Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Kaylee is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Folsom. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication Studies & Public Relations from California State University, Chico. Kaylee has been a part of The Goddard School “Family” since 2007 & has a passion for working with children. Ms. Kaylee understands that you have a choice in childcare & preschool for your family. She believes in making a difference & recognizes the significance of positively affecting the lives of the students as well as the families in the community. The Goddard School features a warm, loving atmosphere in a year round program designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual & physical development of children while enriching their desire to learn. Ms. Kaylee feels honored to provide Goddard’s outstanding program to the children of the Folsom community! In Ms. Kaylee's spare time, she enjoys being with her family, friends, boyfriend & their 3 dogs! She LOVES our Folsom community!

John and Jody are Co-Owners of The Goddard School of Folsom. Mrs. Jody holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and has worked with children for over 35 years. Through Mrs. Jody’s experience, she is aware of the significance in providing a quality preschool setting with caring and professional teachers. Mr. John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and prior to Goddard he worked with children as a sports coach. He also has an extensive background in management and customer service. They both recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Mr. John and Mrs. Jody are passionate and committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children of Folsom and the surrounding communities. In their spare time, John and Jody enjoy spending time with their family, camping and traveling. They are the Co-Owners of their original Goddard School located in Sparks, NV. That location has been open since 2008.

Mrs. Ruthie is the Director of our School. She has been a dedicated member of our Goddard Family since 2017, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her role as one of our Directors. With over 30 completed units in Early Childhood Education and nearly two decades of experience working with children from infancy through school age, she has cultivated a deep understanding of child development and early learning. In her role as Director, Mrs. Ruthie is passionate about mentoring and supporting teachers. She believes in fostering a collaborative and empowering environment where educators feel confident, inspired, and equipped to provide high-quality learning experiences. Her goal is to help both children and staff reach their full potential through guidance, encouragement, and professional growth. Mrs. Ruthie continues her education through Goddard System University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Sammy is our dedicated office assistant who helps create a warm and welcoming environment for families and children as soon as they walk through the door. She is a compassionate, care-focused individual who enjoys learning new things and connecting with others. Having worked with children from a young age, she brings both experience and energy to her role. She aspires to become a teacher in the future and is passionate about supporting and helping those around her. Mrs. Sammy is approachable and open to conversation, making her a trusted and friendly presence in our community. Mrs. Sammy continues her professional development through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has successfully completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Mannie is a Lead Teacher in our Seahorses, Infant Suites Classroom. She is also our Team Mentor Teacher onboarding and supporting faculty in their roles. She has an Associate of Science in General Education. Mrs. Mannie has 24 units in Early Childhood Education including Infant and Toddler specialized coursework. She is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in the Child Development field. Mrs. Mannie has worked with young children since 2006. She loves watching the children play, explore, and get excited about new things they learn and experience. Mrs. Mannie speaks Punjabi and English. Mrs. Mannie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Michaela is a Lead Teacher in our Sharks, Pre- Kindergarten classroom. She earned her bachelor's degree in liberal arts from California State University, Sacramento and is now pursuing her master's degree in elementary education from Western Governor's University. Mrs. Michaela has been working with children since 2017 and enjoys helping them learn in creative ways. It is important to her that children have the space they need in order to learn and feel safe. Mrs. Michaela continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) courses and is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Corina (aka Ms. Coco) is a Lead Teacher in our Whales, Preschool 2 Classroom. She is dedicated Early Childhood Education professional with over five years of hands-on experience in the field. She is currently pursuing her Associate of Arts Degree to further enhance her knowledge and skills, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and growth. Recently, she made the move from the Bay Area to Folsom, seeking to be closer to her family, which has allowed her to bring a strong sense of community and personal connection into her work. One of Ms. Corina's greatest passions is crafting and art, which she incorporates into her teaching style to inspire creativity and self-expression in young children. Ms. Corina continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Madison is a Lead Teacher in our Dolphins classroom. Ms. Madison is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development at National University. As part of her program, she completed a total of 12 Early Childhood Education credits. This academic journey has deepened her understanding of child development, learning environments, and the importance of early education in shaping a child's future. Ms. Madison recently began working directly with children, and it has quickly become the most rewarding part of her experience so far. She's excited to be part of each child's individual growth: socially, emotionally, and academically. Ms. Madison is eager to create a safe, nurturing space where all children can thrive. Ms. Madison continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Sandy is a lead teacher in the Crabs classroom, where she brings dedication and enthusiasm to her role each day. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Sacramento State University in the Fall of 2017. Ms. Sandy has been working with children since 2014 and has developed a strong passion for early childhood education over the years. She truly enjoys watching children learn, grow, and reach new developmental milestones. Being a part of each child's developmental journey is especailly meaningful to her. Ms. Sandy is committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for every child in her care. Ms. Sandy continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed at Livescan background check.

