Our Goddard School Teachers

Hello! My name is Mr. Shawn. My wife Pam and I are opening this new location in Hamlin. We are the proud owners of The Goddard School in Winter Garden, which we opened in 2019. We have three children, Shelby, Ryan and Lexi who are all graduates of our program. We founded our first school over 25 years ago. Our school opening in Spring 2026 represents all the things we learned over the years. We were able to incorporate all of our desires into this one-of-a-kind facility. It truly is a campus as opposed to your typical childcare center. We have six separate secure playgrounds that have specialized surfacing to allow our children to spend more time outside. During a tour of our facility, you can see these and many other features that make our program so special. But the heart of our program is the experienced and talented faculty that deliver cutting edge education programs for your child. We hope you can come by and tour our existing school soon!

I am a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with over 25 years in the Early Childhood Field and 15 years of leadership experience Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of leading large early learning programs, supporting multi-site operations, and mentoring diverse teams of educators. I am knowledgeable in accreditation processes, state-funded programs, budgeting, enrollment management, staff credentialing, and early childhood standards and educational philosophies. I believe strongly in developmentally appropriate practice and creating learning environments that nurture the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. I work closely with my teams to ensure we meet and exceed all state and agency standards while maintaining a warm, engaging, and high-quality learning experience. As an intrinsically motivated leader, I am committed to continuous personal and professional growth so I can best support our school community and help every child thrive.

Hello! My name is Jennifer. I bring more than 26 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, customer service, and business management. I hold a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and have dedicated my career to building high-quality, compliant, and family-centered learning environments. Throughout my career, I Jennifer have led large early childhood programs serving more than 300 children, supported multiple school locations in achieving and maintaining accreditation and regulatory excellence. I have extensive experience in curriculum development, staff coaching, operational leadership, and quality assurance. I am passionate about fostering strong partnerships with families, mentoring educators, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

Hello! My name is Tasha. I am the Business Manager here at The Goddard School in Winter Garden. The early childhood education field has always been my passion. I received my degree in childhood education, focusing on special needs in Bristol, England where I was born until moving to Orlando over 25 years ago. I bring 35+ years of experience, including roles such as Teacher, Administration, Enrollment, Retention and Managerial. My Husband, Kendrick and I have four daughters, Paige, Kimberly, Shannon, and Alexandria. We also have four Grand daughters aged between and two Grandsons. In my free time I can be seen walking, bike riding, in the gym or spending time with our Grandchildren. I am blessed to be a part of the Goddard family, and look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful school and being a part of the growth and development of your little ones.
