Meet Venki Owner
Venki is the Owner of The Goddard School located in Elgin. Her connection to education began with her very first job and was shaped by growing up in a home where learning was always at the center. Influenced by her father, a retired professor, she developed a deep respect for teaching and child development—values that continue to guide her work with children and families today.
With a strong foundation in education and experience in organizational leadership, she is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing, and high quality early childhood environment. She believes that caring for children’s hearts, minds, and curiosity lays the foundation for their future success. This commitment, together with her passion for supporting families, inspires her to offer the BEST early childhood education program.

Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Twos
2 - 3 yrs
In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.
Bridge
2.5 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs

The teachers and staff all take great care of my children. Whenever I’m in there, everyone knows all the kids and greets them by name. My kids love attending Goddard School and speak highly of their teachers. My son even said he wants to work at Goddard when he’s older. The facility is clean, and the kids learn so much from the curriculum. It's a place I feel safe and happy sending my kids.

It’s been a wonderful experience from day 1. Our child has learnt a lot of skills all thanks to the school. We are always worry free when we drop off our child at school knowing he will have the best day there.
