Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Kaylee is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Folsom. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication Studies & Public Relations from California State University, Chico. Kaylee has been a part of The Goddard School “Family” since 2007 & has a passion for working with children. Ms. Kaylee understands that you have a choice in childcare & preschool for your family. She believes in making a difference & recognizes the significance of positively affecting the lives of the students as well as the families in the community. The Goddard School features a warm, loving atmosphere in a year round program designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual & physical development of children while enriching their desire to learn. Ms. Kaylee feels honored to provide Goddard’s outstanding program to the children of the Folsom community! In Ms. Kaylee's spare time, she enjoys being with her family, friends, boyfriend & their 3 dogs! She LOVES our Folsom community!

John and Jody are Co-Owners of The Goddard School of Folsom. Mrs. Jody holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and has worked with children for over 35 years. Through Mrs. Jody’s experience, she is aware of the significance in providing a quality preschool setting with caring and professional teachers. Mr. John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and prior to Goddard he worked with children as a sports coach. He also has an extensive background in management and customer service. They both recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Mr. John and Mrs. Jody are passionate and committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children of Folsom and the surrounding communities. In their spare time, John and Jody enjoy spending time with their family, camping and traveling. They are the Co-Owners of their original Goddard School located in Sparks, NV. That location has been open since 2008.

Mrs. Ruthie is the Director of our School. She has been a dedicated member of our Goddard Family since 2017, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her role as one of our Directors. With over 30 completed units in Early Childhood Education and nearly two decades of experience working with children from infancy through school age, she has cultivated a deep understanding of child development and early learning. In her role as Director, Mrs. Ruthie is passionate about mentoring and supporting teachers. She believes in fostering a collaborative and empowering environment where educators feel confident, inspired, and equipped to provide high-quality learning experiences. Her goal is to help both children and staff reach their full potential through guidance, encouragement, and professional growth. Mrs. Ruthie continues her education through Goddard System University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Amber brings more than 20 years of experience and a lifelong passion for Early Childhood Education. Her journey in the field began in high school where she first discovered her love for working with young children. Since then, she has served as both a Teacher and a Director, dedicating her career to creating, nurturing, and engaging environments that help children learn, explore and grow. Amber’s philosophy centers on the belief that educators have an extraordinary impact on shaping the future. She is deeply committed to supporting children and their families. Outside of her professional life, Amber is a devoted wife and proud pet mom. She looks forward to meeting each family, celebrating the unique strengths of every child in the inspiring environment that makes Goddard Folsom so special.

Mrs. Mannie is a Lead Teacher in our Seahorses, Infant Suites Classroom. She is also our Team Mentor Teacher onboarding and supporting faculty in their roles. She has an Associate of Science in General Education. Mrs. Mannie has 24 units in Early Childhood Education including Infant and Toddler specialized coursework. She is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in the Child Development field. Mrs. Mannie has worked with young children since 2006. She loves watching the children play, explore, and get excited about new things they learn and experience. Mrs. Mannie speaks Punjabi and English. Mrs. Mannie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Trisha is a Lead Teacher in our Seahorses, Infant Suites Classroom. She has earned her Early Childhood Education credentials through Los Rios Community Colleges and brings over 15 years of experience in the field. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, gaining valuable insights into the diverse needs of young children and their families. Ms. Trisha is passionate about watching children grow and reach new milestones, and she finds joy in creating a nurturing environment where each child can thrive. In her personal time, Ms. Trisha enjoys outdoor activities like camping and fishing, as well as relaxing at home with her beloved dog, Oreo. Her dedication to both her profession and personal well-being make her a well-rounded and caring educator. Ms. Trisha continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Geanna is a Resource Teacher supporting all classrooms. She has been working with children since 2017 and earned her early childhood education units from Sacramento City College. In addition to her ECE units, she holds an Infant Care and Education Teacher certificate. Her favorite thing about working with children is watching them discover their capabilities, especially when they are finally able to do something they have been trying to achieve. In her free time, Mrs. Geanna loves to take her three kids to the park or play video games with them. Mrs. Geanna continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Padma is a Teacher in our Sea Turtles, Toddler Classroom. She earned her Assistant Teacher Certificate of Recognition through Folsom Lake College. In addition to working with preschool-aged children, she has also volunteered with children at a local elementary school. Her favorite activities to do with children in the classroom are story time and different learning activities. In her free time, Mrs. Padma enjoys art, interior decorating, and baking. Mrs. Padma continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Michaela is a Lead Teacher in our Sharks, Pre- Kindergarten classroom. She earned her bachelor's degree in liberal arts from California State University, Sacramento and is now pursuing her master's degree in elementary education from Western Governor's University. Mrs. Michaela has been working with children since 2017 and enjoys helping them learn in creative ways. It is important to her that children have the space they need in order to learn and feel safe. Mrs. Michaela continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) courses and is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Anna is a Lead Teacher in our Octopus, Twos Classroom. She has earned her Early Childhood Education Units through College of the Redwoods in Humboldt. She began her teaching career in 2016, and holds an Early Childhood Education certificate and is currently working towards her Bachelors degree in ECE/ Special needs populations. Ms. Anna has great experience in behavioral therapy and has a passion for helping others. Ms. Anna thinks it is important to advocate for others that cannot advocate for themselves. Ms. Anna continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Reece is a Lead Teacher in our Sea Turtles, Toddler Classroom. Reece has obtained Early Childhood Education units through UCLA. She is currently attending Folsom Lake College to receive her degree in psychology, and plans on transitioning to Sacramento State University. Ms. Reece has four younger brothers, she has been working with children her whole life and enjoys every second of it. Ms. Reece is passionate about working with children because she gets to see each child's personalities shine as they learn and grow. Ms. Reece continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) courses and is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Corina (aka Ms. Coco) is a Lead Teacher in our Whales, Preschool 2 Classroom. She is dedicated Early Childhood Education professional with over five years of hands-on experience in the field. She is currently pursuing her Associate of Arts Degree to further enhance her knowledge and skills, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and growth. Recently, she made the move from the Bay Area to Folsom, seeking to be closer to her family, which has allowed her to bring a strong sense of community and personal connection into her work. One of Ms. Corina's greatest passions is crafting and art, which she incorporates into her teaching style to inspire creativity and self-expression in young children. Ms. Corina continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Yuna is a FLEX Resource Teacher supporting all classrooms at our School. She has been dedicated to the field of Early Childhood Education since 2022. She completed her coursework through American River College and is currently pursuing her teaching certification. With a strong passion for fostering a love of learning, Ms. Yuna is eager to show children that school can be a fun and exciting place where they can explore, discover, and grow. She is deeply committed to helping each child realize their full potential and believes that a positive and engaging educational experience lays the foundation for lifelong learning. In her spare time, Ms. Yuna enjoys dancing, reading, and sewing, hobbies that allow her to unwind and express her creativity. Ms. Yuna continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Sara is a FLEX Resource Teacher supporting all classrooms at our School. She has been working with children since 2001 and earned her Early Childhood Education units from Folsom Lake College. Her favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow and watching how they explore the world around them. In addition to teaching, Ms. Sara has also taught children horseback riding. Ms. Sara continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Kari is a FLEX Resource Manager and Team Lead supporting all classrooms at our School. She has an Associates Degree in Fine Arts from Los Altos Foothill College and has completed 18 early childhood education units at San Diego Miramar College. Mrs. Kari believes every child is unique and has his or her own temperament and learning style. Mrs. Kari is bilingual, her native language is Spanish and she loves including Spanish in her teaching curriculum. Mrs. Kari lives in El Dorado Hills with her husband, their daughter, and their dog, Mr. Chips. