    We are happy to introduce Debbie Lee, the onsite owner of The Goddard School® located at 385 Danbury Road in Wilton, Connecticut. Debbie has earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University. Debbie and her husband are the parents to children, who have attended The Goddard School. Their childrens’ positive experience is what inspired Debbie to open a Goddard School of her own. She recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes creativity and fun. “We are excited and proud to be a part of The Goddard School and we are committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in the neighborhood,” adds Debbie. Debbie looks forward to meeting your family and sharing her beautiful school in Wilton.     My name is Kate, and I am ecstatic to be the Director of The Goddard School in Wilton CT! I have worked at this school since August of 2018 and have had different roles including Lead Teacher in the classroom, and Team Lead and Assistant Director. I have always had a passion for working with children of all ages; Infants through Pre-K. I obtained my Child Development Associate in 2017 and ever since my career began in 2011, I have loved helping children discover the world around them. I strongly believe in attending to every child’s individual need by giving them the space and opportunity to explore through their imagination. Stepping into the role of Director, I am inspired to support the teachers in facilitating a healthy, fun, safe, and enriching environment.     My name is Christine and I am excited to be part of the team as an Assistant Director at the Goddard School in Wilton! I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014 with my Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Development. I have been working with young children for over 10 years with experiences spanning from infants, toddlers, and preschool. My specific interests in early childhood education are in social emotional development and learning and fostering/promoting multilingualism. I am a huge advocate for play based learning and I love when children show what they are capable of. I look forward to working with the Goddard team, the children, and the families!

    My name is Laura and I am so excited to be part of The Goddard School Wilton as Assistant Director! I am a graduate from Skidmore College with a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Education Studies and I have a passion for working with children. I am honored to be a part of so many childhoods and love to see children reach different developmental milestones. I hope to help guide children to be our future leaders and create a safe environment for them to thrive in.     I am so pleased to be part of the amazing team at The Goddard School here in Wilton, since August 2018. I enjoy spending my days in the classroom helping children prepare for kindergarten through curriculum-based plans full of song, creative arts, collaboration and incidental teaching. I enjoy fostering relationships with students of varied abilities and partnering with administration, peers and parents to ensure I do the most I can for each child. Building relationships on trust and caring is the most rewarding facet of my time spent in the classroom. I have degrees in English and Journalism from the University of Connecticut and found my way into the education system through my children. When they were both in school full time, I began working in the public schools as a literacy para so I could share their schedule. From that point on I was hooked, and when my family moved to Maine, I became a Pre-K teacher at a private center. I am so happy to be back in this setting and look forward to the opportunity to work with your children. **Ms. Jen was our Teacher of The Year in 2021! She went on to win the Goddard School Northeast Region Teacher of The Year, and we are SO proud!!

    I am thrilled to be part of this amazing Goddard School team since 2018. I have a Bachelor Degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and was pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Languages and Literature at the University of Spiru Haret, Bucharest, Romania. I worked as an Elementary School teacher for several years before I was given the opportunity to share my knowledge and study/learn more in the US. Working with so many different age groups made me realize that my true interest is in Early Childhood, where I can give my young students a strong academic foundation and help them develop skills that will prepare them for kindergarten! Looking forward to working with so many Goddard families!

    Hi, My Name is Kaelyn and I’m so happy to be joining the team at The Goddard School. My passion is to work with children and start my own childcare business. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I love bringing out the nurturing and caring side of myself. I have volunteered for summer camps and became a teacher assistant for preschoolers. I used to do competitive dancing and acted in a couple of plays. I am very energetic with children. I am very excited to learn, grow, and interact with the teachers at The Goddard School. I can’t wait to see every child’s uniqueness and what makes them the who they are!

    I have been an Early Childhood Educator for over sixteen years, and joined the Goddard Family in January 2015 shortly after our school first opened. I love being an educator. I believe that it is so important to encourage children to develop to their fullest potential. I earned my CDA from Wisconsin University in 1997 and since then have attended countless workshops in the Early Childhood Education field to continue to develop my knowledge base. I have earned my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood from Norwalk Community College, and have achieved Head Teacher status from the State of Connecticut.

