Our Goddard School Teachers

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve the Newnan community as the owner of The Goddard School of Newnan. As a Georgia native, Newnan has been home to my family for more than 20 years. My husband, Brian, and I have had the joy of raising our family here, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to invest in the children and families of the community that has given so much to us. Serving Newnan is more than my career—it is my calling. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Point University and a Master of Science in Early Childhood Studies, and I bring more than 22 years of experience in early childhood education, serving as a teacher, director, minister, and mentor. I believe the strongest foundation for a child's success is built through meaningful partnerships between families and educators. My commitment is to work alongside parents, support our exceptional teaching team, and create a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels known, valued, and inspired.

Hi! I'm Sandra Rivera. Proud of my Puerto Rican heritage and deeply rooted in Georgia, I bring my cultural background and love for my community into the relationships I build with children, families, and educators. While I came to Newnan because I fell in love, I stayed because I fell in love with this community. Newnan has become home, and that's one of the many reasons I am honored to be part of bringing The Goddard School to this incredible city. After 7 yrs as an elementary educator, I felt called to rediscover the purpose that first drew me to teaching. That search for my "why" led me to The Goddard School of Peachtree City, where I rekindled my passion for early childhood education. Today, I am excited to carry that passion forward as the Director of The Goddard School of Newnan. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the families of this community.