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, sewing, jewelry making, and crafting with her daughter. Mrs. Kari continues her education at Folsom Lake College, where she is currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education Mrs. Kari continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Celeste has several years of experience working in Early Childhood Education and childcare and enjoys caring for children in a nurturing and supportive environment. She is currently continuing her education through Sierra College to further her knowledge in ECE. Ms. Celeste is passionate about helping children feel safe, loved and supported as they grow. Outside of the classroom she enjoys reading, crocheting and spending time with her family. Ms. Celeste continues her education through the Goddard Systems University classes. She is CPR certified and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Amanda is a Lead Teacher in our Stingrays, Preschool 1 Classroom. She has earned her Bachelors Degree through Boise State University. Ms. Amanda has been working with children since 2010 and has been a preschool teacher since 2023. She enjoys watching them discover new things. Ms. Amanda is passionate about working with children because it is amazing to see the world through their eyes and see their personalities come out and blossom. Mrs. Amanda continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Kelly has been completed her Early Childhood Education units through Sacramento City College. Ms. Kelly would love to continue her education and get a degree in teaching. Teaching is Ms. Kelly's passion, she loves watching children learn and grow. Having a daughter really changed Ms. Kelly's view of teaching and inspired her even further to want to be a great teacher. She hopes to continue learning and gaining experience by working at the Goddard School. Ms. Kelly continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. Mrs. Anne is a FLEX Resource Teacher supporting all classrooms at our School. She earned her Early Childhood Education units through Folsom Lake College and continues to pursue a degree in the field. She is excited to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education and make a meaningful impact on young learners. Mrs. Anne genuinely loves interacting with children and is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued. She looks forward to building strong relationships with students and their families, fostering a love for learning, and contributing to the positive atmosphere throughout the school. Ms. Ajah is an aide-qualified FLEX Resource Teacher supporting our Infant Program Classrooms at our School. She is currently a student at Sierra Community College, majoring in Marine Biology. She began working in the Early Childhood Education field in 2024 and has also volunteered at various organizations supporting children. While her long-term passion lies in working with animals, she is currently enjoying her time working with children and learning from them each day. Ms. Ajah continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Mrs. Karena is a Teacher in our Whales, Preschool 2 Classroom. She has earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Karena has many years of experience working with children of all ages. She has enjoyed working with kindergarten children the most. She is passionate about curriculum, language development, and having students meet their learning goals. She loves working with parents and learning how to be a better caregiver and mother. In her spare time, she enjoys being home with her husband and son playing and watching tv. Mrs. Karena continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Aaryeona (known as Ms. Jo) is a teacher in our Bridge classroom. She is currently earning her Early Childhood Education units at American River College. She has enjoyed working with children since 2021 and hopes to continue for many years. Ms. Jo loves to watch each child grow and achieve all their personal and developmental goals. Ms. Jo continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid Certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Maggie is a teacher in our Stingrays classroom. She has earned her Associate Teacher Permit and holds a BFA in Music Performance. Prior to joining our team, Ms. Maggie has experience in a Montessori setting. As a dedicated educator and musician, she has also conducted cello and violin lessons. We look forward to seeing her take her musical background to encourage children to “listen to the music”! Ms. Maggie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Madison is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development at National University. As part of her program, she completed a total of 12 Early Childhood Education credits. This academic journey has deepened her understanding of child development, learning environments, and the importance of early education in shaping a child's future. Ms. Madison recently began working directly with children, and it has quickly become the most rewarding part of her experience so far. She's excited to be part of each child's individual growth: socially, emotionally, and academically. Ms. Madison is eager to create a safe, nurturing space where all children can thrive. Ms. Madison continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Malina is a teacher in our Twos Program. She has earned her Early Childhood Education/Child and Adolescent Development units through Sacramento State University. Ms. Malina holds her Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. She started her journey working with children in 2025. She is passionate about playful learning, growing and development. She loves to see children try new things and grow throughout the process. Ms. Malina continues her education through the Goddard Systems University classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.

Ms. Rosalie has been working with children since a very young age. She cared for her 4 brothers and taught them how to read, write, swim and bike! Ms. Rosalie has her Bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Social work. Most of her experience comes from opening her own daycare from 2001 to 2013. Ms. Rosalie has also worked with adults with disabilities and currently working for friends and families as an independent caretaker, supporting with transportation, dog walking and other needs. Ms. Rosalie continues her education through the Goddard Systems University. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a Livescan background check.
