Meet Heather Director of Operations

Hello, My Name is Ms. Heather and I am the Director of Operations at The Goddard School of Peoria. I am excited to work alongside our team here in Peoria to bring the highest quality education and care to your families and the community. I have worked in the Early Childhood field for over 35 years. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education and am a life-long learner, always looking for new and innovative practices in the field. I am passionate about teaching young children social and emotional skills to be able to thrive in the world today. I am also a huge advocate for open ended, child guided art and projects that spark creativity in our students. Originally from Illinois, I have lived in Arizona for 23 years with my son who is in college studying child psychology and counseling. In my spare time I love to travel and take road trips around Arizona to see all of the beautiful scenery it has to offer. My door is always open so stop by with any questions or just to say hi!

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K
