Our Goddard School Teachers

Mr. Dave is our onsite owner of The Goddard School of Hendersonville. He has an Engineering Degree from West Virginia University and 20 years in sales with The Lincoln Electric Company. Mr. Dave is a proud father of twin boys and a daughter. Known as "Coach Dave" to many, he has served on several boards and coached various sports teams within our Hendersonville community. Dave works alongside his wife Kara, who has a strong background in education. She holds a BS and MS in Early Childhood Education and has over 25 years of experience in education administration. Her passion for early learning is rooted in both her professional background and her personal experience as a Goddard parent. Together, Dave and Kara are passionate about ensuring a top-notch academic and nurturing environment for your children.

Ms. Heather has been with The Goddard School of Hendersonville since July of 2012. She completed her undergraduate coursework in 2007 at Tuson College in Lancashire, England. She then obtained her CDA from Montclair State University in New Jersey. She was voted National Goddard Teacher of the Year in 2018! Since then she joined our Admin Team as the Assistant Director and continues to make our school better as our Director. Ms. Heather has lived in the Hendersonville community since 2012 with her family! You can catch her bowling or spending time at various events through her Church.

Ms. Katie has been with The Goddard School since 2017. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Kentucky University. Ms. Katie started with us as a Toddler Teacher and helped with various age groups throughout the years. She is our go-to person for classroom management and parent communication. She is now part of our Admin Team as our Assistant Director! Ms. Katie is a proud Goddard parent to her two daughters and enjoys spending her weekends exploring Nashville.

Ms. Angela has been with The Goddard School since 2022. She brings over 12 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education, coupled with three years of college towards her early childhood education degree. Her wealth of hands-on knowledge and commitment to nurturing young minds create a vibrant and engaging environment for preschoolers to learn and grow.

Ms. Sonja has been with the Goddard School since 2018. She came to us with over 16 years of experience and has her TECTA certification. Ms. Sonja has worked with many different age groups and has three grown children. Her JK students are always well-prepared and ready to start their Kindergarten journey. In her free time, she loves to watch sports and sewing. She is also a proud Goddard Grandparent!

Ms. Reyna joined The Goddard School in 2024 Starting her career in early childhood education in 2020, she is currently pursuing her associate's degree to further enhance her teaching skills. She is dedicated to creating a fun and engaging learning environment for her students Ms. Reyna is committed to helping her students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Outside the classroom, she loves building Legos and hanging out with her family. Her favorite children's book is Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss.

Mrs. Nicholle has been with The Goddard School since 2023. Mrs. Nicholle is a seasoned preschool teacher with 33 years of childcare experience. She started her degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys watching children's growth through learning and exploration. Outside the classroom, she enjoys family time and hiking adventures.

-Susan has been with the Goddard School since July 2022. She has harbored a lifelong passion for working with children, and she has dedicated herself to this vocation since her high school years. Her profound satisfaction stems from witnessing the growth and learning journey of children under her care. Susan takes immense delight in the moments when the children's faces radiate with excitement upon mastering new knowledge and skills.

Ms. Amy has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Belmont University. Her career in childcare spans five years, exclusively focused on the nurturing and development of infants. Amy brings invaluable expertise in infant development to our infant team. Her nurturing approach includes singing and interactive engagement with infants, fostering a sense of security and affection to ensure that they feel loved and cared for in their early developmental stages.

Ms. Charyse has been with Goddard since May 2023. Ms. Charyse has worked in child care for 4.5 years. She studied English Literature and Computer Science at the University of Denver. Her favorite thing about children is seeing them have their first "light bulb" moment. Knowing she can be apart of their journey of learning and discovery makes her so happy!

Ms. Sherri has been with The Goddard School since 2024. She has worked with multiple age groups and children with special needs throughout her career in early childhood education. She came to us from the Oakley Union School District in California. Ms. Sherri also enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and going to the movies. Her favorite children's book is "I'll Love You Forever".

Ms. Sara has been with The Goddard School since 2022. After being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, she is now working to complete her degree in computer science. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her children.

Ms. Anabelle joined The Goddard School in 2025. She studied psychology at Western Kentucky University before discovering children were her true passion. She has several years of experience working with children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and scrapbooking. Her favorite children's book is 'The Rainbow Fish'.

Ms. Kylee joined The Goddard School in 2026. After attending school for cosmetology, she discovered her true passion working with children. She has over 9 years of experience working with children. Her calming demeanor and dedication to education are evident in her classroom. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crocheting and bingeing her favorite TV shows.

Mrs. Kayla joined The Goddard School in 2021. She worked with toddlers and Infants at The Goddard School of Gallatin before stepping into the office coordinator position at Hendersonville in 2025. She has her bachelor's degree in early childhood developmental psychology from Austin Peay State University. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, being outdoors and spending time with her husband and daughter. Kayla is a proud Goddard parent!

Ms. Abbie joined The Goddard School in 2025 and had over six years of experience in the early childhood education field. She discovered her love of working with children as a nanny and then branched out to the classroom. Her positive, fun-loving attitude brings the children in her classroom a desire to be at school. In her spare time Abbie loves to cheer on the Tennessee Vols and spend time outdoors.

