Our Goddard School Teachers

If you spend any time at The Goddard Schools of Columbia or Maple Lawn, you’ll quickly notice something special — a feeling of warmth, welcome, and genuine care that seems to wrap around every child, every teacher, and every family who walks through the doors. As the owners, we feel that is our job every day. Our journey to Goddard grew from a passion for creating warm, joyful places where children can learn, explore, and feel deeply cared for. For us, Goddard isn’t just a business. It’s a calling. We believe that children flourish when they are surrounded by love, guided by nurturing teachers, and encouraged to explore the world with confidence. We believe in building schools that feel like family and that community is something you create — through kindness, connection, and showing up for people day after day. Our story is woven into every classroom, every event, every smiling face at Columbia and Maple Lawn. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Ms. Dana joined the Goddard School in 2026. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education Administration from University of Arizona Global Campus • Medication Administration • Basic Health and Safety Certified • First Aid and CPR Certified Before joining Goddard, Dana was a Center Director with Bright Horizons and A Whole New World Academy in New Jersey. Ms. Dana has worked with children since 1998. She believes that every child thrives in a safe, nurturing environment where strong relationships, play based learning, and family partnerships inspire lifelong success. Her favorite children’s book is “The Napping House” by Audrey Wood. When not at school, Dana enjoys dancing, crafting, reading, and relaxing.

Ms. Kelly joined the Goddard School in 2026. Educational Qualifications: • Master of Science in Child Development from Texas Woman’s University • Bachelor of Science in Development and Family Studies from University of North Texas • Medication Administration • Basic Health and Safety Certified • First Aid and CPR Certified Before joining Goddard, Kelly Instructional Coach and Center Director with Bright Horizons and Learning Care Group. She has seven years of classroom teaching experience as well. Ms. Kelly has worked with children for since 2012. She believes early childood education is a vital component of a child's development with on learning through play experiences. Through these early experiences, she believes that children develop the skills to grow in their fullest potential. Her favorite children’s book is “Little Blue Truck” by Alice Shertle. When not at school, Kelly enjoys spending time with family, reading, playing games, baking, and working on puzzles
