    Owner
    Kam has been the owner of The Goddard School since we opened in 2008. Family is the basis behind his decision to build a Goddard School. Kam attended the University of Oregon where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Science with a minor in Biology and Chemistry

    Ms Nershana

    Owner
    Recognizing the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment, Nershana assists with efforts to provide a high quality program for the children enrolled in our school. She has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
  • Ms Erin

    Ms Erin

    Center Director
    Ms. Erin has worked in many childcare roles over the years, ranging from homeschooling and raising her 5 children to running her own licensed in-home facility for 7 years to being a manager at primrose and now the center director here at Goddard. Ms. Erin loves everything outdoors, sports related, going to concerts and hanging out with her little ones and family. She is very family oriented which is why there is no surprise that her passion is caring for children and watching them learn, discover and grow into their own individual self.
  • Ms Esther

    Education Director
    Mrs. Esther began her career in Early Childhood Development in 2005 as a teacher in the classroom, and quickly realized that she loved working with children, families and curriculum. She has worked at multiple childcare facilities, including two Goddard Schools. She attended Alvin Community College for Businesss Administration and Child Development Administration. She has her Director's License, her Child Development Administration Certification, and a Child Development Associate, specializing in infants. She has also recently completed her CDA coursework specializing in Preschool. She has been happily married since 2009 and has three children of her own. On her off time she likes to do home projects, garden and plan family gatherings.

    Administrative Assistant
    Ms. Kayla graduated from Prairie View A&M University majoring in Mass Communications and minoring in Sociology. Before starting and after finishing college she dedicated lots of time to teaching elementary students during after school programs. Kayla also spent time babysitting neighborhood kids ranging from various ages during this time. When it comes to teaching, it’s in her blood. She comes from a generation of school teachers and to her, the joy of bonding and being a part of the mental, physical and intellectual growth of the next generation is a beautiful thing. When Kayla is not in teacher mode, she enjoys playing the piano and violin as well as video games. She also loves binge watching shows and creating varies videos and pictures through adobe.

    Pre-K Teacher
    Ms. Grace graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2019 and is currently working towards a Bachelors in Human Resource Management accompanied with a teaching certification. Prior to working at The Goddard School, Ms. Grace was a nanny for two years. She loves being able to form genuine connections with the children and their families as she watches them learn and grow. Outside of work and school, you can find her with family and friends, at a concert, or making earrings for herself and friends.

    Ms. Jennifer is a proud graduate of Alvin High School. She has always wanted to work with children because it makes her happy to see their little smiles. Ms. Jennifer gets her childcare experience from caring for her baby brother on her free time. When she is not spending time with family, she loves to work out at the gym because of the rewarding feeling.

    Preschool Teacher
    Ms. Isabella is a positive and happy spirited person who always has a smile on her face. Ms. Bella was a teacher aide for fourth grade and pre-k and felt this was her passion, to be able to teach them great habits and life lessons. During her free time, she loves to plant beautiful flowers, clean and tidy up, and hang out with friends.

    Kitchen Manager
    Ms. Anna has worked in school cafeterias for all ages, Pre-K through high school, and she loves it. the highlight of the job is getting to watch the kids grow as well as getting to know each and every one of them. On her spare time, she enjoys keeping her 8 grandkids, going shopping and dabbling in crafts. Ms. Anna's hero is her father who grew up with 15 siblings who some didn't know how to read but still kept a steady job and provided for her family. She married her husband at the age of 48 and is enjoying life and trips to the beach and waterparks whenever she can.

    School Age Teacher
    Ms. Melinda was born and raised in a small town in Mississippi. Growing up her grandmother ran a daycare which Ms. Melinda would visit every summer learning different skills to take care of babies. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in psychology, afterwards having 2 different internships where she was later offered a position. She worked at a nursing home for 20 years and later worked as a social worker for the elderly for 6 years. After raising 3 kids on her own and them leaving the nest, she realized her happiest moments were being able to teach her children and watch them grow into loving people.
  • Ms Amanda

    Bridge Teacher
    Ms. Amanda is a proud mother of two kids that love the outdoors and to travel just as much as she does. She has a long history of working in the medical field with a new passion for childcare development and a possible future in the military alongside her fiancé that is a general in the marine corps. Ms. Amanda's heart and passion has always been to help cultivate young developing minds, so she feels the Goddard School is the perfect place to do so.
  • Ms Angie

    Twos Teacher
    Ms. Angie is a Yes Prep 2020 high school graduate. She attended college and afterwards worked at a shipping company. After a year or two she got the opportunity to work to work in different schools with all age groups, and she absolutely loved it. Ms. Angie has been a joy in the classroom since she's been here. One of her many passions other than being an amazing teacher is baking and watching the joy on people's faces as they enjoy her goods.

    Bridge Teacher
    Ms. Yamileth grew up with a big family full of siblings, nieces and nephews. Some of her teaching experience comes from babysitting her nieces and nephews as well as helping out with kids at different church events. In her spare time, you can find her watching tv, listening to music or painting.

    Bridge Teacher
    Ms. Jamie is a new mom and currently studying Early Childhood Education online at Grand Canyon University. She plans to become a possible kindergarten teacher. Ms. Jamie has dreamed of becoming a preschool -elementary school teacher and is filled with excitement to be gaining some experience at Goddard.
  • Ms Gayle

    Ms Gayle

    Bridge Teacher
    Ms. Gayle is originally from Louisiana but has been living in Texas since 1996. She has 30 years of teaching experience, 14 of those years were at a charter school as a teaching assistant. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends going shopping, to the movies and to Barnes and noble. Ms. Gayle is excited to bring her teaching experience to Goddard and share all her love and fun with the kids.
