Our Teachers

Mrs. Kara Brumley is the on-site owner of The Goddard School Gallatin and at the school every day to ensure the highest quality academic and safe learning environment for your children. She has a BS and MS in Early Childhood Education plus over 25 years of experience in Education Administration. Her husband, Dave, is the onsite owner of the Hendersonville Goddard School, but is at Gallatin often to support the team and Goddard families. We are proud parents of three active children, so you will see us around the community often at the ball fields and schools. As Goddard Alumni parents ourselves, we know how important the early years are to children’s lifelong success and we are dedicated to providing the best preschool in Gallatin. Ms. DeAnna has been with The Goddard School of Gallatin since 2020. With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a decade as an Assistant Director, she brings boundless expertise and a nurturing touch to our school. A graduate of Western Kentucky University in Social Work, Ms. DeAnna is dedicated to fostering young minds. Outside of school, she calls Gallatin home, sharing her life with her husband and beloved daughter. Her passion for creating a supportive educational programs makes her an invaluable part of our team.

Ms. Julie has been with The Goddard Schools since 2011 and with us here in Gallatin since August 2023. She as her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She has worked in classrooms of all levels, cultivating a profound understanding of young learners' needs. With over 25 years of early childhood experience, she seamlessly transitioned to the administrative team, contributing more than 5 years of insightful leadership. Mrs. Julie has been married for 35 years and has three children.

Ms. Kat has been with The Goddard School since 2016. She has her Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and is working towards her Bachelor's in Business Management. She has also gained experience in sales and marketing working for Walt Disney World, Nintendo, and Dell Technologies. She started with us as a Toddler Teacher and eventually joined the Infant team at our Gallatin location when they opened in 2019. Ms. Kat is now our Events and Experience Manager for both The Gallatin and Hendersonville Goddard Schools. She is a proud Goddard parent of two Goddard graduates and her youngest who is still in our program! Ms. Kat loves to spend her time reading and enjoying any outdoor activities.

Ms. Lea has been with The Goddard School in Gallatin since 2020. She is a dedicated and passionate teacher who has earned her TECTA Certificate. Along with helping out in the classrooms, she also helps support our management team and keeps our office running smoothly. Ms. Lea is a mother of two children, Rayla and Bryant. In her free time, she spends most of her time on her farm helping care for their animals and maintaining farm equipment.

Ms. Rachel has been with The Goddard School in Gallatin since 2020. She graduated from The University of Valley Forge with her degree in Musical Education. She has over 6 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Rachel is now the head of our enrichment program. Rachel has a passion for using music, art, Spanish, and S.T.E.M to make learning fun! Through developing creative, S.T.E.M.-based plans, Rachel addresses academic, social, motor, and emotional needs to accompany what children are already learning in the classroom.

Ms. Mackenzie has been with the Goddard School since May of 2023. She has her TECTA certificate and over 2 years of experience working with children of various ages. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, concerts, traveling, reading and being outdoors.

Ms. Shaynah has been with the Goddard School since July 2023. She has her BS degree and experience working with infants through twos. She has a deep understanding of the crucial milestones that infants reach during their early months. Her ability to create a soothing and stimulating environment helps babies feel secure and ready to explore the world around them. Ms, Shaynah is also a proud Goddard parent.

Ms. Kayla has been with the Goddard School since January of 2022. Ms. Kayla has a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Kayla has worked with young children as a nanny, VBS, and is experienced in infant and toddler care. She enjoys working at The Goddard School in Gallatin because it is so rewarding to see children reach milestones and learn new skills.

Ms. Destiny has been with the Goddard School of Gallatin since March of 2024. She earned her Infant/Toddler TECTA certification from TSU and is actively working towards obtaining her CDA credential. She has experience in caring for infants through two year olds. Outside of work, Ms. Destiny enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and animals.

Ms. Alisha has been with The Goddard School since June 2023. She has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. She served 8 years in the United States Army. Her passion is to create a safe, loving environment for children to learn and grow. In her spare time, Mrs. Alisha enjoys spending time with her family going camping and swimming and she loves to paint.

Ms. Rose Copass has been with the Goddard School of Gallatin since March 2024. She has several years of working with infants to school age children. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys walks with her puppy and quality time with her fiancé.

Ms. Kelly has been with the Goddard School since October of 2021. She is a graduate of Vol State Community College where she studied Early Childhood Education. Ms. Kelly has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages and is a proud mother of two teenage daughters. She is dedicated to providing the top childcare in Gallatin, TN.

Ms. Baylee has been with the Goddard School of Gallatin since February 2024. She has experience working with children of all ages. She also works as a part-time lifeguard and is CPR certified and first aid trained.

Ms. Johany has been with the Goddard School since May of 2024. She is currently taking classes and has over 3 years of experience working with young children. Ms. Johany's philosophy is to provide children with a safe environment to learn and grow.