    Hi! My name is Lexi. I have worked in childcare for 10 years. I also recently became a parent myself to my son, which has strengthened my love for teaching. I started my journey back in high school where I was an after school teacher. From that experience I moved on to working not only with elementary school age, but also preschool and then infants. I have worked closely with all ages and I absolutely love them all. I believe that all children are unique. No child is the same, every child has a different way of learning. That is why I strive to cater to every child to the best of my ability. I find that a lot of the time I am learning from the children as they learn from their experiences. I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard School Wilton.

I have recently moved from New York where I spent 4 years providing care, love, and academic support to infants and toddlers. I have always admired watching children grow and evolve, which is why I hope and plan to make a positive impact on your child so that as they grow they become confident leaders. I have recently become a mom of twin girls and I understand the importance of an all-around balanced support group. I aspire to build that trust and independent connection with your child.     Hi, my name is Andreen! I joined the Goddard School in September 2022. I am excited to be apart of the Goddard team! I am currently working on completing my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Norwalk Community College, were I have earned most of my credits. I love meeting new children and I love to watch them learn and grow as an individual. Being able to teach them at an early age, I will help nurture and guide them towards their future.

    Hello, my name is Miyaunie (Me-yawn-ne), but you can also call me Mimi for short. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus in Early Childhood Development and Psychology. I first realized my passion for childcare and education at an early age being the oldest daughter and granddaughter. The responsibility of caring for my younger sibling and family members was where I fit in best. I’ve work in numerous roles; summer camp counselors, lead teacher, floater, even an assistant store manager catering to young women and children. My joy in the early childhood field comes from seeing my impact and involvement in the growth and development of each child. I am energetically inspired to create a space for each child to play, explore, learn, and grow, and I along with them. It is my pleasure to be a part of The Goddard Family and I look forward to working together with the fellow team, children, and families.

    Hi! My name is Jimary. I am so grateful and honored to be a part of The Goddard School team! I've been working with Infants & Toddlers since 2017. I started off babysitting and decided I wanted to work with children starting my career as an early childhood professional at another child care center where I worked for 3 years. I joined the teaching team here at Goddard in October 2022. I love working with children, I love to see the process of how each child grows and develops, little by little. I love how happy and excited their faces get when they learn new things! I enjoy working with each child and helping them develop their own originality and individuality at an early age. I look forward to seeing each child develop in their own way, and getting to know all of the families here at The Goddard School in Wilton!

    I am so happy to be part of this wonderful team. I have been working with children for about 5 years. I have also taken 2 years of child development classes in High School, which taught me so much. I have three adorable nieces who have sparked my interest in taking this passion more serious. Watching them grow and develop made me realize that I still have a lot to learn. I started working at my first preschool 2 years ago. Not only have I learned so much more about teaching and guiding children, I have also learned children just want to loved and cared for. That is exactly what I am here to do. Every child is special and unique and that is what makes this journey so much fun. I want to guide children to be their best selves and to always strive to succeed.

Since then I have obtained a bachelors degree in general psychology and an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I have learned so much to help create a fun and safe learning environment for young children. It is a pleasure to be able to influence the lives of the children and families in a positive way. I hold a bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies from Southern Connecticut State University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Elementary Education at Liberty University. With four years of teaching experience, I find the educational field incredibly rewarding, witnessing tangible growth and progress in children. My background includes teaching Preschool and Pre-K at the Goddard School in Fairfield, CT, and working in Stamford Public Elementary Schools (K-5). Additionally, I have experience in special education classrooms (K-2nd) working with students with Autism, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet diverse educational needs. As an energetic educator, I possess proven skills in teaching various subjects. I excel in maintaining organized classrooms and keeping students on-task, creating warm and safe educational environments that cater to individual student needs.

    My name is Ms. Christine and I am excited to be joining the Goddard School family! I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a dual degree in History and Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Spanish. In the past ten years I have worked with children in tutoring programs to promote language and literacy development, as a nanny and a custody monitor. Most recently, I was an elementary assistant teacher in an out-placement special education school. My favorite thing about working with children, especially younger ages, is getting to experience their natural curiosity and creativity. I am looking forward to working with my fellow teachers to create an environment that allows each child to succeed academically and emotionally and encourages their innate desire to explore and learn about the world around them.
