Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Husna is the on-site owner of The Goddard School – Rock Creek. As a proud mother of two children and grandmother to one wonderful grandson, she understands how important it is for families to find a school where their children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where children can thrive, teachers feel valued, and families feel confident in their choice of care. Her commitment to quality early childhood education helps guide the vision and culture of our school community. Outside of Goddard, Mrs. Husna enjoys photography, reading, and cooking for her family. She believes that strong relationships, lifelong learning, and a sense of community are at the heart of every successful school.

As Director, Ms. Zainab is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. With a passion for early childhood education, she works closely with families and staff to ensure every child receives the care, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive. As the mother of a toddler, Ms. Zainab understands firsthand the trust families place in their child's school each day. This perspective helps guide her commitment to providing a positive, engaging learning experience for every child. She believes that the early years are the foundation for a lifelong love of learning and feels honored to be part of each family's journey.

Ms. Jeri brings four years of experience as an early childhood educator. She began her journey in the Get Set classroom as an assistant teacher at the Cypress I location and later advanced to the lead teacher role. Ms. Jeri holds an Associate of the Art of Teaching from Lonestar community college and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston Downtown. In addition to her teaching experience, she has over 20 years of expertise in sales and customer service. Ms. Jeri has a passion for early education and is deeply committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences for young children.

Ms. Patty is the heart of our school kitchen, preparing nutritious meals and snacks that help keep our students happy, healthy, and ready to learn. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and enjoys knowing that the meals she serves play an important role in each child's day. With a caring spirit and a passion for serving others, Ms. Patty loves being part of the school community and seeing the smiles on children's faces at mealtime. She is dedicated to providing delicious, balanced meals and helping make our school feel like a home away from home.

Ms. Monica is our Lead Infants teacher at The Goddard School – Rock Creek. She has worked with children for over 17 years and believes that children teach us more than we teach them. Continuously amazed by their development, Ms. Monica thinks that children are a source of inspiration and learning overall.

Ms. Norma is the lead teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. Ms. Norma has over 11 years of experience as an early childhood educator. She is a Certified Medical Assistant and graduated from California College. She is currently pursuing her CDA and has also worked with all age groups. She believes that children are our future and if you teach them well and love them, they will have a bright future ahead of them. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family, two dogs, and friends.

Ms. Marissa is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She has a passion for working with young children and enjoys helping them learn, grow, and reach new milestones each day. In her free time, Ms. Marissa loves painting and spending quality time with her friends and family. She is excited to continue learning, growing, and making a positive impact as part of The Goddard School family.

Ms. Sarrah is the Lead Teacher in our Toddler classroom and brings over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. She is passionate about creating a warm, engaging environment where toddlers can learn, explore, and build confidence through hands-on, creative activities. Ms. Sarrah loves watching each child reach new milestones and believes every day is an opportunity for growth and discovery. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her two children, who keep her active and inspired. She is excited to help every child develop a lifelong love of learning while making them feel safe, supported, and cared for each day.

Ms. Abria is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set classroom and has over 7 years of experience in early childhood education. She is passionate about nurturing young learners and creating a supportive environment where children feel confident, capable, and encouraged to grow. Ms. Abria has a special talent for guiding children through potty training with patience, consistency, and encouragement, helping families navigate this important milestone with confidence. She enjoys planning engaging, hands-on activities that promote independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Her compassionate nature and dedication to each child's success make her a valued member of The Goddard School family.

Ms. Yuri is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set 2 classroom and is dedicated to helping young children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. She creates a warm, engaging classroom where every child feels supported as they develop new skills through hands-on activities, play, and exploration. Ms. Yuri enjoys celebrating each child's unique personality and milestones while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and kindness. Her patient, caring approach helps children thrive both socially and academically, and she is proud to be a part of their early learning journey at The Goddard School.

Ms. Serena is the Lead Preschool Teacher at The Goddard School – Rock Creek and has been a valued member of the Goddard family for over three years. She is passionate about creating hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and help children develop a lifelong love of learning. Known affectionately as "Rena" by her students, Ms. Serena is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with each child while fostering a warm, compassionate, and engaging classroom environment. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is always looking for new ways to bring creativity and fun into her teaching. Her caring nature, patience, and enthusiasm make her a wonderful guide for our preschool learners.

Ms. Shanna is the Lead Pre-K Teacher and brings more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education and childcare. She is passionate about working with young children and enjoys building meaningful relationships with each child in her classroom. Ms. Shanna is dedicated to supporting their growth, encouraging their curiosity, and celebrating every milestone and new discovery along the way. A proud mother of three daughters, ages 19, 14, and 8, Ms. Shanna lives in Magnolia, Texas. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and camping outdoors. She is excited to share her experience, enthusiasm, and love for learning with the children and families in her care.
