Our Teachers

Kam has been the owner of The Goddard School since we opened in 2008. Family is the basis behind his decision to build a Goddard School. Kam attended the University of Oregon where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Science with a minor in Biology and Chemistry

Recognizing the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment, Nershana assists with efforts to provide a high quality program for the children enrolled in our school. She has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.

Ms. Erin has worked in many childcare roles over the years, ranging from homeschooling and raising her 5 children to running her own licensed in-home facility for 7 years to being a manager at primrose and now the center director here at Goddard. Ms. Erin loves everything outdoors, sports related, going to concerts and hanging out with her little ones and family. She is very family oriented which is why there is no surprise that her passion is caring for children and watching them learn, discover and grow into their own individual self.

Mrs. Esther began her career in Early Childhood Development in 2005 as a teacher in the classroom, and quickly realized that she loved working with children, families and curriculum. She has worked at multiple childcare facilities, including two Goddard Schools. She attended Alvin Community College for Businesss Administration and Child Development Administration. She has her Director's License, her Child Development Administration Certification, and a Child Development Associate, specializing in infants. She has also recently completed her CDA coursework specializing in Preschool. She has been happily married since 2009 and has three children of her own. On her off time she likes to do home projects, garden and plan family gatherings.

Ms. Kayla graduated from Prairie View A&M University majoring in Mass Communications and minoring in Sociology. Before starting and after finishing college she dedicated lots of time to teaching elementary students during after school programs. Kayla also spent time babysitting neighborhood kids ranging from various ages during this time. When it comes to teaching, it’s in her blood. She comes from a generation of school teachers and to her, the joy of bonding and being a part of the mental, physical and intellectual growth of the next generation is a beautiful thing. When Kayla is not in teacher mode, she enjoys playing the piano and violin as well as video games. She also loves binge watching shows and creating varies videos and pictures through adobe.

Ms. Grace graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2019 and is currently working towards a Bachelors in Human Resource Management accompanied with a teaching certification. Prior to working at The Goddard School, Ms. Grace was a nanny for two years. She loves being able to form genuine connections with the children and their families as she watches them learn and grow. Outside of work and school, you can find her with family and friends, at a concert, or making earrings for herself and friends.

Ms. Anna has worked in school cafeterias for all ages, Pre-K through high school, and she loves it. the highlight of the job is getting to watch the kids grow as well as getting to know each and every one of them. On her spare time, she enjoys keeping her 8 grandkids, going shopping and dabbling in crafts. Ms. Anna's hero is her father who grew up with 15 siblings who some didn't know how to read but still kept a steady job and provided for her family. She married her husband at the age of 48 and is enjoying life and trips to the beach and waterparks whenever she can.

Ms. Isabella is a positive and happy spirited person who always has a smile on her face. Ms. Bella was a teacher aide for fourth grade and pre-k and felt this was her passion, to be able to teach them great habits and life lessons. During her free time, she loves to plant beautiful flowers, clean and tidy up, and hang out with friends.

Ms. Amanda is a proud mother of two kids that love the outdoors and to travel just as much as she does. She has a long history of working in the medical field with a new passion for childcare development and a possible future in the military alongside her fiancé that is a general in the marine corps. Ms. Amanda's heart and passion has always been to help cultivate young developing minds, so she feels the Goddard School is the perfect place to do so.

Ms. Yamileth grew up with a big family full of siblings, nieces and nephews. Some of her teaching experience comes from babysitting her nieces and nephews as well as helping out with kids at different church events. In her spare time, you can find her watching tv, listening to music or painting.

Ms. Jill started out her career in childcare in her early 20's working at several different facilities for a few years. She then started a new journey and worked 14 years in various positions in security. Ms. jills love for children never left and after all those years she says, " God called her back to early childcare". She has always loved spending time with kids and thinks they have a way of teaching you what is important in life. In her free time, you can find Ms. Jill making candles and crafts.

Ms. Melinda was born and raised in a small town in Mississippi. Growing up her grandmother ran a daycare which Ms. Melinda would visit every summer learning different skills to take care of babies. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in psychology, afterwards having 2 different internships where she was later offered a position. She worked at a nursing home for 20 years and later worked as a social worker for the elderly for 6 years. After raising 3 kids on her own and them leaving the nest, she realized her happiest moments were being able to teach her children and watch them grow into loving people.

Ms. Amberle graduated from Trinity University majoring in Latin and minoring in Spanish. During college she taught elementary students in an after-school program for a year. Shortly after college she gained experience teaching infants and toddlers at a daycare creating realization to how much she loves teaching children. In Ms. Amberle's free time she enjoys spending time with her four younger siblings, reading, crocheting and playing the flute.

Ms. Helena graduated from Dickinson High School in 2024. In school she participated in choir, JROTC, and sculpting, allowing her to develop diverse skills and interest. Shortly after graduating she started babysitting for 8-9 years and recently started working in the daycare industry. In Ms. Helena spare time she enjoys being with family and friends and writing poetry. She comes from a large family being the second oldest of six and the aunt to 7 wonderful nieces and nephews who she adores. Coming to Goddard Ms. Helena wants to share her love of singing and writing with the children and hopes to be able to teach them skills they will use even beyond Goddard.

Ms. Erreel has experience working with young children in both home and learning center-based environments. she is also currently pursuing coursework in early childhood education. Ms. Erreel is passionate about helping children grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Erreel's main goal is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where every child feels safe, seen, and valued. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, taking nature walks, painting and eating pasta.

Ms. Lorrie has years of childcare experience, most recently she worked in the infant room at Children's Only followed by being a full-time floater there. She enjoys being able to learn with all of the children as well as introducing them to new ways of learning. Ms. Lorrie has two loving children of her own giving her four granddaughters who she enjoys going to the beach with, eating seafood and taking walks.

Ms. Alysse is furthering her career in teaching, taking classes at ACC in Houston. She started finding her passion of teaching a few years ago while working in daycares and babysitting her nephews. Ms. Alysse is big on spending time with her family and friends, going to trips, to the movies, to the gym and eating good food. She loves the joy kids get when they have learned something new and being part of the reason a child is smiling of joy.

Ms. Ebone started her journey in early childhood education back in 2012. She worked with PreK3 and Prek4 which pushed her to pursue her CDA in 2015 and eventually her director's license in 2019. When Ms. Ebone is not in the classroom, she is a part time Uber driver for her nine-year-old son, taking him to soccer games, football games and track tournaments. After that busy schedule you can find her binge-watching shows and eating street tacos.
