On-Site OwnerI’m Sydney Banks, the on-site owner of The Goddard School in Cheshire. Early Childhood Education has always been home for me—I grew up in a nurturing childcare program that shaped my life, and it’s my greatest joy to create that same sense of comfort, connection, and belonging for the families in our community. I hold an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, am a certified Head Teacher in Connecticut, and am completing my Bachelor’s with a focus on Program Administration and Leadership. My background includes years in preschool classrooms, beginning my Goddard journey in South Windsor, along with leadership experience in the restaurant industry that strengthened my communication and operational skills. As both an educator and a mom, I’m deeply committed to building a warm, supportive school where children feel safe, inspired, and celebrated. I can’t wait to welcome your family and begin building meaningful relationships—one joyful moment at a time.
