Dasha
Assistant Director
I graduated from the University of Washington and received my Bachelor’s in Psychology, with a minor in Teaching, Education and Justice. Currently working on my Master’s in Child Psychology at well. My schooling taught me much about child development, mental health, and serving my community. However, I believe that it’s my experience working with communities in which I’ve learned the most. When individuals ask me how long I’ve worked with children, my response is since I was a child. Growing up my parents owned an eco-therapeutic farm where we taught lesson plans at schools in relation to how working with both agriculture and livestock can be holistic for your mind as well as your body. Since, I have worked in a variety of school settings, as well as in mental health support-related childcare settings. Some of my knowledge outside of childcare includes ASL, ABA therapy techniques, and creating modified behavior plans. Outside of work, I enjoy my time with my two corgis and family.
