    Mr Kam

    Owner
    Kam has proudly owned and operated The Goddard School since its opening in 2008. His decision to build the school was deeply rooted in his love for family and his commitment to creating a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for children. Kam holds a Bachelor of Science in General Science from the University of Oregon, with minors in Biology and Chemistry.

    Ms Nershana

    Owner
    Nershana is a key point of contact for families, ensuring that communication between school and home is clear, timely, and compassionate. She works closely with staff to maintain a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for all children enrolled in our school. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Nershana brings both academic insight and a deep understanding of how to support families through every stage of their child’s early education journey.
  • Ms Megan

    Ms Megan

    Center Director
    Ms. Megan graduated from Friendswood High School in 2010 and is now working on finishing her mathematics degree at San Jacinto Community College. Megan has been in early childhood education for seven years, she has worked with children of all ages, but her favorite has always been the three-year-olds. The passion comes from "watching their faces light up when they finally figure something out" and the excitement of doing things independently. In her free time, she likes to relax with a good book or spend time with her husband and two pets: Gizzy and Toodles as well as shower her two nephews with love, fun and gifts. When it comes to getting involved with childcare Ms. Megan wanted to make a difference in children's lives. She wanted to teach and watch them grow and learn to be amazing grownups who will someday take over the world and make it a better place. "Children are our future" - Megan
  • Ms Kayla

    Ms Kayla

    Administrative Assistant
    Ms. Kayla graduated from Prairie View A&M University majoring in Mass Communications and minoring in Sociology. Before starting and after finishing college she dedicated lots of time to teaching elementary students during after school programs. Kayla also spent time babysitting neighborhood kids ranging from various ages during this time. When it comes to teaching, it’s in her blood. She comes from a generation of school teachers and to her, the joy of bonding and being a part of the mental, physical and intellectual growth of the next generation is a beautiful thing. When Kayla is not in teacher mode, she enjoys playing the piano and violin as well as video games. She also loves binge watching shows and creating varies videos and pictures through adobe.
  • Ms Chelsea

    Ms Chelsea

    Infant Teacher
    Ms. Chelsea has been working with children for 11 years, 4 of those years have been in the infant room which she loves. She is CPR certified and would like to pursue getting her CDA in the near future. Music in crafting is a big passion of Chelsea's, and she likes to bring that aspect to her classrooms, stating "Engaging young children in art is a great way for children to learn even at such a young age". Fun fact, though Chelsea does not have children of her own she does have one dog and two cats, one of which has 26 toes.

    Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Kenya never really saw herself as a teacher, but has always gravitated to doing something with children. About 4 years ago, she decided to start a career in early childhood education and never looked back! She loves coming to work, "It doesn't feel like a job, it feels like I come to enjoy what I love doing." She loves the bonds she makes with her toddlers and figuring out what they want and need. Ms. Kenya is a warm light for the children she teaches. The Goddard School of Friendswood is excited to have her as our toddler teacher!
  • Ms Gabrielle

    Ms Gabrielle

    Twos Teacher
    Ms. Gabby has been in early childhood education for a little less than a year, but has been caring for children since 2021. She has a passion for education and when teaching her toddlers, she shows them nothing but patience and kindness. When she isn't teaching her toddlers, she likes to hang out with her family and cook. She wants to someday go to culinary school and become a chef!

    Bridge Teacher
    Ms. Terrion has been working with children for several years now, helping them with creative arts involvement, behavior management, stem readiness and more. Some of her favorite hobbies are working out, listening to music and being with family.
  • Ms Madison

    Ms Madison

    Preschool Teacher
    Ms. Madison finished high school and immediately started working at different daycares so she could become familiar with the ends and outs of teaching kids. She continues her education in college working on a degree to one day become a 3rd grade teacher. Ms. Madison loves to read, fish and swim when she isn't in the classroom. One of her dreams for the future is to "get married and have a bunch of kids".
  • Ms Melinda

    Ms Melinda

    School Age Teacher
    Ms. Melinda was born and raised in a small town in Mississippi. Growing up her grandmother ran a daycare which Ms. Melinda would visit every summer learning different skills to take care of babies. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in psychology, afterwards having 2 different internships where she was later offered a position. She worked at a nursing home for 20 years and later worked as a social worker for the elderly for 6 years. After raising 3 kids on her own and them leaving the nest, she realized her happiest moments were being able to teach her children and watch them grow into loving people.
  • Ms Soraida

    Ms Soraida

    Substitute Teacher
    Ms. Sarah is a mother of four adult children plus a grandmother of four more, two teenagers and two toddlers. She has been working in childcare in one way or another for many years. She has worked with many churches through their summer programs, children’s church, and their nursery childcare. She has also worked with the local MOPS programs and was a substitute for several schools in our area. She is a creative person, so she enjoys all forms of art along with all kinds of crafting. She has a passion for sharing her creativity with children. She looks forward to her time in the outdoors; camping with her family is one of her favorite times. Ms. Sarah believes it is important to provide children with a safe, fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. She absolutely loves working with children of all ages. She counts it a privilege to be in each one of their lives.
  • Ms Ebone

    Ms Ebone

    Resource
    Ms. Ebone started her journey in early childhood education back in 2012. She worked with PreK3 and Prek4 which pushed her to pursue her CDA in 2015 and eventually her director's license in 2019. When Ms. Ebone is not in the classroom, she is a part time Uber driver for her nine-year-old son, taking him to soccer games, football games and track tournaments. After that busy schedule you can find her binge-watching shows and eating street tacos.
  • Ms Stacy

    Ms Stacy

    Kitchen Manager
    Ms. Stacy worked with children at a mental health clinic and had a joy in watching them learn new skills and grow into wonderful people. Now that she is our kitchen manager, the smiles the kids give her when she brings their lunch makes her feel like the best person in the world. With three children of her own, Ms. Stacy and her husband are avid cruisers going on at least one every year. Reading, traveling and swimming are her top things to do in her free time, and you can always catch her at a seafood or mexican restaurant.
  • Ms Ma'Kalyin

    Ms Ma'Kalyin

    Pre-K Teacher
    Ms. Mak has been teaching for a few years now and is finishing up her bachelor's degree in human resources at Lamar University. She hopes to continue her education getting her master's at Texas Southern University. Ms. Mak enjoys trying new food places, journaling and reading books. One of her heroes is her mom because she has never seen her give up on any of her goals and continues to push her and her siblings to follow their dreams.

    Twos Teacher
    Ms. Awtiawna is originally from Kansas City, MO. The ability to teach a child new words, functions and even the chance to try new things is her goal in childcare. She enjoys art and music in the classroom and loves watching YouTube and playing video games in her spare time with her daughter. She is currently in school to become a dental assistant to help your teeth in the future.
  • Ms Khai

    Infant Teacher
    Ms. Khai has worked, volunteered and interned at several early learning centers. Her experience includes caring for children 5 months to 12 years old. Her hobbies include watching movies, TV shows, baking, cooking, and self-care activities. Ms. Khai's hero is her mother because of her hard-work and dedication to her career. Her favorite foods include Korean and Italian foods. Ms. Khai has a very large family spanning from coast to coast!
