    My name is Brianna Wilson-Mathney. I am extremely excited to be joining the Goddard School of South Tampa as your Executive Director. I studied Early Childhood Education at Florida Gulf Coast University. I am originally from Naples, FL and have lived in the Tampa area for over 10 years. I have two wonderful children, my son Leon and my daughter Melody. I’ve always had a passion for teaching and love watching children discover and learn about the world around them. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new parks, reading, and wandering through craft festivals.

    Hi, I’m Hannah, Assistant Director at The Goddard School of Westshore! I have worked with children in many different roles throughout my life, including babysitting, nannying, and teaching, and supporting children and families has always been a passion of mine. I hold a Master’s degree in Hispanic Studies and am excited to transition into early childhood education leadership. I’m also a Goddard parent—my son, Jonah, is a student here, which makes this community especially meaningful to me. I have lived in New York and North Carolina and have called Tampa home since 2023, when my husband, Josh, and I moved here for his surgical residency at USF. In my free time, I love reading romance, fantasy, and mystery novels. My favorite children’s books are Goodnight Gorilla and Dandelion Magic.

    Hello, My name is Linda Acosta. I was born in the Bronx, New York, and grew up in Puerto Rico. I am happily married, a mother of three, and a grandmother of five. I have been working in this profession, which I love for, 25 years, during which I earned my Child Development Associate and my Director Credentials. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, camping, and spending time with my family. I look forward to being part of your children’s early education here at The Goddard School!

    Hello my name is a Dan Scott, I started teaching about 11 years ago right here in the Tampa Bay Area, graduating from Brewster Technical college with my certificate in early childhood education. I enjoy swimming, reading, eating and pickleball will be on this list in due time.

    My name is Marissa Luckey and I have collectively taught for a little less than three years with the focus being the younger grades. I also have my degree in early education. Being the second eldest of 13, I like to believe I have always had this passion for caregiving! In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors; hiking, fishing, gardening, swimming in any body of water, camping etc. Otherwise I'm writing or sketching, crafting, playing a board or video game or trying to learn a new skill.

    I am originally from Venezuela and have lived in Tampa for almost five years. I have 21 years of experience in early childhood education and hold a degree in Preschool Education. Working with young children has been my passion since the beginning of my career, and I feel grateful every day for the opportunity to help them learn, grow, and shine. I love creating a classroom filled with music, laughter, creativity, and love. I believe children learn best in an environment where they feel happy, safe, and valued, and I am passionate about helping each child build strong habits, self-confidence, and a love for learning while celebrating their unique personality. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking delicious desserts and I am always excited to learn new things.

    I’m originally from Tampa, Florida and I have been working in childcare since 2009. I believe every child is unique, capable and worthy of love, patience and encouragement. My classroom is a safe space where mistakes help us grow and kindness matters. Outside of the classroom, I love creating sweet treats for family and friends while running my baking business on the side.
