    Owner
    With several years as a Corporate Human Resource Executive, Barbara has spent the last fourteen years as The Goddard School franchise owner in Edwardsville, and three years as The Goddard School franchise owner in Springfield, Illinois. Additionally, she mentors family members at Goddard Lee’s Summit Lakewood when necessary. She has served on several community boards and is a Springfield Rotary member (Paul Harris Fellow Award Recipient). Born in Wisconsin, Barbara enjoys many outdoor activities to include running, snowmobiling and ice fishing.

    Director of Operations
    Miss Brenda currently resides in Auburn, Illinois with her 3 children and husband. Brenda grew up in Springfield and graduated from Southeast High School. She got her bachelor's degree from SIUE where she majored in elementary education. Brenda has been working in the early childhood field off and on for 15 years. During this time, she gained 2 years of experience as a director at a childcare facility. Brenda is excited to join the Goddard family because she loves making community connections and differences in the lives of young children.

    Lead Teacher
    Lisa holds an associate degree from Robert Morris University and has taken several early childhood education courses. Ms. Lisa comes to us with over 15 years of experience working with children. She especially enjoys working with infants. Ms. Lisa is trained in SIDS, SBS, Severe Allergy Treatment, and CPR/First Aid. In Ms. Lisa's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking vacations and attending St. Louis Blues Games. Lisa volunteers as a nursery teacher at her church where she also directs the vacation bible school held there during the summer.

    Teacher Assistant
    Miss Serenity resides in Pana with family. She grew up in Pana and graduated from Pana High School. Serenity has been in education for less than a year. Serenity is certified in first aid and CPR. She is also trained in shaken baby syndrome, SIDS trauma informed practice, and welcoming each child. Miss Serenity also has her food handler's certification. She is excited to join the Goddard family because of the valuable experience she is gaining for her future teaching career!

    Brittany is the lead teacher in our toddler classroom. She comes to us with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been working in childcare for 7 years with a variety of age groups. In her free time Brittany enjoys spending time with her son and family.

    Miss Shanera currently resides in Springfield with her cat, Cleo. Shanera grew up in Springfield and graduated from McKendree University. Miss Shanera has been in education for five years. She is certified in first aid and CPR. Shanera is also trained in shaken baby syndrome, SIDS, trauma informed practice, and welcoming each child. Miss Shanera also has her food handler's certification. Shanera is excited to join the Goddard family because she enjoys teaching and creating fun activities.

    Faybryanna comes to us new to the childcare industry and is actively pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate, sponsored by The Goddard School. Faybryanna is trained in SIDS, SBS, Severe Allergy Treatment and CPR/First Aid. Her favorite children's book is "Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister.

    Miss Macy currently resides in Springfield with her cat, Abbi. Macy grew up in Loami and graduated from New Berlin High School. She has been in education for three years. Miss Macy is certified in first aid and CPR. She is also trained in shaken baby syndrome, SIDS, trauma informed practice, and welcoming each child. Miss Macy also has her food handler's certification. She is excited to join the Goddard family because she loves working with children, watching them grow and learn.

    Tara obtained her Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate from the state of Illinois and comes with over 22 years of experience working with children. Tara is trained in SIDS, SBS, Severe Allergy Treatment, and CPR/First Aid. In Tara's free time she enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

    Rebekah holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development. She comes to us with several years of experience working with kids. Rebekah most enjoys working with 2 year old's.     Stephanie holds an associate degree in applied science and an associate degree in arts. She comes to us with over 20 years' experience working with children. Stephanie loves working with pre-kindergarten aged children and is passionate about preparing them to be school ready! Ms. Stephanie is trained in SIDS, SBS, Severe Allergy Treatment and CPR/First Aid.

    Mathew is currently an assistant in our pre-kindergarten classroom. Mathew is an Eagle Scout and brings his love of music to his role at our school. He is currently pursuing his Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate sponsored by the Goddard School. Additional trainings and certificates: in SIDS, SBS, and is continuing his professional development through Goddard University.

She is excited to join the Goddard family because she loves working with children!

Miss Serenity also has her food handler's certification. Ashley is excited to join the Goddard family because she loves children and helping teach the future generations to come.

    Miss Carissa resides in Sherman with her parents, 3 sisters, and dog named Oakley. She grew up in Sherman and graduated from Williamsville High School. Carissa has been in education for two years. Carissa is certified in first aid and CPR. She is also trained in shaken baby syndrome, SIDS trauma informed practice, and welcoming each child. Miss Carissa also has her food handler's certification. She is excited to join the Goddard family because she loves watching kids grow and making a positive impact on the development and education of young children.

    Educational Resource Specialist
    Jeanette is a retired elementary school teacher, with over 35 years experience in the field of education. During her career in education, she has worked as a classroom teacher and as a Literacy Coach, working with teachers to elevate and enrich the level of instruction within the classroom. She has also worked as a Literacy Interventionist, working with students in small groups and in one-on-one situations. In addition to her Educator's Teaching License, she holds a Reading Specialist Certificate and a Certificate in Reading Recovery. She is trained in SBS and SIDS, and she also holds a Food Handler's License.

    Miss Audri currently resides in Chatham, IL. with her partner. She graduated from Springfield High School. Audri has been in education for one year. Audri is certified in first aid and CPR. Miss Audri is excited to join the Goddard family because she enjoys working with children and seeing them smile.

Miss Raye is excited to join the Goddard family because she is excited to learn different ways of teaching.
