Our Goddard School Teachers

Pete has proudly owned and led our school since 2010, bringing a strong commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Originally from Minnesota, Pete earned his Bachelor's degree from Bemidji State University, where he developed the foundation for his leadership and commitment to education. His vision and dedication have helped shape the school into a place where children receive exceptional care and meaningful learning experiences.

Emily is the owner of The Goddard School Shiloh, having assumed the role in August 2024. Prior to this, she served as the Director of Education at The Goddard School from January 2015 to August 2024. Her tenure with the organization began as a teacher in July 2010. In addition to her role at The Goddard School, Emily has been the owner of SkateTech Skate Sharpening & Equipment Repair since May 2018. Driven by her passion for both education and business, Emily is a passionate entrepreneur and advocate dedicated to bringing high-quality educational and sports opportunities to youth. With a strong belief that both education and physical activity play pivotal roles in the holistic development of children, Emily combines her expertise in early childhood education with her love for sports to create initiatives that support young people in all areas of life.

Moriah has been a valued member of our school community since 2018. Throughout her journey, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and a deep commitment to supporting children, families, and staff. She began her career as an Assistant Teacher before advancing to Lead Teacher, then served as our Closing Director, where she helped ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the school. In recognition of her outstanding commitment to excellence in the classroom, Moriah was honored as our 2024 Teacher of the Year. Today, as our Director of Operations, she oversees school operations with a focus on creating a positive, organized, and welcoming environment for everyone. Her experience across multiple roles gives her a unique understanding of every aspect of our program, making her an invaluable leader and trusted resource for our team and the families we serve.

Mrs. Tamiya has been a dedicated member of The Goddard School family since 2013, when she began her journey as a Lead Teacher. Through her passion for early childhood education, commitment to excellence, and strong leadership, she has grown into her current role as Director of Education. In recognition of her outstanding dedication to children, families, and fellow educators, Mrs. Tamiya was honored as The Goddard School of Shiloh's 2020 Teacher of the Year. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is certified in Food Service Sanitation, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Prevention, Infant Safe Sleep, and First Aid & CPR. Mrs. Tamiya is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality learning environment where children can thrive. She is committed to supporting teachers, partnering with families, and ensuring every child receives the best possible early education experience.