Ms. Ashley joined The Goddard School in 2025. She has worked with children since 2020 and has also acquired her TECTA credentials. Her warm and nurturing nature creates a positive and creative environment in her classroom. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her daughter. She is a proud Goddard parent.

Ms. Rosa joined The Goddard School in 2025. After caring for her nieces, nephews and five children of her own, she found her passion teaching young children. Her positive attitude and drive for teaching creates an enriching environment in every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and going on walks.

Ms. Ayrn joined The Goddard School in 2025. She has her Associates of Science degree from Volunteer State Community College and has over three years of experience working with children. Her calm and gentle nature creates a positive learning environment in the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys making crafts with her son, making pottery and spending time with her puppies.

Ms. Haley joined The Goddard School in 2025. She completed her veterinary degree, then discovered her true passion working with children. Her fun and easy-going nature creates a positive and creative learning environment in her classroom. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing and outdoor activities. Ms. Haley is a proud Goddard parent.

Ms. Fallon joined The Goddard School in 2025. After attending college for Political Science in California and Arizona, she found her true passion teaching young children. Fallon has experience as a teacher, nanny and Sunday school teacher. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her daughter. She is a proud Goddard parent.

Ms. Litzi joined The Goddard School in 2025 and came with over three years of experience working with children. Litzi's calm and loving demeanor is infectious to all of the children in her classroom. When Litzi is not at school, she enjoys reading, hiking, baking and spending time with her son. She is also a proud Goddard Parent.

Ms. Tarisa joined The Goddard School in 2025. She is currently working toward obtaining her bachelor's degree in education. Tarisa brings a passion to teach and strives for each child in her classroom to be as successful as they can be. In her free time, Tarisa enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family. Tarisa is also a proud Goddard parent.

Ms. Annabelle joined The Goddard School in 2025. She currently attends Middle Tennessee State University as she works to obtain her degree in early childhood education. She has several years of experience working with young children as a babysitter as well as a teacher's assistant for elementary school students. In her spare time, she enjoys dance and spending time with her friends and family.

Ms. Lindi has been with The Goddard School since 2025. She found her love of children while babysitting and teaching preschool at her church. Her attentive nature creates a positive and creative environment in every classroom she visits. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends.

Ms. Marta joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has over twenty years of experience working with young children as well as an associate's degree in child development. Her enthusiastic personality lights up every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, reading, volunteering through her church and spending time with her family

Ms. Edna joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has over 34 years of experience working with children of all ages and she is a mom of five. Her sweet and nurturing personality lights up her classroom, creating an environment in which infants thrive. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, organizing, shopping and going to church.

Ms. Leigh joined The Goddard School in 2026. She holds a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in cinema from Ole Miss, as well as a master's degree in education from the University of Tennessee. With over 10 years of experience working in various positions including a tutor, elementary and middle school teacher, home healthcare worker, nanny, librarian, camp counselor, Sunday school teacher, and daycare teacher at multiple centers, she comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in working with young children. Her can-do attitude and positive personality create the learning environment in which children thrive. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, attending plays, and writing. She is also a published author!

Ms. Lorna joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has experience working with young children and truly enjoys seeing them learn and grow. Her sweet and caring personality create a positive learning environment in which her students thrive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, baking and DIY.

Amber joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has an associate of science degree and over 7 years of experience working with young children. Her love for children and education shines in every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys reading, binging her favorite TV shows, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Evelyn joined The Goddard School in 2026. After graduating with her degree in business administration from Georgia State University, she moved to Tennessee and found her true passion working with young children. Her infectious smile and can-do attitude foster a true love for learning and light up every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, working out, and spending time with her husband and son. Evelyn is a proud Goddard parent!

Ms. Kylie joined The Goddard School in 2026. She came to us with over five years of experience working with young children. Her nurturing and caring nature is evident in every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and working out.

Ms. Rylee joined The Goddard School in 2025. She has experience working with young children of all ages. She has also worked as an assistant in elementary school classrooms. Her sweet and nurturing personality creates a safe learning environment that is evident in every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys dance, yoga, Pilates, shopping and attending concerts.

Ms. Ellie joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has experience working with children of all ages. Her fun and energetic personality encourages a love for learning in her classroom. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in her community and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Joselyn joined The Goddard School in 2026. She comes to us with over three years of experience working with children with special needs. She currently majors in psychology at The University of Chattanooga. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, thrifting, and spending time with friends.

Ms. Ashley joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has an associate's degree in art and comes to us with experience as a private nanny. Her calming nature creates a positive learning environment in every classroom she visits. In her free time, she enjoys running her own business creating book themed items.

Ms. Caleigh joined The Goddard School in 2026. She has over five years of experience working with young children and enjoys seeing them grow and reach their milestones. Her kind nature fosters a safe learning environment in every classroom that she visits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her daughter and going to the movies.
