As the first Goddard School in Michigan, Kellie was so proud to build and open The Goddard School in Lake Orion in 2007. She has been a part of the Lake Orion/Rochester area her entire life and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool education for the children of her community. Kellie’s passion for educating and caring for children is prevalent the moment you enter her school. It also shows in her charitable work with local children’s charities that share her passion for the importance of high quality early childhood education. Kellie has a BA in Pre-law/Political Science and was also a collegiate tennis player. Her past entrepreneurial business background consisted of owning businesses in real estate, land development and construction.

Emily is the Director of Education. She has a Bachelor's degree in Family Studies from Central Michigan University. She has been with The Goddard School since 2009. She is always enthusiastic about working closely with parents to bring growth, discovery and significance to each child.

I am the Assistant Director here at The Goddard School of Lake Orion. I have my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakland Community College with a minor in American Sign Language Studies. I have been working in Early Childhood since 2010. I enjoy spending time with my family on the weekend. I look forward to working with your family in ensuring that you receive the high quality of care your family deserves!

Miss Ania is a Lead Teacher in the Infant Classroom and has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2016. Ania is currently working towards her Early Childhood Credential and is eager to learn all she can to help in children's development. Her favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

My name is Ms. Anna, I am a Lead Teacher in the Infant classroom and having been working in Early Childhood since 2022! I am currently working towards my Early Childhood Credential . I enjoy dancing and being silly with the children while we listen to music and my favorite book to read in the classroom is “Bubble Bubbles”!

Cody is the Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. She has been working as a childcare professional since 2007 and has her Child Development Associates. Cody is full of energy, ideas and has quickly proven herself to be an outstanding lead. She is loving, fun and brings much joy to the First Steps room.

Krista is the Lead teacher in the Toddler I classroom. She has her B.S. in Early Childhood Education and has been working as a childcare professional since 1998. She loves working with children because it is rewarding to see them learn something new everyday. Krista's creativity and passion to teach have helped to establish her as a great asset to our young toddler class.

Miss Karlie is the Lead teacher in the Toddler II classroom. She has been working as a childcare professional since 2013. She is attending Baker College to obtain her Early Childhood degree. She thinks all children are special and can learn from each other as well as their teachers.

Michelle is an Assistant Teacher in the Infant classroom. She has been working with children since 1998 and is very excited to be part of The Goddard School team. Ms. Michelle has always loved children and feels teaching is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can have.

My name is Ms. Kelly, I am the Lead Teacher in the Preschool I room! I have been working with children since 2022 and love reading books in the classroom! My favorite children's book is "Hop on Pop" by Dr. Seuss!

Melissa is the lead teacher in the Preschool II classroom. She joined the Goddard School in 2014 and is currently attending OCC to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Development. She has a lot of fun energy and loves to engage the children in learning activities.

Ms. Michelle is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool I classroom. She has been working with children since 2016. Michelle is currently working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a very calm, patient teacher. She loves to help the children discover new concepts.

I am the Lead Teacher in the Junior Kindergarten Classroom! I have been working with children since 2004, I have a Masters in Arts and am currently working towards my Early Childhood Credential. My favorite activity to do with children is play games outside!

Miss Bethany is the Assistant Teacher in the Toddler II Classroom. She has been working with children since 2012 and is currently working towards her degree in Elementary Education from Indiana Baptist Online College. Miss Bethany loves reading books with children and her favorite is Pete The Cat and His White Shoes by Eric Litwin.

My name is Ms. Sydney, I am an Assistant Teacher in the First Steps classroom and have been working with children since 2023! I enjoy singing with the children while rocking them to sleep and my favorite song is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”

Miss Abbey is an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool II Classroom. She has been working with children since 2020 and is full of energy! She loves to dance and sing with the kids to get their bodies moving!

Miss Emma is an Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School of Lake Orion. She is attending the University of Michigan for Early Childhood Education. She believes that children enjoy learning and want to keep learning when it's done in a fun, engaging manner.

Miss Abby is an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler I Classroom! She has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2023 and enjoys dancing with the children to all types of music! Miss Abby's favorite book to read with children is Bully Shark.

Ms. Alayna is the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool II classroom. She has been working with children since 2012. She is currently attending Oakland University to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. She believes that children have creative minds and thrive in a nurturing environment. Her favorite children's book is "Where's Spot?" by Eric Hill.

Miss Alexis is an Assistant Teacher in the Get Set Classroom! She has been working with children since 2023 and enjoys exploring the outdoors with them any chance she gets! Miss Alexis' favorite book to read with the class is Pete The Cat!

I am an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler II Classroom. I have been working with children since 2009 and my favorite children's book is Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle. I love reading books with the children and singing songs during music time!

Ms. Chloe is an assistant teacher in the Get Set classroom. She joined the Goddard team in 2020. Chloe has experience working with children in a church nursery setting. She is attending Macomb Community College to obtain a degree in Psychology. She loves to have fun with the children.

Miss Hannah is the lead teacher in the PreK classroom. Hannah has a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from Rochester College. She has been an Early Childhood Educator since 2014 and she joined the Goddard team in 2016. Hannah is a wonderful teacher, she brings great joy into the First Steps program.

Miss Jenna is an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler I Classroom! She has been working in Early Childhood since 2022 and loves reading books with the children! Her favorite children's book is Pout Pout Fish.

Miss McKenna is an Assistant Teacher in the Infant classroom and has been working with children since 2021. McKenna has plans of attending college for her degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves singing songs with the children and one of her favorite songs to sing is "Baby Shark"!

Miss Avalon is an Assistant teacher in the Toddler II Classroom and has been working with children since 2017. Avalon loves dancing with children and singing silly songs whenever she has a chance! Her favorite book to read with children is The Napping House.

Miss Priyanka is an Assistant Teacher in our Junior Kindergarten Classroom and has been working with children since 2021. Priyanka is constantly reintroducing new activities to the classroom to keep children engaged in the learning process! Priyanka's favorite book to read to children is "Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus"!

Miss Cynthia is our Spanish Resource Teacher! Cynthia visits our older classrooms three times a week and creates exciting lesson plans to assist the children in learning Spanish as a second language! Cynthia is a very creative person and brings an electric energy into the classroom when she visits which keeps children engaged during the entire lesson!