Ms. Malina is our Lead Teacher in our Seals classroom. She has earned her Early Childhood Education/Child and Adolescent Development units through Sacramento State University. Ms. Malina holds her Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. She started her journey working with children in 2025. She is passionate about playful learning, growing and development. She loves to see children try new things and grow throughout the process. Ms. Malina continues her education through the Goddard Systems University classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Angela is a Lead Teacher in the toddler program. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Child Development from Modesto Junior College and holds both Teacher and Early Interventionist certifications. Since beginning her career in early childhood education in 2023, Ms. Angela has found great joy in supporting children as they learn, grow, and reach new milestones. She is passionate about helping every child build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Angela is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive each day. Mrs. Padma is a Teacher in our Sea Turtles, Toddler Classroom. She earned her Assistant Teacher Certificate of Recognition through Folsom Lake College. In addition to working with preschool-aged children, she has also volunteered with children at a local elementary school. Her favorite activities to do with children in the classroom are story time and different learning activities. In her free time, Mrs. Padma enjoys art, interior decorating, and baking. Mrs. Padma continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Cat attended Sierra College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Pacific Oaks College. Since beginning her career in early childhood education in 2018, she has been passionate about supporting young learners during their most important developmental years. Her favorite part of working with children is watching their unique personalities blossom as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. She finds joy in creating meaningful connections and helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Cat continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed at Livescan background check.

Ms. Melissa has completed her Early Childhood Education units through Yuba College and brings five years of experience working with children. After spending several years with older age groups, she found her passion in helping younger children learn, grow, and shine as they develop their unique personalities. As a proud mom to her 4 year old son, Julian, Ms. Melissa understands the importance of creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore. Her caring nature and dedication help every child feel right at home. Outside the classroom, Ms. Melissa is a big Disney fan and especially loves Ariel. She enjoys bringing creativity, imagination, and a touch of Disney magic to each day. Ms. Melissa continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. Ms. Bunny is a passionate and caring educator with nearly four years of teaching experience. She began her professional journey by pursuing a teaching certificate at De La Salle University as part of her goal to earn her teaching licensure. After moving to the United States, she embraced new opportunities to grow in the field of early childhood education and is currently completing Early Childhood Education units at Los Rios College. She is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. Her commitment to continuous learning and her genuine love for working with children make her a valued member of our school family. Ms. Bunny continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed at Livescan background check.

