I am so pleased to be part of the amazing team at The Goddard School here in Wilton, since August 2018. I enjoy spending my days in the classroom helping children prepare for kindergarten through curriculum-based plans full of song, creative arts, collaboration and incidental teaching. I enjoy fostering relationships with students of varied abilities and partnering with administration, peers and parents to ensure I do the most I can for each child. Building relationships on trust and caring is the most rewarding facet of my time spent in the classroom.
I have degrees in English and Journalism from the University of Connecticut and found my way into the education system through my children. When they were both in school full time, I began working in the public schools as a literacy para so I could share their schedule. From that point on I was hooked, and when my family moved to Maine, I became a Pre-K teacher at a private center. I am so happy to be back in this setting and look forward to the opportunity to work with your children.
**Ms. Jen was our Teacher of The Year in 2021! She went on to win the Goddard School Northeast Region Teacher of The Year, and we are SO proud!!
