The Goddard School of Charlestown is a warm and nurturing space where extraordinary awaits your child each and every day.

Located in the heart of the Navy Yard, our state-of-the-art facility is designed to foster growth, curiosity, and creativity. Our curriculum focuses on academic, social, and emotional development to prepare your child for a lifetime of success. We proudly serve families from Charlestown, Somerville, Chelsea, and surrounding communities for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We offer high-quality childcare and preschool programs led by experienced educators.

Meet Mark

Meet Mark

Co-Owner
Mark Anthony Hunter is the co-owner of The Goddard School of Charlestown along with his wife, Johann. They have a daughter and two young sons. They recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Mark and Johann are excited to be able to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in the community. Their goal is to be a resource for families as well as a school community where parents can share information and learn from each other. Favorite children's book: Grace for President by Kelly DiPucchio.
