For almost 35 years we've offered exceptional early childhood education from infancy through pre-kindergarten. Our NAEYC accredited program inspires curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Meet Laura On-Site Owner

Congratulations on 29 years! Laura has been the on-site Owner of The Goddard School in Piscataway since June 2015, following more than 15 years of dedicated service as the School’s Director. Her journey with The Goddard School began in February 1996, when she first joined the team as a classroom teacher before moving into leadership roles. With a degree in Psychology and Sociology from Rutgers University and additional work in Early Childhood Education from Kean University, Laura brings both heart and expertise to everything she does. She is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and its New Jersey affiliate, NJAEYC—organizations that reflect her commitment to the field. Outside of school, Laura is the proud mom of three boys—all of whom are graduates of The Goddard School. Her personal and professional lives are rooted in a genuine love for children and a passion for creating nurturing learning environments where children thrive.

All the fundamentals are high quality the curriculum, the safety protocols, the space (indoors and outdoors). Then the extras are phenomenal (water play, events, staffing, and everything else). National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

Child Care Aware is the nation's most respected hub of information for parents and child care providers. A program of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware helps families learn more about the elements of quality child care and how to locate programs in their communities. Child Care Aware also provides child care providers with access to resources for their child care programs.

ANTHONY A. MARTINO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

A graduate of this Goddard School was chosen to receive the Anthony A. Martino Memorial Scholarship. The college scholarship is awarded annually to a graduate of a Goddard School who demonstrates the work ethic and perseverance that exemplified Martino’s commitment to his career, family and community. Graduates are eligible during their senior year of high school and can use the scholarship toward an accredited higher education program.