Ms. Dayanara is a passionate teacher who has been working with young children since 2024. She earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Modesto Junior College and currently holds an Associate Teacher Permit. As a dedicated child advocate, she enjoys supporting children's development and celebrating their growth and achievements. Ms. Dayanara is continuing her education at California State University, Sacramento, studying Child Development in Social Contexts. She is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for every child. Ms. Dayanara has completed a Live Scan background check and is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Ms. Ajah is an aide-qualified FLEX Resource Teacher supporting our Infant Program Classrooms at our School. She is currently a student at Sierra Community College, majoring in Marine Biology. She began working in the Early Childhood Education field in 2024 and has also volunteered at various organizations supporting children. While her long-term passion lies in working with animals, she is currently enjoying her time working with children and learning from them each day. Ms. Ajah continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Rosalie has been working with children since a very young age. She cared for her 4 brothers and taught them how to read, write, swim and bike! Ms. Rosalie has her Bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Social work. Most of her experience comes from opening her own daycare from 2001 to 2013. Ms. Rosalie has also worked with adults with disabilities and currently working for friends and families as an independent caretaker, supporting with transportation, dog walking and other needs. Ms. Rosalie continues her education through the Goddard Systems University. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Kari is a FLEX Resource Manager and Team Lead supporting all classrooms at our School. She has an Associates Degree in Fine Arts from Los Altos Foothill College and has completed 18 early childhood education units at San Diego Miramar College. Mrs. Kari believes every child is unique and has his or her own temperament and learning style. Mrs. Kari is bilingual, her native language is Spanish and she loves including Spanish in her teaching curriculum. Mrs. Kari lives in El Dorado Hills with her husband, their daughter, and their dog, Mr. Chips. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, sewing, jewelry making, and crafting with her daughter. Mrs. Kari continues her education at Folsom Lake College, where she is currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education Mrs. Kari continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Anne is a FLEX Resource Teacher supporting all classrooms at our School. She earned her Early Childhood Education units through Folsom Lake College and continues to pursue a degree in the field. She is excited to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education and make a meaningful impact on young learners. Mrs. Anne genuinely loves interacting with children and is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued. She looks forward to building strong relationships with students and their families, fostering a love for learning, and contributing to the positive atmosphere throughout the school. Ms. Celeste has several years of experience working in Early Childhood Education and childcare and enjoys caring for children in a nurturing and supportive environment. She is currently continuing her education through Sierra College to further her knowledge in ECE. Ms. Celeste is passionate about helping children feel safe, loved and supported as they grow. Outside of the classroom she enjoys reading, crocheting and spending time with her family. Ms. Celeste continues her education through the Goddard Systems University classes. She is CPR certified and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Jennifer is one of our flex teachers supporting all our classrooms at our school. Ms. Jennifer has completed Early Childhood Education classes at Folsom Lake College. She enjoys supporting children as they learn and grow. Ms. Jennifer has been working with children since 2014, and she is passionate about continuing her own development as well. Her goal is to return to school so she can keep learning and growing both personally and professionally. Outside of teaching, she loves caring for her 2 kids, cats (many), watching T.V., and going to the gym. Ms. Jennifer continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed at Livescan background check.

Ms. Abby is a fun, dedicated summer camp counselor who is currently pursuing a degree focused on working with children at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has over six years of experience working with kids and has loved every moment spent helping them learn and grow. Ms. Abby has also worked at other youth summer camps and is excited to continue doing so each summer, as well as whenever she is not in school. Outside of camp and school, Ms. Abby enjoys baking, working out, and spending time with her friends and family. She plans to finish her degree at UCSB and hopes to continue on to graduate school to become a school psychologist.

Ms. Belen (Ms. B) is a member of our supporting staff for the Summer. She brings a vibrant and positive energy to our team and is often described as energetic and bubbly. She has a strong passion for helping others and much experience working with young children. As the oldest of 6 siblings, she naturally developed a nurturing and responsible nature while caring for her younger brothers and sisters. She has also served her community in a variety of roles, including referee, coach, camp counselor, and teacher, further strengthening her ability to connect with and support children of all ages. We are excited to have her for the summer!

Ms. Gemma is a junior at Oregon State University studying Marketing, where she combines her creativity and leadership skills to make a positive impact. She also serves as the Director of Digital Media for her sorority, helping connect and engage her community through digital content. In her free time, Ms. Gemma loves traveling with her family and exploring new places. She also enjoys crafting and baking, which allow her to express her creativity in fun and meaningful ways. Ms. Gemma is excited to begin this new chapter, build relationships with children and families and gain valuable experiences. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and positive attitude make her a wonderful addition to our school family. Ms. Gemma continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes.
