Welcome! We are Josh and Melissa, the owners of the Woodinville Goddard. We are a husband and wife team dedicated to serving children and families in our local community. As parents of 3 young, active boys, we understand the importance of meeting the needs of our children across all developmental domains of learning. The Goddard school provides a safe, nurturing environment for our kids to grow and be celebrated. We hope you will join us!

After spending 20 years in the mortgage industry, I decided to make a bold career change and follow my true passion – serving children and families in my local community. As a dad of three boys, I understand the importance of creating a supportive, nurturing environment for children to grow and thrive. I’m dedicated to providing families with a school that feels like home – a place where learning is exciting, and every child is encouraged to explore, ask questions, and grow. I believe in the power of partnership with families and am dedicated to working together to help each child reach their fullest potential. In my free time, I enjoy coaching high school football, boating and outdoor activities with my wife and kids.

I am trilled to go on this journey with you as a mom of twins enrolled at the Woodinville Goddard. I graduated from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Education. I began my career in early childhood education almost 13 years ago working in special education preschool classrooms. I currently work as a Behavior Analyst for a local school district. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing meaningful, evidence-based instruction while building strong partnerships with families. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and I am committed to supporting them through individualized approaches and collaboration with families and classroom teams.

I am so excited to meet your family and become part of your “village” as we learn and grow together! Over the past decade, I’ve gained experience working with toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten, and school-age children as a teacher! I also had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Director at The Goddard School in Redmond Ridge, where I built strong relationships with families and supported a thriving early childhood community! I studied Early Childhood Education at Everett Community College and Western Governors University. Additionally, I studied Early Childhood focused American Sign Language and have taught weekly Birth–Pre-K Sign Language classes! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our energetic little boy, and our two dogs—Kona and Kiki!

I have been in the field of ECE since 1996. I am extremely passionate in the role of helping children grow & prepare for Elementary, and I look forward to working wit families toward that goal. Years of working with children have taught me how important both group and individual focus is for children. I believe that every child is unique and learns differently. I am a lifelong resident of WA state with my 3 adult children, 2 sons and daughter! I am also a proud Grandma! I love cooking and discovering new fun places to eat! My husband and I also love to hike and visit new places.

I have been working with children for 6 years and I love to see children thrive! I believe that children have a beautiful view on the world and it should be explored. I am currently working on my Masters in elementary education and I hope to become a 1st grade teacher! In my free time, I love to sing, dance, take photos, go to the beach, and go out with family and friends!

Howdy! My name is Lizette, I’ve been working with children since 2016! Helping little ones to grow and learn has always been a passion of mine. I recently moved to Washington with my boyfriend and our dog Yeti, who keeps us exploring the amazing hiking trails despite all WA rain! I love doing anything outdoors from swimming to snowboarding or just enjoying the sunshine on a nice summers day.

Hello! My name is Jaelyn. I have worked with kids since 2008, including some time in Maui, HI! I really enjoy watching kids discover the world and fostering those passions as they learn. I grew up in WA and I love exploring the beauty of the PNW. I have two children of my own, a boy and a girl! We love being together as a family and going on all sorts of adventures, even if it is just a walk around the neighborhood!

Oh hi! My name is Karmen and I have been working with kiddos for over 10 years! I have my degree in early childhood education and love seeing little faces light up when they finally grasp something new. I have 2 boys of my own! We love to play outside, collect bugs and read books. I am passionate about helping kiddos thrive where they are at and reach goals they didn’t know they had. I love Taylor Swift, the color pink, and anything with glitter!

Hello, my name is Kira! I have loved getting to develop my childcare skills over the last few years while I acquired my Associates Degree as well as my state certificate in Early Childhood Education. In my free time I love to hike, bike, go on walks, and spend as much time in nature as possible.

Hi, my name is Dana! I have several years of experience working with kids. I love seeing kids succeed and being able to help them be successful. In my free time, I like to crochet and knit. I love spending time with friends and family.

Hi! My name is Grace. I worked at the Center for Families in Lynwood for 2 years! I’m currently attending UW to pursue my Bachelors Degree. I’m from Las Vegas and lived there for 5 years. I lived in Korea for 3 years because my dad’s side of the family is from there. In 2011, I came back to the states and back to Las Vegas. I love shopping at Homegoods, Marshalls, and Popmart.

Hi I’m Stephanie! I am a mom of 4- 3 boys and 1 girl! I have 4 cats at home. I love reading. I have worked with kids at school districts since graduating High School. Including Special Needs classrooms! I have been a stay at home mom for 2.5 years and I am excited to come back to work!

Hello! My name is Diana and I have been working with children for the past 3 years. Some of my favorite hobbies are going shopping, getting my nails done, and doing my make-up. I also love spending time with my family on the weekends. My favorite childhood memory is when I used to spend my summers in Mexico with my Grandparents.

I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow, explore, and feel loved. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy outdoor activities, dancing and spending time with my husband.

Hi! I’m Sarandyn! I’ve been working with kids for as long as I can remember. I’m a certified phlebotomist (the person who draws your blood!) I know some beginner sign language, My favorite color is emerald, I love Jewelry and shopping. I love watching movies and TV shows. I’m so excited to meet all of you!

Hi Everyone! I have 2 years of experience working with children. My first year of experience was a nurse position at Children’s Hospital in Russia, where I am from. In the U.S, I have worked as a support teacher in the Jovie Company. I’ve learned about child development and growth. I have three kids, so I am interested in children well-being and growth. My hobbies are joking and hiking

Hello my name is Jessica and I’ve been working in childcare since 2025. I enjoy working with kids because I like to see the differences in each one of them, such as learning and growing. I’m the middle child, it’s just 3 girls, my mom, and only my dad as the boy in the house! Some of my favorite things to do is trying new restaurants, hiking, baking, and coloring. That’s a little about me!

I have lived in WA for about 10 years now. I am working towards my associates in criminal justice. I previously worked as an in-home babysitter all throughout the west coast of WA. I also work at the planet fitness in Monroe. Me and my family love the Seahawks, love to fish, and love to find outdoor hidden gems! I have a leopard gecko names Toby, who is my pride & joy and will be with me another 15 years!

I am currently going to Cascadia Community College for my AA. Prior to working here, I worked at a restaurant as a hostess. I have one older sister, who is just one year older and a 3-year-old younger sister. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I love to be outside, playing sports, camping, surfing, and walking.

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I come to Goddard with many years experience in teaching. After receiving my Bachelor's degree in elementary education, I worked in a preschool room and found my love for early childhood education. Outside of work, I love crafting, exploring the beauty of Washington, and spending time at home with my two cats!

I have worked as a Behavioral Technician for almost 2 years in my hometown, San Diego, before moving to WA to be a lead toddler teacher of a toddler classroom. Now I am pursuing a B.S. degree in psychology and is excited to learn and grow beside the wonderful students & teachers at The Goddard School of Woodinville!
