Our Goddard School Teachers

Hello Nashville Families! We are extremely excited to open The Goddard School of Nashville Yards and to be a part of such a great community. I am the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School and although it will be a new school, I bring over 15 years of ownership experience in Early Childhood Education. Del, my husband of 30+ years, and I are the proud Franchise Owners of four other prominent Goddard Schools in Metro Nashville. In addition to experience, I have an MBA from The Wharton School of Business (Univ of Penn) and an MPP from The University of Michigan. Most importantly, we have a heart for children and truly value the importance of high-quality education. At The Goddard School, we are committed to providing the best early childhood preparation for your child's academic and social success. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of Tennessee with a minor in Early Childhood Development. I have over 8 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Administrative Leadership. I have been married to my husband, Ryan, for 15 years. We have 3 children- Harper, Brooks & Collins, and a French Bulldog named Louie! In my free time, I like to go to the beach, cheer on the UT Vols, volunteer at my children's school and our church, and watch my kids play multiple sports. I have really enjoyed meeting all of our families, enrolling new students and leading this incredible staff. I am thrilled to be a part of the Nashville Yards community!

Bio

I hold an Associate's Degree in Social Work and have over 10 years of experience working with children. While I've worked with various age groups, I especially enjoy caring for infants and toddlers, helping them grow through nurturing care and early learning experiences. In my free time, I love trying new restaurants with my husband and doing fun activities with our two children. My favorite children's book is Dragons Love Tacos. It is known for it's humor and quirky illustrations.

With two years of experience working in childcare, I've had the joy of caring for infants through toddlers. I love creating a nurturing, fun and safe environment where little ones can grow and thrivve. Outside of work, I enjoy watching TV and exploring new foods. One of my favorite children's books is "Llama Llama Red Pajama". It is a sweet and relatable story that always brings smiles!

I’ve been working with children for a long time and have experience with all ages! I love creating a consistent routine while providing emotional security and support, helping children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son, tackling fun DIY projects, and trying new foods. My favorite children’s book is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom — a classic that never gets old!

I hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and bring over 11 years of experience working with children from infants through fifth grade. I also have valuable experience supporting children with special needs, and I'm passionate about creating inclusive and engaging learning environments for every child. In my free time, I love hiking and spending time in nature, as well as getting creative with my Cricut for crafting projects. One of my favorite children's books is "Harold and the Purple Crayon". It is a wonderful story that celebrates imagination and exploration.

Bio

I bring many years of experience caring for children, including extensive time with Goddard Schools. As an infant Educator, I am passionate about creating a loving, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. I'm also a proud mother of three and a grandmother to one, which has deepened my love and understanding of early childhood development. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, listening to music, dining out, swimming- and when I can, getting some well-earned rest! One of my favorite children's book series is anything by Dr. Suess. I love the playful rhymes, colorful illustrations, and meaningful messages.

I have a bachelor's degree in communication and am excited to be starting my journey in the field of early childhood development. While I am newer to this field, I'm passionate about learning and growing alongside the children I care for and creating meaningful connections long the way. In my free time, I enjoy grabbing coffee from Dutch Bros, organizing spaces, and relaxing whenever I can. My favorite children's book is "The Bad Seed"- a heartwarming story about change, growth and becoming your best self.

I majored in Early Childhood Development and have experience in caretaking, both professionally and as a proud mom to a fun-loving three year old boy. I'm passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. In my free time, I enjoy working out, skating, singing, and spending time with my loved ones. One of my favorite children's book series is anything by Dr. Seuss- I love the playful rhymes, colorful illustrations, and meaningful messages.

I have 9 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to Pre-K, as well as 1st and 2ns grade. I love helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally during these important years. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy coaching volleyball, painting and taking dance classes. My favorite children's book is "Olivia"- I love her big personality and adventurous spirit!

I have experience working with children, primarily ages 1 to 3, and I enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where little ones can thrive. I take pride in managing daily routines that support learning, development, and fun. In my free time, I love doing hair and cooking for friends and family. My favorite children's book is Junie B. Jones: Graduation Girl- a fun and relatable story full of personality and heart.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, and I have experience working with children of all ages- from infants to school aged. I love creating fun, safe, and engaging environments where children can grow, learn, and express themselves. In my free time, I enjoy exploring local parks, spending quality time with family and friends, and hosting game nights. My favorite children's book is Chicka Chika Boom Boom- a fun and rhythmic classic that never gets old!

I've been working in childcare for about 4 years and truly love what I do. Building meaningful relationships with the children is one of the most rewarding parts of my job- I enjoy getting to know each child's unique personality and watching them grow and learn every day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking new reciples, and playing video games. My favorite children's book is "Junie B Jones". Her s[unky personality and silly adventures always make me smile!

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and have spent my life working with children. I've had the joy of teaching theater, music, and academics to children ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years. I love using the arts to spark creativity and confidence in young learners. In my free time, I enjoy all things creative- whether it's music, art, or hands on projects. One of my favorite children's books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a delightful story that captures the wonder of learning and growth.

I have over 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and have worked with all age groups, spending most of my time with Toddlers and Pre-K. As the oldest of seven, teaching and caring for children has always come naturally to me! I love making a positive impact in young lives and creating a safe, nurturing where children can learn and grow. In my free time, I enjoy crafting (crocheting, making shirts and coloring) spending time with my little family, and going on adventures especially in the Mountains! My favorite book is The Giving Tree.

I have experience in caretaking and have worked with children of various ages, from infants to Pre-K. Being around little ones brings me so much joy- especially since I have 6 adorable nieces and nephews who keep me smiling and inspired! In my free time, I enjoy walking, visiting museums, crafting, and curling up with a good book. My favorite children's book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie- a fun and charming story that always sparks laughter and imagination.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree and have also begun my studies in Psychology. With over 3 years of experience in early childhood education- and having grown up with parents who were also involved in the field- my passion for working with young children comes naturally. In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog, swimming, and getting lost in a good book. My favorite children's book is The Polar Express- a magical story that celebrates the wonder and belief of childhood.

I have over two years of experience working with children and am also a proud parent of four. Caring for and supporting kids- both at home and in the classroom- is something I truly enjoy. I love helping children grow, learn, and discover the world around them. In my free time, I enjoy family game nights, playing and watching basketball, and taking time to relax. My favorite children's book is Grumpy Monkey- a fun and relatable story that reminds us it's okay to feel our feelings.
