Our Goddard School Teachers

Hello! We’re Asim and Samrina, proud owners of The Goddard School of Garland. As parents, we understand the importance of a nurturing, safe, and education-focused environment where children can thrive. Our passion for early childhood education is rooted in our family values and professional backgrounds—Asim brings experience from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, holds degrees in Accounting, Finance, and an MBA, and has a lifelong commitment to education through his own private school upbringing and board service. Samrina, with both a Bachelor's and Master's in Public Health and experience at the CDC, is dedicated to child wellness, safety, and development. We were inspired by The Goddard School’s philosophy of learning through joyful discovery and feel privileged to support families and be part of the Garland community.

My name is Charice Vinluan, and it is a true honor to introduce myself as the Director of the newly built Goddard School of Garland. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community and to help create a school where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn every single day. For the past twenty years, I have dedicated my career to supporting young children and families. I began as a classroom teacher and eventually moved into roles as a mentor teacher, curriculum director, and director of admissions. Every step of that journey has shaped the educator and leader I am today. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to two wonderful children. Being a parent reminds me of the trust families place in us, and it guides the way I lead our school with empathy and care. I look forward to getting to know our families and community partners as we grow a school that reflects the warmth and spirit of The Goddard School.
