We’re thrilled to welcome you to The Goddard School of Waunakee! My name is Jennifer Jakacki, and I’m proud to serve as your on-site owner at our brand-new school. With a background as a kindergarten and 4K teacher, I bring years of experience in early childhood education and a deep passion for nurturing young learners. At The Goddard School, we believe every child deserves a strong start in their academic journey. Our team is dedicated to providing a high-quality, play-based learning experience that supports academic growth and social-emotional development. Hello! I'm Lucy Brooks, Director of The Goddard School in Waunakee. With a background in child development and years of experience working with children of all ages, I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of strong family partnerships, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our school community while leading with a commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Hello, my name is Amirah. My love for childcare grew when my nieces were born, after 7 years with my nieces I decided work professionally in the childcare business. After a year and a half in the business I decided to expand my learning and I’m currently getting my degree in early childhood education. Outside of childcare I love to spend my time reading, going on nature walks and spending time with my friends. I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else!

Hi, my name is Marsha. I have two kiddos a daughter who is a Senior and a son who is a Sophomore, both in the Sun Prairie School District. I began my work professionally with children at the YMCA in 2008 where I started in child watch, working with ages 6 weeks-12yrs. I moved into the pre-school room and then to 4K until 2017, when I then went to work at the elementary school where both of kids went K-5. I started as a Special Education Aid for 6yrs, before moving into my last role for the past 3 yrs as the behavior coach for both regular ed and special ed. I spent the last 9yrs working in an elementary setting. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, NVCI, blood borne pathogens and autism trainings. Family time is my favorite time, movies, crafts, basketball and going to farmers markets. I LOVE watching my kids in their sports and all things to cheer them on. I look forward to getting to know you and your families.

Hi, my name is Tayler Korfmacher! I have been working with children since October 2021. I enjoy learning about each child who comes into my room. Each child is unique, and there's so much to learn about children and how to help them blossom! I like to sew, crochet, and cleaning is what I call a hobby! I have 4 dogs between my family and my boyfriend Matt's family; their names are Stanley, Ila, Ellie, and Zoey.  

Hello! My name is Mel and I’m excited to work with the Goddard families and children here. I’ve been working with children since 2021, and I continue to go to school for my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I’m originally from New York but have been in Wisconsin since 2020. I’m a cat mom to 4 amazing cats - Princess, Mr. K, Cleopatra, and Vex. In my free time, I love to listen to music, play video games, do photography, and take walks. I look forward to meeting with you and getting to know you and your families!

Hi, my name is Gabrielle and I am excited to join the Goddard Team! I graduated this past December from UW–Madison with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. I am a proud cat mom to Naia and Tango. I play the ukulele in my spare time, and I love letting the kiddos play it too! My ukulele is sturdy and can take it! I pride myself in being a leader of language-rich, interactive care for young children. I began my professional journey in early childhood education while finishing my bachelor's degree so have had great experience in early childhood education. Lastly, I was born and raised in Wisconsin and look forward to joining the Waunakee Goddard School.

My name is Aly Fulton. I am a senior in high school. I will be attending UW-Eau Claire next year. I have always had a passion for working with children. Away from work and school I enjoy playing hockey, running track, being outdoors, and I am always up for any adventure. My family and I raise service dog puppies. I love coming to work at Goddard School every other day!

Hi! My name is Danielle and I've been in childcare for a little over two years and have always had a passion for nurturing young children. I have worked with several different age groups and have a true love for the infant age group. I really enjoy watching infants develop and grow every day. I love the bonds formed with both children and families. I am so excited to be here at Goddard and getting to know all of your little ones!