Ms. Alyssa has been a valued member of The Goddard School of Gallatin team since May of 2024. Her passion for working with children is evident in her prior experience in the Children's Ministry at her church, where she worked with children if various ages. Ms. Alyssa considers it a privilege to have a positive impact on the lives of young children. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, sewing, reading and antiquing.

Ms. Chantay has been with the Goddard School of Gallatin since March of 2024. She has her TECTA certification in infants and toddlers and is currently working on her CDA. She has over 7 years of experience working with young children. Ms. Chantay loves having fun with children while helping their little minds grow. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading. Ms. Chantay is also a proud Goddard Parent of two boys.

Ms. Ashley has been with The Goddard School since January 2022. She is currently enrolled in TECTA classes through TSU. She has experience working with toddlers and two-year-olds. Ashley has a passion for working with children. She enjoys watching children learn new skills and teaching them based on their individual needs.

Ms. Taylor has been a valued member of the Goddard School of Gallatin since July of 2024. She has two years of college education and has accumulated over two years of experience working with children of different age groups through her involvement in after-school and summer camp programs with the YMCA Fun Company. When Ms. Tayor is not at work she keeps busy by chasing her two little ones around.

Ms. Lindsay has been with The Goddard School in Gallatin since 2019. She attended The University of Louisville and has over 20 years of experience working in Early Childhood Education. She decided to become a teacher because she loves watching children grow and gain confidence as they learn independence and self-help skills.

Ms. Letha has been with the Goddard School since November of 2021. She has over 20 years of experience working with toddlers through preschoolers. She has a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a joyful learning environment. Ms. Letha also holds her Cosmetology license and is a proud mom of three and a grandmother of two.

Ms. Dymond has been with The Goddard School of Gallatin since August of 2024. With several years of experience working with all ages, she takes great pleasure in assisting children in acquiring new skills and achieving significant milestones. She has a BA degree in criminal justice and psychology. As a proud Goddard parent, Ms. Dymond understands firsthand the importance of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Ms. Kelly has been a part of the Goddard School of Gallatin since June of 2024. With several years of experience in church and home-based programs, she has worked with children of all ages. Her most recent role involved working with three-year-olds. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting and hiking.

Ms. Kristin has been with the Goddard School since December 2022. She is currently enrolled at Vol State for Elementary Education. She previously attended school at St. John's University in NY for Psychology. Ms. Kristin has several years of experience working with children of various ages. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Alysha has been with the Goddard School since October 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from TSU. Mrs. Alysha has been working with children since the age of 17. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, bowling, and shopping.

Ms. Beth has been with The Goddard School in Gallatin since 2019. She graduated from Bethel University with her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has over 24 years experience working in Early Childhood Education.

Ms. Alie has been with the Goddard School of Gallatin since October of 2023. She has her BA degree in English Literature with a minor in Spanish from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has over 3 years of experience working with children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cooking.

Ms. Theresa has been a part of The Goddard School since 2022. She recently moved from our Hendersonville location where she taught Pre-K and JK. She embarked on her teaching career over 40 years ago and previsiously served as the Education Director of a church program in Indiana. Ms. Theresa has accumulated experience in various early childhood programs, focusing on Pre-K and JK age children. She holds a CDA and has completed several years of college. In her free time, she enjoys photography and cherishes moments with her two dogs.

Ms. Megan has been with the Goddard School since June 2023. She studied Early Childhood Education at Vol State and has 7 years of experience working with toddlers through preschool/pre-k. She loves watching the children learn, grow and master new milestones.

Ms. Sabrina has been with The Goddard School in Gallatin since 2020 as our Kitchen Manager. Ms. Sabrina has over 20 years experience in the Food Service Industry and is happy to be on campus preparing yummy, nutritious snacks for our little learners! Ms. Sabrina will be greeting all our students in the morning at our check- in table!

Ms. Bethany has been with the Goddard School of Gallatin since April of 2023. She has 2 years of college from Vol State Community College. Ms. Bethany has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. When Ms. Bethany isn't working she enjoys gardening, working puzzles and spending time with her family.

Ms. Denise has been at The Goddard School of Gallatin since October of 2023. She has several years of experience working with children of all ages in her church nursery and volunteering with kindergarteners in a private Chrisitan school. She is a proud mother of two daughters. In her spare time Ms. Denise enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and photography.

Ms. Gracie has been with The Goddard School since December 2021. She received her TECTA certification and has been working with children for over 8 years ranging in age from infants through Pre-K. Ms. Gracie loves to have fun and laugh with the children. She feels all children are special and we can learn from them as much as they can learn from us. In her spare time, she loves to draw, paint and crafting.

Ms. Sayeda has been a part of The Goddard School since September 2024. With several years of educational experience, she has work extensively with toddlers and preschool -age children. Ms. Sayeda takes pride in being a Goddard parent to her daughter and is passionate about making learning an enjoyable experience for children . During her free time, she finds pleasure in walking, shopping and playing tennis.
