Our Goddard School Teachers

Mehul is the proud owner of The Goddard School® located in Durham. Mehul, his wife Kruti and their son have been Triangle residents since 2001. Mehul runs the school with integrity, sincerity and a genuine concern for the children under his care. His goal is to provide a strong foundation for our children, and is thrilled to be a part of the Durham community. Mehul has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and worked as a senior software developer for more than 12 years. He welcomes you to the School, and thanks you for being a member of the Goddard family!

Tammy is a life long early childhood advocate. She loves serving children, families, and other educators. Tammy is a proud graduate of UNCG with a BA in Human Development & Family Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She is a Level 3 Administrator with a Post-Grad certificate in Infant/Toddler Learning and master's degree from UNCG in Educational Leadership in Administration. She believes in professional development and formal education and that people are always students continuously learning, developing, and growing. To further contribute to the field of early childhood, Tammy is a part of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. where her impact on the field of education and community are felt. Tammy resides in Durham with her husband. They have seven adult children and four grandchildren. She loves reading, riding bikes and dancing to all genres of music!

Pallavi has always had the passion to guide and develop people. She has her Bachelor's in Psychology and her Master's in Organizational Leadership. She also has some certification classes in early childhood education. She has been in this field since 2016, and two of those years she spent teaching English in China. She is excited and looking forward to working with the children, teachers and admin at the Goddard school. Pallavi is from Austin, Texas and moved to North Carolina in 2021 from Colorado. She enjoys exploring new places, trying different food, dancing, biking, going to shows, camping/being in mountains and spending time with her husband and their cat!

Ms. Alani is teaching in our Kicking Kangaroos classroom. She has been in the field of Early Childhood education since 2021. She has a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. Her teaching philosophy is to help children explore the world through their senses while gaining social and emotional stability through learning. When she is not working, she enjoys dancing, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends!

Ms. Brianica is teaching in our Kind Koalas Toddler classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has Elementary education background and is currently getting her EDU for early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that the world is the best education tool there is. When she is not working, she enjoys being a new mom and loves to read, listen to music, baking and yoga!

Ms. Victoria is teaching in our Playful Pandas Toddler classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2024! She has various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes in making sure that children have fun as they are continually learning. When she is not working, she enjoys reading walking, talking to her parents, watching movies, and singing!

Ms. Delanie is teaching in our Eager Elephants classroom. She is currently in school for a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration is Family and Consumer Sciences. Ms. Delanie's teaching philosophy is to encourage creativity and confidence in her students. She enjoys seeing children figuring puzzles on their own and feeling proud of their work! When she is not working, she enjoys shopping and cooking.

Ms. Jasmine is one of Eager Elephant teachers in the twos classroom. She has been teaching since 2024 and has various early childhood health and safety trainings. Her teaching philosophy is blends and focuses on nurturing the whole child, creating hands-on learning experiences, and helping young learners grow with curiosity, confidence, and kindness. In her free time, she enjoys styling her hair in new ways and practicing different nail art designs.

Ms. Siama is teaching in our Perky Penguins Bridge classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2018! She has a Associate's in Early Childhood Education. Her teaching philosophy is giving love first, learning is next. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her children and loves watching TV shows, going to the beach and travelling.

Ms. Seidy is teaching in our Perky Penguins Bridge classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2012! She has a Bachelor's in Education with knowledge in basic computing. Her teaching philosophy is that if you change the way you think, you can do anything in life, so she wants to pass that onto children and teach them positive life skills. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, visiting new places and going to church!

Ms. Deborah is teaching in our Friendly Frogs Preschool class. She has been teaching since 2022 and has her EDU 119 certificate. Her teaching philosophy is creating a safe, loving and engaging environment where every child feels valued and excited to learn. She strives to build strong relationships with each child by understanding their individual needs, interests and learning styles. When she's not working she spends time with her son and family!

Ms. Shamya is one of our FLEX teachers that teaches in a various classrooms. She has been teaching since 2026. She is currently studying Recreational Therapy at North Carolina Central University. Her teaching philosophy is that every child deserves to feel seen, safe and supported. She likes focusing on creating a fun, positive space where kids can grow, learn and be themselves. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor recreation, spending time with family, listening to music and DIY crafts.

Ms. Luz is teaching in our Mighty Moose Preschool classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2020! She has health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is showing compassion and supporting little ones grow and learn, and she is grateful to God for giving her this opportunity. When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her three children!

Ms. Fatima is teaching in our Mighty Moose preschool classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is encouragement and growth as she strives to help young learners achieve developmental milestones. When she is not working, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her two girls!

Ms. Hua is teaching in our Brave Bears Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2012! She has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and taken various early childhood courses. Her teaching philosophy is to give support and compassion to children and work with them in order to grow. When she is not working, she enjoys watching TV/ the news and traveling!

Ms. Vanesa is teaching in our Brave Bears Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching since 2023! She has various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is to create a safe and supportive environment where kids can explore their interests, feel comforted, take risks and enjoy learning with hands on activities. When she is not working, she enjoys outdoor activities such as picnics, walks and finding new places, reading and watching/attending sporting events!

Ms. MK is one of our FLEX teachers and teachers in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2019! Her teaching philosophy includes teaching students the Golden Rule of respect, using gentle hands and providing emotionally safe spaces. When she is not working, she enjoys play guitar, roller skating, swimming and she also models!

Ms. Dianne is one of our FLEX teachers and teaches in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 1980! She has an EDU credential and various health and safety trainings in Early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that learning is fun and should always be a safe place. When she is not working, she enjoys going on walking trails as well as spending time with her grandchildren!

Ms. Khedidja is one of our FLEX teachers and teaches in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2023 but has taught older children since 1985! She has a computer science background and various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational background where they can grow mentally and emotionally. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and traveling!

Ms. Daniella is one of our FLEX teachers and teaches in various classrooms. She has been teaching since 2019 with Durham public schools. She has Bachelors in Primary Education and her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She believes in building a strong foundation in literacy development and emotional regulation skills. In her free time she enjoys gardening, comedy, cooking, playing the recorder and going on road trips.

Ms. Kaylyn is one of our FLEX teachers who teaches in various classrooms.

Ms. Alex is one of our FLEX teachers and teaches in various classrooms. She is currently getting her Bachelor's in Elementary Education at North Carolina Central University. She has been teaching since 2025! Ms. Alex believes in creating an inclusive, supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers little learners. When she's not working, she enjoys traveling!

Ms. Rashida is one of our FLEX teachers working in the ITERS classrooms. She has been teaching since 2011. She has her Bachelor's in Education. Ms. Rashida believes in teaching children with love and kindness as well as teaching with compassion and respect to help grow and develop a human being. When she is not teaching she enjoys cooking and sewing!

Ms. Arnetta teaches in various classrooms. She has been teaching early childhood since 2026. She has various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy includs emphasizing the importance of literacy. When she's not working, she enjoys talking walks in parks and being in nature.
