Mr. Harsh & Mrs. Mona Shah are the owners of the Goddard School of Lyndhurst. As parents themselves, they understand the importance of early childhood development. Mr. Harsh has come from a background in Accounting and Finance, while Mrs. Mona has come from a background in Education and Public Health. Taking their years of experience, they took the journey to be a part of something larger than themselves and joined the Goddard Family. They are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, as well as providing the highest quality preschool experience in the Lyndhurst and Bergen County Community.

Hello! My name is Ms. Samantha, and I am so excited to be part of your child’s early learning journey! I have been part of the Goddard School Franchise since 2013, with the incredible opportunity to work at locations in both New York and San Diego, California. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and bring over a decade of hands-on experience in the early childhood field. Hello! My name is Ms. Michelle! I bring more than ten years of experience in early childhood education across both preschool and elementary school settings. Before stepping into this role, I spent a decade teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten in Westchester and New York City. Most recently, I served as an Education Director in Manhattan, where I led curriculum development, guided instructional teams, and built partnerships within the community. In 2021, I earned my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with state teaching certifications in both Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education. I believe that the early years of education are a time to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Hello! My name is Whitley Matamoro, and I serve as the Director of Operations at The Goddard School of Lyndhurst. I’m passionate about creating warm, well-organized school environments where children are nurtured, teachers feel supported, and families feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door. Before joining Goddard, I spent several years as the Preschool Director at Waterfront Montessori, where I led daily operations, supported staff development, and built strong relationships with families. With a background in education and organizational management, I take pride in designing systems that help classrooms run smoothly so teachers can focus on meaningful learning experiences. I’m a proud graduate of Saint Peter’s University. My leadership style is grounded in empathy, communication, and consistency. I believe in uplifting my team and fostering a school culture where everyone feels valued. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking new recipes, and spending time with my family.

Hello! My name is Marisela, and I have been a proud member of The Goddard School family for the past two years. I began my journey here as an Assistant Teacher, then grew into the role of Preschool Lead, and I am now excited to serve as the Teacher Coordinator as part of the administrative team. My name is Ms. Tania and I have 6 years of experience working in a daycare facility in Rutherford NJ. Hi there! I’m Miss Dionna and I am happy to be a part of the Goddard School as an Assistant Teacher! My experience working with children ranges from working as a babysitter for about four years, as well as working in the public and charter school system for the past three years. My passion for education comes from my mother, who has been in the teaching field for more than 13 years! In addition to that, I come from a multicultural background with mostly African American & Puerto Rican ancestry and distant Irish and Caribbean roots.
