I am very excited and proud to be the on-site owner of the new Goddard School located in West Cobb. As a mother of two children, I recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. I first discovered Goddard in 2003, when I was looking for a preschool for my oldest son. The quality of education offered at Goddard school combined with our personal experience enabled us to choose Goddard. My husband and I believe that a quality Early Childhood education helps in providing a strong foundation for every child.

I am Stephanie Carter, the Preschool 1 Lead Teacher. I am a mother of 5 adult children and 2 grandchildren. I have been a childcare educator for over 20yrs. I enjoy being able to witness children learn in different ways. I believe my biggest contribution in childcare is understanding that every child is unique and each child learns differently than others. In my spare time, I love reading, shopping, sports and live music.

My name is Roshunda Johnson I am the Assistant Director at The Goddard School of West Cobb. I have nearly ten years of experience working in Early Childhood education and have my Child Development Associate. I have work with all of the different age groups. I am originally from Mississippi and I moved to Georgia in 2010 with my family.

My name is Alexis Douglas Brinn. I obtained a Bachelors Degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University In Fine Arts and a Minor in Graphics in 2005. I obtained and maintain my Child Development Association Certification concentration in Pre-K through Kindergarten in 2007. I have been a teacher for 13 years and a program coordinator for a very large after-school program for two out of my 13 years of teaching. I have worked with and taught Pre-K as well as school-age children throughout my time of teaching. I am a very organized, diverse and loving, passionate teacher. I Love inspiring my students through science and engineering projects as well as art. I look forward to being your child’s Kindergarten teacher for the 2020 -2021 school year!

My name is Elizabeth Craig. I come to Goddard with a Bachelor's Degree. I have been educating in this field of Early Childhood Education since 2000. I joined Goddard in 2013. In addition to teaching children, I am also a mother to two teenage daughters. I want the children in my care to learn respect for themselves and others and confidence in their abilities. I am thrilled to be at The Goddard School as the lead Pre-kindergarten teacher.

My name is Miss Shaun. I am the lead teacher in the Infant classroom. I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2004. I have been with Goddard since 2014.Teaching young children has always been a passion for me. I was born in the West Indies. I have a husband, three kids and a dog. In my spare time I love shopping, listening to reggae and calypso music. I also love to cut hair and I have a cosmetology license!I hold a CDA credential.I am continuing my education online at Grand Canyon University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I am very happy to be a part of The Goddard School family.

My name is Shawnette and I go by Ms.Shawny to my little ones. I am a mother of 3 daughters! I have my CDA and have worked in early childhood education for many years. I currently work with students that are 2 1/2. I love to help them explore their environment and establish their independence.
