    The Goddard School of Manhattan has locations on both the Upper West Side and Upper East Side. We are a school, not a daycare center. We are committed to providing the highest level of stimulating development and warm nurturant care for Infants, and an age-appropriate curriculum for One Year-Olds and up in our Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. Our schools are state-of-the-art facilities with many large sun-filled rooms. Our degreed teachers utilize our unique curriculum to teach your child in a fun and loving environment.     Executive Director
    Sandra Sa has a Master's Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and has NYS Teaching Certification. She started her tenure at The Goddard School in January 2012 as Education Director after working 8 years in leadership in another successful preschool. She has supported the growth of The Goddard Schools over the years, and she heads the Kindergarten Exmissions Program for the schools. Sandra's passion lies in supporting the education of young children while being a resource for families and teachers during this important time in a child's life.

    Education Director
    Christel is our Education Director, it is her pleasure to partner with Goddard teachers, staff, families, children, and the neighborhood community. Christel has over 10 years of experience in various roles in schools on the UWS, UES, and the Bronx including Education Director, Health & Safety Director, Assistant Director, and UPK teacher. She hold's a Master's degree from City College in Special Education and a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany in Psychology and Education. Christel believes that with a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and good character anyone can achieve great things. It is her goal to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment that challenges our children to reach beyond their expectations and for them to become lifelong learners who will make the world a better place.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Anna is a Lead Teacher in our Toddler program at Goddard. She loves to educate the little ones and connect on levels that resonate with them. She has a Bachelor's in Psychology with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She has always loved working with children, however her experience teaching abroad was where she fell in love with being an educator. Ms. Anna loves doing art projects with her class and incorporating musical instruments into the daily routine.

    Ms. Daslin is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-School Program. She holds a Bachelors in Inclusive Elementary Education from Syracuse University. She is bilingual in Spanish/English and loves to incorporate this skill into her classroom. With over 7 years of dedicated experience in the field, she is committed to her passion. Ms. Daslin firmly believes in forming connections with her students and their families, while also understanding their interests and identities. Witnessing the spark of enlightenment in a child's eye as they uncover new information brings her great joy!

    Ms. Joizy has had the wonderful opportunity to dedicate over six years of her life to the Early Childhood Industry. Her journey started at John Jay Community College, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. Currently she is pursuing her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Mercy College. At home, she is a proud parent of two adorable toddlers, who are her greatest joys. Ms. Joizy believes that one of the most rewarding aspects of working with children is witnessing the astonishing speed at which they grow and their minds flourish.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Jessica is an Assistant Teacher at the Goddard School. She has been working with children ages 8 months to 5 year olds since 2014. She has a variety of experiences with children including teaching, tutoring, and babysitting. Ms. Jessica is fluent in Spanish and loves to help the little ones learn this language. She has worked as an Assistant Teacher in Pre-K, 3K, and toddler classes. She is a motivated and very experienced educator who has a passion to support children in all aspects of learning.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Kayla is an Assistant Teacher in the infant program at The Goddard School. She has been around children most of her life, having babysat for many families and friends. Ms. Kayla loves going on walks to clear her mind which is also one of her favorite things to do with the children, along with dance parties. Ms. Kayla dedicates her time to learning all of the nuances of each of the children in her class in order to provide the best care possible.

    Jocelyn

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Jocelyn graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education at The City College of New York. Though she’s worked with older kids, she always had a love for working with infants and toddlers. She thoroughly enjoys playing with the children and loves to see them achieve their milestones! Helping to educate the little ones is a passion of her's and Ms. Jocelyn is so happy to be able to do that here at Goddard.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Kayla is an infant Assistant Teacher at Goddard. She attended borough Manhattan Community College for Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children of all ages for 8 years total, however infants is her passion. In her free time she loves to babysit and spend time with family. Ms. Kayla's favorite activity to do with her class is various types of art projects, and she cannot wait to see what her students create this year!
