    Director
    Nadia brings over five years of leadership experience in early childhood education, having served in roles ranging from Program Director to Director of Education. With a strong background in Goddard systems, curriculum development, and state licensing compliance, she is well-versed in the operational and educational standards that make a school run smoothly. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and an Associate of Arts in Education. Her educational foundation, combined with hands-on experience across infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms, gives her a well-rounded perspective on child development at every stage. She is passionate about creating engaging learning environments where children can thrive and loves partnering with families and teachers to build a supportive school community. Whether she's mentoring staff, designing developmentally appropriate curriculum, or connecting with parents, Nadia is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured, and inspired.

    Center Director
    Maribel serves as the Center Director of The Goddard School of North Queen Anne, bringing more than 19 years of dedicated leadership in Early Childhood Education to her role. A nurturing and passionate educator at heart, she has built her career on the belief that every child deserves a learning environment where they can flourish physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Maribel bridges cultures and connects with diverse families, fostering school communities rooted in inclusivity and cultural responsiveness. Her leadership is defined by a deep commitment to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. From staff mentorship and professional development to family engagement, program excellence, and regulatory compliance, she brings intentionality and care to every facet of school operations. Under her guidance, children and educators alike find a place where they are supported, challenged, and inspired to thrive.

    Lead Teacher & Office Administrator
    Ms. Britney serves as Lead Teacher and Office Administrator and brings over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, including swim instruction, after-school programming, and summer camp leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Science, which shaped her belief that life skills are essential to children’s overall development. As a proud mom to a three-year-old, she brings a nurturing, relationship-based approach. Her favorite childhood book is Caps for Sale, and she is excited to partner with families as children learn and grow.

    Ms. Shaylene is a dedicated early childhood educator with a strong passion for infant care and development. She understands that the first year of life is essential in building a foundation for trust, security, and lifelong learning. In alignment with the nurturing, relationship-based philosophy of The Goddard School, Ms. Shaylene creates a safe, responsive, and engaging environment where each infant feels valued and supported. Through consistent routines, individualized care, and intentional interactions, Ms. Shaylene supports infants’ emotional well-being, early language development, and sensory exploration. She is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with families through open communication and partnership, ensuring each child receives high-quality care that fosters growth and development from the very beginning.

    Ms. Ayanna is excited to be working with young learners at The Goddard School of North Queen Anne. She brings over five years of experience in early childhood education and is passionate about creating a nurturing and meaningful classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. Ms. Ayanna values building strong relationships with both her students and their families. She believes that open communication and collaboration with families are essential in supporting each child’s growth, development, and overall success. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Ayanna enjoys traveling and exploring new places, as well as spending quality time with her friends and family.

    Ms. Sharon is passionate about nurturing and supporting young learners and is excited to be part of the learning community at The Goddard School. She strives to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where every child can grow, explore, and thrive. Ms. Sharon enjoys sharing her love of reading with children and helping spark their curiosity through books and storytelling. One of her favorite children’s books is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. She believes in fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence while creating meaningful learning experiences that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Ms. Sharon is committed to building strong partnerships with families to support each child’s individual needs and celebrate their unique milestones. She looks forward to being part of each child’s early learning journey and helping them grow, learn, and shine.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Leslee has been a Lead Infant Teacher for 1½ years and has loved every moment of working with children. She enjoys building strong connections with parents and creating a warm, trusting environment for every family. Working with infants is especially rewarding for Ms. Leslee because she gets to support and celebrate their growth as they reach new developmental and motor skill milestones each day. She is experienced in supporting infants through the many transitions from 6 weeks to 1 year old, including introducing solids, sleep regressions, and bottle-feeding changes, while ensuring each child feels comfortable, supported, and cared for. Ms. Leslee is grateful to be part of The Goddard School family and looks forward to meeting all the new families and little ones who come her way!

    Ms. Briana is a dedicated early childhood teacher with 8 years of experience working in childcare. Her passion for caring for young children was inspired by her grandmother, who warmly welcomed and cared for neighborhood children as if they were her own. That example of unconditional care shaped Briana’s approach to teaching and nurturing children today. As a mother of four, Ms. Briana brings both professional expertise and personal understanding of children’s needs at different stages of development. She values creating a supportive, loving environment where children feel safe, seen, and encouraged to grow. One of her favorite children’s books is Pete the Cat: Pizza Party, which reflects her fun, engaging approach to learning and storytelling in the classroom.

    Ms. Sara has 3 years of hands-on experience in early childhood education and is passionate about creating a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. She believes every child thrives when surrounded by genuine care, meaningful connections, and opportunities to learn through play and discovery. Ms. Sara enjoys incorporating her love of music, painting, and nature into the classroom through creative activities that inspire curiosity, confidence, and imagination. Whether through art, movement, or outdoor exploration, she strives to make learning fun, purposeful, and enriching for every child. Her goal is to support each child’s social, emotional, and developmental growth while helping foster a lifelong love of learning.

As a parent of two wonderful children, she brings a nurturing perspective and a deep understanding of early childhood development to her role. While her professional teaching journey is just beginning, She has spent years fostering learning and growth in her own home. She is especially excited to support children as they build confidence, form new friendships, and explore their creativity each day. Ms, Nandini looks forward to engaging students through meaningful crafts, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences.
