Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Claire is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in White Marsh. She joined The Goddard School in April 2011, beginning her journey as a Bridge teacher and gaining her first classroom experience after graduating from college. From 2012 to 2026, she served as the Director of Education, where she supported both students and faculty in creating a nurturing, high-quality learning environment. Ms. Claire holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education. She also maintains her 99-hour Preschool and 45-hour Infant/Toddler certifications. Ms. Claire is passionate about working with children and finds great joy in watching them grow, learn, and discover new skills each day. She looks forward to coming to school every day and values the strong relationships she builds with both the children and their families.

Ms. Angela serves as the Director of Operations at The Goddard School in White Marsh. She joined the school in June 2019 and brings over two decades of experience working with children in both teaching and administrative roles, beginning her career in 2002. Ms. Angela holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has completed her 99-hour Preschool and 45-hour Infant/Toddler certifications. She is passionate about supporting children as they develop their unique personalities and interests. Ms. Angela enjoys coming to work each day and values the opportunity to collaborate with teachers while building meaningful relationships with the children and their families.

Ms. Sara serves as the Director of Education at The Goddard School in White Marsh. She brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education and school leadership, including five years as a Pre-K teacher and several years in administrative roles supporting teachers, children, and families. Ms. Sara holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Reading Education and has completed her 45-hour Infant/Toddler and 90-hour Preschool/Pre-K certifications. Ms. Sara is passionate about fostering a love of learning and supporting each child's educational journey. She is inspired by the curiosity and enthusiasm children bring to the classroom each day and enjoys helping them reach new milestones, develop new skills, and build confidence as they grow. Ms. Sara values the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and partner with families to create meaningful learning experiences that help every child thrive.

Ms. Summer serves as the Office Assistant at The Goddard School in White Marsh. She joined our school in November 2021 and brings many years of experience working with children. During her time at The Goddard School, Ms. Summer spent nearly five years as a Lead Teacher in the toddler program before transitioning into her administrative role. She has completed her 99-hour Preschool Certification and 45-hour Infant & Toddler Certification. Ms. Summer is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels seen, valued, and supported. She cherishes the small but meaningful moments throughout the day—whether sharing a smile, offering encouragement, or simply being a trusted and positive presence for the children. Ms. Summer loves building strong connections with children, families, and staff and takes pride in helping create a welcoming school community where everyone can thrive.
