Meet Alissa & Michael Onsite Owner
Michael and Alissa are the proud parents of three children, all of whom have attended The Goddard School. Alissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Elementary Education and began her career in education in 2001. She always dreamed of opening her own school, starting as a preschool teacher, then an Educational Director. In 2016, her dream became a reality when she and Michael became the owners of The Goddard School in Leander. Michael has a strong background in finance and organizational leadership and has also coached his children’s soccer, T-ball, and football teams. Together, they are dedicated to making your family’s Goddard experience exceptional, fostering a love for learning in your child, and creating an environment where they look forward to coming to school every day.

Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
First Steps
12 - 18 m
We support and encourage children to confidently explore and develop new skills, language and ideas.
Toddlers
18 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Twos
2 - 3 yrs
In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.
Bridge
3 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs
As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
We have been at the Goddard School Leander for almost 4 years now and have 2 kids there along with cousins who attend as well. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this school! All the teachers and staff are amazing and so kind. I love that they all know my sons name even teachers who he has not been in class with stop and say hello or goodbye and always remember his name. It makes me feel so confident in leaving my kids in their care! I recommend them every time I get the chance!
Goddard has provided a great environment for our child and there has always been a ton of support for her development. I also love how the school puts on events and truly makes you feel like you get a lot of value for the money you spend for your child. Ms. Siham is amazing and we're just so grateful.
We have enjoyed Goddard so much! We have nothing but good things to say about the school. The teachers are phenomenal and intentional. All the teachers know our kids and I love how personal they have made our experience!
We are so thrilled with our experience at Goddard! The teachers are truly dedicated and engage with the kids in a way that makes learning fun and impactful. The projects they do are creative and educational, giving the children a chance to explore new ideas. We also love the communication between the school and parents—it's always clear and timely, ensuring we're always in the loop. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!
Goddard is the most amazing school in every way, they take extra great care of every child and go out of their way to make sure every experience we have is awesome.

Our experience with Goddard has far exceeded what we expected when we started in 2021. The teachers a fantastic and show care and concern for our kid’s learning as well as wellbeing. The teachers are really good at what they do and the administrators are really organized and knowledgeable. I was surprised that most of the teachers/ administrators know both of my kid’s names.
Our daughter loves this school. She never wants to leave and she talks to us about the wonderful this she is learning. The communication to us from the Admin is superb.
