After spending 20 years in the mortgage industry, I decided to make a bold career change and follow my true passion – serving children and families in my local community. As a dad of three boys, I understand the importance of creating a supportive, nurturing environment for children to grow and thrive. I’m dedicated to providing families with a school that feels like home – a place where learning is exciting, and every child is encouraged to explore, ask questions, and grow. I believe in the power of partnership with families and am dedicated to working together to help each child reach their fullest potential. In my free time, I enjoy coaching high school football, boating and outdoor activities with my wife and kids.

I graduated from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Education. I began my career in early childhood education almost 13 years ago working in special education preschool classrooms. I currently work as a Behavior Analyst for a local school district. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing meaningful, evidence-based instruction while building strong partnerships with families. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and I am committed to supporting them through individualized approaches and collaboration with families and classroom teams.

  • Madison
    Madison
    Assistant Director
My name is Madison and I've dedicated my career to early childhood education since 2015, bringing together my B.S. in Psychology and her A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education to create environments where young children feel both supported and inspired to learn. I have worked in both teaching and leadership roles, giving me a well-rounded perspective on how to best nurture both children and the educators who guide them. These experiences have shaped my relationship-first approach, one that places connection, trust, and understanding at the center of my educational philosophy. I love being an active part of the community, visiting weekend farmers markets, attending Kraken, Seahawks, and Mariners games, and exploring local parks with my boyfriend and corgi, Danish.

I've been teaching for ten years, and I couldn't imagine finding something more fulfilling. I take pride in fostering a classroom environment that encourages my students to come out of their shell. When it comes to playground dance parties, messy sensory projects , and hands on learning through play. I'm having at least as much fun as my kids. Out of the classroom, I'm happiest at home with my daughter, our cat Calliope, and our veritable jungle of houseplants.
