Our Teachers

Mehul is the proud owner of The Goddard School® located in Durham. Mehul, his wife Kruti and their son have been Triangle residents since 2001. Mehul runs the school with integrity, sincerity and a genuine concern for the children under his care. His goal is to provide a strong foundation for our children, and is thrilled to be a part of the Durham community. Mehul has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and worked as a senior software developer for more than 12 years. He welcomes you to the School, and thanks you for being a member of the Goddard family!

Tammy is a life long early childhood advocate. She loves serving children, families, and other educators. Tammy is a graduate of UNCG with a BA in Human Development & Family Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She is a Level 3 Administrator with a Master's in Infant/Toddler Learning and is currently in another master’s program at UNCG for Educational Leadership in Administration. She believes in professional development and formal education and that people are always students continuously learning, developing, and growing. To further contribute to the field of early childhood , Tammy is a part of the Legacy Leaders. They are professional presenters with North Carolina Association of the Education of Young Children (NCAEYC) Equity Circle. She presents monthly on the topic of equity in early childhood. Tammy resides in Durham with her husband. They have seven adult children and three grandchild. She loves reading, riding bikes and dancing to all genres of music!

Pallavi has always had the passion to guide and develop people. She has her Bachelor's in Psychology and her Master's in Organizational Leadership. She also has some certification classes in early childhood education. She has been in this field since 2016, and two of those years she spent teaching English in China. She is excited and looking forward to working with the children, teachers and admin at the Goddard school. Pallavi is from Austin, Texas and moved to North Carolina in 2021 from Colorado. She enjoys exploring new places, trying different food, dancing, biking, going to shows, camping/being in mountains and spending time with her husband and their cat!

Ms. Glenda is teaching in our Kicking Kangaroos Infant classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2024! She has EDU certification. Her teaching philosophy is that teaching has a very important role in a child's life, and that teachers are key to a successful education. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her son and going on walks!

Ms. Aaliyah is teaching in our Kicking Kangaroos Infant classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2019! She has various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is to teach with free expression. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and shopping!

Ms. Fatima is teaching in our Kind Koalas Toddler classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is encouragement and growth as she strives to help young learners achieve developmental milestones. When she is not working, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her two girls!

Ms. Pearl is teaching in our Kind Koalas Toddler classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology. Her teaching philosophy is creating a student-centered environment that promotes creativity and exploration while adapting a teaching style to meet diverse needs of students. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends!

Ms. Hemali is teaching in our Playful Panda Toddler classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2018! She has a Master's in Commerce and certification in Abacus and Mental Arithmetic working with young age groups as well as health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is believing in providing a nurturing, child-initiated, play based environment that fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy and acceptance of individual differences. When she is not working, she enjoys listening to music and relaxing!

Ms. Lillian is one of our FLEX teachers and teaching in our Toddler classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2024! She has a Bachelor's in Finance and Economics-Management as well as an Accounting certificate. Her teaching philosophy is by having good interactions wherever the children are in and out of the classrooms, magical things will come from them. When she is not working, she enjoys reading and teaching interesting stories, dancing and singing songs and playing fun games with children!

Ms. Beverly is teaching in our Eager Elephants Twos classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2012! She has a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes that every child has his or her own unique way of learning. When she is not working, she enjoys shopping, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends!

Ms. Alani is teaching in our Eager Elephants Twos classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. Her teaching philosophy is to help children explore the world through their senses while gaining social and emotional stability through learning. When she is not working, she enjoys dancing, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.!

Ms. Siama is teaching in our Perky Penguins Bridge classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2018! She has a Associate's in Early Childhood Education. Her teaching philosophy is giving love first, learning is next. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her children and loves watching TV shows, going to the beach and travelling.

Ms. Seidy is teaching in our Perky Penguins Bridge classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2012! She has a Bachelor's in Education with knowledge in basic computing. Her teaching philosophy is that if you change the way you think, you can do anything in life, so she wants to pass that onto children and teach them positive life skills. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, visiting new places and going to church!

Ms. Doris is teaching in our Friendly Frogs Preschool classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2024! She has a Bachelor's of English, her Master's in teaching English as a second language and EDU credential. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes in the ability of children to make their own choices and it is very important for their development. It is only when they can make their own choices that they are most likely to stimulate their love and interest in things. When they are passionate about something, they can further enjoy the process of learning and cultivate a rich imagination. When she is not working, she enjoys playing piano, making handcrafts, and baking!

Ms. MK is teaching in our Friendly Frogs Preschool classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2019! She is currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill. Her teaching philosophy includes teaching students the Golden Rule of respect, using gentle hands and providing emotionally safe spaces. When she is not working, she enjoys play guitar, roller skating, swimming and she also models!

Ms. Tonya is teaching in our Mighty Moose Preschool classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 1990! She has an Associate's in early childhood and a level II Director's certification. She has also done work with technical assistance and CACFP with local childcare facilities. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes that all children deserve a safe, learning environment with love and respect, and it is her mission to provide that. When she is not working, she enjoys going to the theatre, watching movies and spending time at the beach!

Ms. Luz is teaching in our Mighty Moose Preschool classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2020! She has health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is showing compassion and supporting little ones grow and learn, and she is grateful to God for giving her this opportunity. When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her three children!

Ms. Hua is teaching in our Brave Bears Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2012! She has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and taken various early childhood courses. Her teaching philosophy is to give support and compassion to children and work with them in order to grow. When she is not working, she enjoys watching TV/ the news and traveling!

Ms. Laquonta is teaching in our Brave Bears Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes that children learn through play. When she is not working, she enjoys horror movies and spending time with her family!

Ms. Mirabel is teaching in our Lively Lions Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating, educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her "paw children" and will be having a baby girl soon!

Ms. Ariel is teaching in our Lively Lions Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2019! She has a Bachelor's in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. Her teaching philosophy is integrating classroom management and active learning into a space. She believes that this can create an environment where children can thrive. Having clear expectations and a structured classroom allow students to feel comfortable and confident in taking risks, while active learning keeps them engaged, motivated, and eager to explore new ideas. When she is not working, she enjoys relaxing with her family and friends!

Ms. Vibha is one of our FLEX teachers and works in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2021! She has a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood and currently working on her Master's. Her teaching philosophy is that every child is unique and talented in their own beautiful way, and it is so important to celebrate their uniqueness. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, Bollywood dancing and traveling!

Ms. Khedidja is one of our FLEX teachers and works in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2023 but has taught older children since 1985! She has a computer science background and various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational background where they can grow mentally and emotionally. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and traveling!

Ms. Dianne is one of our FLEX teachers and works in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 1980! She has an EDU credential and various health and safety trainings in Early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that learning is fun and should always be a safe place. When she is not working, she enjoys going on walking trails as well as spending time with her grandchildren!

Ms. Gina is one of our FLEX teachers and works in our kitchen as our food handler. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2019! She has a Bachelor's in anthropology. Her teaching philosophy is that patience and kindness are key when teaching. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, crocheting, playing video games, and cats!

Ms. Victoria is one of our FLEX teachers and works in various classrooms. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2024! She has various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes in making sure that children have fun as they are continually learning. When she is not working, she enjoys reading walking, talking to her parents, watching movies, and singing!

Ms. Megan is one of our ITERS teachers. She has been teaching in early childhood since 2022! She has a Associate's in General Studies with a certification in nursing and various health and safety trainings in early childhood. Her teaching philosophy is that she believes that they are all unique young individuals, and her approach will be unique as well. When she is not working, she enjoys working under her artist name of LunaHugs Glass, where “Broken is Beautiful” and favorite muses are cats!
