Meet Laura Owner

We are so excited to be the owners of The Goddard School of Oxford! I am the on-site owner and Trevor is very involved as well. Raising our own young children and our love for family brought us to The Goddard School. We have seen the positive impact early education has made in the lives of our own children and look forward to fostering the love of learning while providing a safe, nurturing environment for your children.

From infants and toddlers to pre-K, kindergarten and beyond, our classrooms are designed specifically with your little one’s needs in mind.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

What made us choose Goddard School over other day care choices were a number of things. The security, cleanliness, and professional/friendly staff were among the top reasons. We also appreciated meeting with one of the owners for our interview. This helped reassure us that the facility was properly run and that we could trust Goddard School with our child. I also really like the tadpoles app which is beneficial for info transfer and record keeping.

Preschool Classroom

The center is very clean. The infant room teachers are very caring. They treat the babies as if they were their own. They go to great lengths to keep the babies on a similar schedule to their home schedule. The security of how we check in and out our children, as well as how we enter the building is excellent. We've been at other centers where the technology was always failing. It's never happened once at Goddard. We are always greeted by someone at the front desk every morning.
