively, and is a retired architect, innovator, business executive, and non-profit board leader. Additionally, he is Chair of the Engineering Technologies Department at Monroe Community College overseeing programs in construction, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, and optical systems technology.
We have two grown children, live in the Town of Pittsford - not far from the school, and have also lived in the villages of Pittsford and Fairport at one time or another over the past 40 years.
