Meet Mr. Dave, the dedicated onsite owner of The Goddard School of Hendersonville. He has an Engineering Degree from West Virginia University and 20 years in sales with The Lincoln Electric Company. He is passionate about ensuring a top-notch academic and nurturing environment for your children. Mr. Dave is a proud father of twin boys and a daughter. Known as "Coach Dave" to many, he has served on several boards and coached various sports teams within our Hendersonville community. Alongside his wife Kara, who is the Onsite Owner at the Gallatin School, Dave is committed to offering an exceptional early childhood education experience. Ms. Heather has been with The Goddard School of Hendersonville since July of 2012. She completed undergraduate coursework in 2007 at Tuson College in Lancashire, England. She then obtained her CDA from Montclair State University in New Jersey. She has worked with children in a variety of settings since the turn of the century. Some of her experience has been as an Au Pair and as a teacher in various preschools, including Wyckoff Christian School and The Goddard School in New Jersey. Ms. Heather has made a huge impact on many of the families who have come through The Goddard School of Hendersonville during her time as a teacher. She was voted National Goddard Teacher of the Year in 2018. Ms. Heather continues to make our school better as our Assistant Director.

Ms. Katie has been with The Goddard School since 2017. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Kentucky University. Ms. Katie brings years of valuable experience in child development, gained through her undergraduate studies and hands-on work with children. As both a professional in early education and a proud Goddard Parent, Ms. Katie is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children thrive and families feel supported.

Ms. Kat has been with The Goddard School since 2016. She has her Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts. Ms. Kat began her career as a toddler teacher at The Goddard School of Hendersonville school, bringing her passion for nurturing young minds to life. With a background in sales and marketing at companies like Walt Disney World, Nintendo, and Dell Technologies, Ms. Kat now serves as our Events and Experience Manager for both The Gallatin and Hendersonville Goddard SChools. As a proud Goddard Parent, she understands the importance of fostering a supportive environment for children to thrive.

Ms. Christy has been with The Goddard School since 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Western Kentucky University. With a strong educational foundation, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for early childhood education to the classroom. Ms. Christy is dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning among her students.

Ms. Theresa has been with The Goddard School since 2022. She has an incredible 44 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. She has completed three years of college focusing on early childhood education, allowing her to shape young minds with a deep understanding of their developmental needs and a passion for fostering a love of learning.

Ms. Sonja has been with the Goddard School since 2018. She has over 16 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education and is a seasoned educator committed to nurturing young minds. She holds a TECTA certification, demonstrating her expertise in creating enriching and supportive learning environments for children. Ms. Sonja is passionate about fostering a love for learning while providing a caring and stimulating atmosphere for her students.

Mica has been with the Goddard School since 2022. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Event Planning. She has worked for Metro Parks Summer Program and Vanderbilt Medical Child & Family Center. Mica loves teaching and making a difference in children's lives.

Ms. Candace has been with the Goddard School since 2022. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree at Liberty University. Starting as a nanny and youth group leader in high school, she discovered her passion for guiding young minds. Ms. Candace fosters a nurturing environment where children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Her commitment to learning and genuine care make her an integral part of our Goddard School family.

Ms. Amy has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She brings a wealth of experience to the classroom with five years of dedicated work with children. Her passion for nurturing young minds began as a mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister Program. Currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education, she believes in fostering a love for learning while encouraging curiosity and imagination in every child.

Ms. Cynthia has been with our Goddard Schools since 2023. With over five years of invaluable experience at a different Goddard School, she is a versatile educator well-versed in working with children across all age groups. Her tenure at the previous school has honed her skills in understanding and nurturing the developmental needs of children, ensuring a holistic approach to their learning journey. Ms. Jenna has been with The Goddard School since 2021. She is a passionate educator with a diverse educational background. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from California State University, along with an Associate's Degree in Psychology. Ms. Jenna's commitment to early childhood development is evident in her engaging activities that not only educate but also nurture social and emotional growth. Ms. Beatriz has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She has her teaching degree from Edetania University in Spain. With over 17 years of teaching experience in Spain, Ms. Beatriz has honed her skills in nurturing young minds. Her background as a Spanish teacher at Hermitage Christian Academy further enriches her ability to connect with students through language and culture. Ms. Kaila has been with The Goddard School family since 2023. With roots at Vol State Community College, she embarked on her journey in early childhood education. Ms. Kaila's dedication to nurturing young minds shines through her warm and engaging approach. Her tenure at The Goddard School is a testament to her commitment to fostering a love for learning in every child she encounters.

Ms. Brooke has been an integral member of The Goddard School of Hendersonville team since 2022, where she demonstrates a genuine passion for nurturing and instructing our youngest learners, facilitating their development of crucial social skills, and instilling a sense of group dynamics. Brooke brings to her role an academic foundation, holding an Associates Degree in Mathematics and Science from Vol State.

Ms. Haley has been with The Goddard School of Hendersonville since 2023. With her passion for early childhood education, Ms. Haley brings warmth and dedication to her classroom every day. She creates a nurturing environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore and learn.

Ms. Melissa has been with The Goddard School since 2023. With an impressive 25 years of experience in nurturing infants, Ms. Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our classroom. Her journey in childcare has been marked by a deep commitment to the well-being and development of the youngest members of our community.

Amber has been with The Goddard Schools since 2023. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University - Northridge. Growing up, Amber's mom owned a day care in their home and Amber gained valuable experience there throughout her high school and college years. Amber also nannied for an infant and has experience teaching preschoolers.

Ms. Amy has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Belmont University. Her career in childcare spans five years, exclusively focused on the nurturing and development of infants. Amy brings invaluable expertise in infant development to our infant team. Her nurturing approach includes singing and interactive engagement with infants, fostering a sense of security and affection to ensure that they feel loved and cared for in their early developmental stages.

Mrs. Gaye has completed coursework in Early Childhood Education through Volunteer State Community College, completed 30 hours of orientation through TECTA, the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance, and participated in many CCR&R workshops. She began her career in Early Childhood Education in 1979 and has a wealth of knowledge to share with her students and coworkers. She has been a part of our team at The Goddard School since 2014.
