    I am very excited and proud to be the on-site owner of Goddard School in Cumming North area located on Freedom Parkway. As a working mother of two boys, I recognized the importance of having a quality pre-school for my boys. I have a Bachelor’s in Finance & Computer Science. I also have a CDA and TCC in early childhood program management. Our highly qualified teachers provide the best STEAM & Enrichment based preschool preparation. Our focus is not only on academic skills but also on the social, emotional, and physical development of your child. We want to provide the children in our school with the best possible care in a safe, healthy, and fun-loving environment.     Mrs. Tamea has been with The Goddard School since August 2022. She has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2012. She graduated in 2018 with her Early Childhood Degree and has specialized in special education. Mrs. Tamea enjoys working with children because of the positive impact that teaching has on their lives. She uses her creativity to create our monthly calendars and to help involve families in our school. She also loves helping students to understand a new concept, and witnessing the impact that she brings to the school to help all students and families. As a leader of the school, she knows that she has the opportunity to establish or enhance the school to make everyone feel welcome.

    Lead Infant 1 Teacher
    Meet Mrs. Catherin! Mrs. Catherin started her career in HR and went to being a stay at home for 5 years with her kids, who are now 4 and 7. Once her kids started school, she wanted to be the person that a mother trusted to leave her baby and go back to work, hence starting the journey of a preschool teacher last year in August. Her journey has been nothing but pure bliss. Outside of work, she enjoy creating videos and capturing moments. With a loving spouse and two young kids, family is her greatest joy.

    Meet Miss. Peyton! She is the new teacher in the Infant 2 classroom. She has had a passion to work with children since her early teenage years and still enjoys it. Miss. Peyton is a certified teacher and is currently continuing her education in Early Childhood.

    Meet Mrs. Asha. She has my bachelor's degree in (CSE) Computer Science & Engineering. She is really excited to begin the next chapter of my teaching career at The Goddard School of Cumming. I am the proud mother of two young boys and a dedicated wife to my husband. I strive to make a difference and am fortunate to continue teaching.

    Meet Miss. Salina, she has been working in childcare for over seven years. She has been here at Goddard for three years now. She has a newborn son and a daughter who both attend The Goddard School. Miss. Salina has worked in all classrooms and does very well in potty training. She is CPR certified and is preparing for her CDA or TCC.

    Meet Madi she is the newest teacher for toddlers at Goddard. Her goal is to become a real estate agent. I am a graduate student from South Forsyth. I play drums and golf I also love coffee. Since starting at Goddard Madi's love for children has grown. One of her favorite things to do is to love on her students and making sure that they are learning and growing each day.

    Rama is one of our toddler teachers. She has a bachelor's degree in information technology. She is just starting her childcare career here with us. So far, she enjoys, "working with the kids in her class and making a difference in their lives and enjoy seeing them smile." We are happy to have her here at Goddard Cumming North!

    Meet Mrs. Hari she is encouraged that this is going to be a great year for all of her students to grow and learn together. Before joining here, she was teaching kids in India and helped my community people with day care. She finished her bachelor’s in computer science in JNTU university. Mrs. Hari has assistant professor experience in engineering college. She loves Halloween and thanksgiving she also loves to visit the beaches. And she's the proud mother of two kids.

    Meet Miss. Deanna, she is new to GA with just moving here from CA last year. She has a AS degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently working on her Teaching Credentials in Elementary Education and Special Education. Miss. Deanna has two children of my own, a son and a daughter. She has always enjoyed working with children and have worked in both public school and private childcare centers. She believes that she has just as much to learn from the children as they have to learn from her. She loves watching how excited they become when they master something new.

    Early Preschool Lead Teacher
    Mrs. Savannah is the Lead Toddler teacher in our Early Preschool classroom. She has been employed with Goddard for four years. She has worked with all different age's groups from Infants to After-school! When asked what she loves most about childcare, she says “Getting to know each and every child in my class and what is unique about them.” She’s loves to watch them grow and learn while they are in her care, and she loves watching the kids show their creativity through art. Mrs. Savannah is CPR and First Aid certified. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, go shopping and explore the outdoors. She is a devoted mom, police wife and dog mom! We are so happy to have her here at Goddard Cumming North! She looks forward to meeting you!

    Meet Mrs. Raji! She is married with 2 children. She loves teaching as well as learning. It has been an honor for her to be here at Goddard. Mrs. Raji has been here for a year now and I love it. She loves music and food, so she is always open to something new to eat. She takes great care of all my Goddard students.

    Meet Miss. Zee, she has been in childcare development for a few years. She has worked with children through her hometown church for 6 years. She plans to continue to work in childcare development while also pursuing an education for a teaching degree. With that being she aspire to travel the world teaching English to other children of all ages in different countries. She enjoys shopping, eating, dancing, going to concerts and spending quality time with my loved ones.

    Meet Ms. Andrea she has been with Goddard a year in our private Pre-K program. She has grown tremendously since working with her lead teacher. She is a mother and grandmother who adores children. Her passion with children has grown since she has started here. She treats all children with love and respect. She loves to see each child grow and doesn't give up on them no matter where they are.

    Hello all! My name is Lori Brown and I'm am so very excited to join the Goddard teaching team this year as a Georgia Pre-K assistant. I have fifteen years of teaching experience within the prekindergarten level. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities. Both of which I earned at Florida state university. I've held positions in the past as both a Lead and Assistant Ga Prek teacher at another local school in the area. I currently live in Forsyth county with my husband and my three daughters. Proudly, my oldest daughter has followed in my footsteps and has started her career in teaching this year. My middle daughter is studying business at Georgia college and my youngest is graduating high school this year. In my free time I love to exercise and spend tine with family. I love working with children of this age and seeing the growth and progress they make throughout the year. It is a joy to see all of their adorable little face

    Mrs. Edwards is our Prekindergarten Lead teacher, she is innovative and passionate about her responsibilities of educating all students. After retiring from the United States Navy, Mrs. Edwards started House of Fun and Phonics Preschool in Brunswick, ME of which she owned and operated for ten years. Mrs. Edwards relocated to California MD, and immediately started working at Lexington Park Elementary School. Ultimately, the Edwards family decided to retire in Georgia, where Mrs. Edwards began working as a substitute teacher in Gwinnett County until accepting the position of Private Prekindergarten Lead Teacher Johns Creek Kiddy Academy. Mrs. Edwards received her education at The University College, Adelphia MD in Social Science Bachelors, Minor in Business Administration, and Associate of Art.

    Meet Mrs. Alma, she goes by Jessie. She was born in Mexico but grew up in Cumming and graduated from Forsyth Central High School. She lived in Gwinnett County until 3 years ago. She has a 5-year-old son. On her free time, she like to hike and swim and craft.

    Meet Mrs. Bhawna, she has completed my bachelor's degree in arts. She has been working with Goddard for the past year, and absolutely love it! She believes that the early years are some of the most important in a child's development. Bhawna is committed to providing them with the best possible start. She's passionate about creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for my students. She believes that all children learn and grow at their own pace, and very patient and understanding. She's also creative and innovative, and always looking for new ways to engage with students and help them learn. In Bhawna's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, dancing and cooking. Mrs. Bhawna is excited to be a part of the team at Goddard and to help the children in each class reach their full potential.
