    My name is Colin Maier, Son of Franchisees Carol and Jay Maier, and I am the On-Site owner of the Marshallton Goddard School. I am passionate about providing a setting that enhances children’s natural desire to learn, with a curriculum that challenges, stimulates and supports all aspects of their developmental growth. My passion for helping others develop, and learning from my parents’ experience, is why I chose to become a part of The Goddard School. Our school serves families in the West Chester, Downingtown, East Fallowfield and Romansville areas and we would love the opportunity to have your family become a part of our Goddard Marshallton/West Chester family!

    I have been with The Goddard School in Marshallton since February, 2017. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts from West Chester University, I continued my education at Immaculata University in the Educational Leadership program. Through this program, I received my teacher certifications in Elementary and Special Education as well as a master's degree in Educational Leadership. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field since 2009. During these years, I have taught Kindergarten, preschool, special education, and art education. I strive to create a safe, loving, and creative environment for all the students here at The Goddard School. I look forward to being a part of your child’s exciting learning adventures and experiences as they grow!

    I have been with The Goddard School since 2006. I love the families here at The Goddard School and have made lots of lifelong friends with students, teachers, and families. I have my degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. In my free time I love to cook and clean and I look forward to doing lots of travel. I find teaching very rewarding and the children have taught me to be flexible. My hope for your child this year is that they will learn, laugh and grow.

    I started at The Goddard School in Marshallton in February of 2022. I have been working with children since 2018. From my teaching experiences, I have learned that each child has their own unique personality and a carefree attitude that makes them eager to learn new things! I love to do art activities with children because they can learn and show their personality through creativity. My future professional goal is to have a positive impact on children's lives and be able to create art. My favorite book to read to my students is, "The Rainbow Fish". In my free time, I like to paint, go on hikes, and spend time with my three dogs! A favorite quote of mine is, "In a world where you can be anything, be kind."

    I joined the Goddard School Marshallton as an infant teacher in September of 2023. I have been working with infants since 2009. From these experiences, I have learned that young children need a lot of nurturing and patience from their teachers in order for them to thrive. Teaching and caring for children is a passion of mine because it gives me so much joy and fulfillment knowing that at the end of the day I have been a part of their growth and development. I love to read to my students. My favorite book to share with young children is, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” by Eric Carle. In my free time I love to cook, do puzzles, and read.

    I have been with Goddard since February 2023. I have been working with children for over 20 years! Making my students feel safe and loved is my top priority. I enjoy reading books and singing songs with my students. I believe that positive and constant communication with both the student and parent is key when working with young children. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family.

    I have been with Goddard since September of 2021. My experiences working with children have taught me that learning each child's personality is very important. Each child is an individual with unique needs. I love to be super active and silly with children to keep them engaged in activities. I also enjoy reading with my students. My favorite book to read to them is, "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" by, Laura Numeroff. During my free time, I enjoy reading, playing softball, and spending time with my friends.

    I have a Child Development Associate Credential and have been with The Goddard School since 2004. I love the nurturing caring environment and curriculum we have here at The Goddard School. I have two loving children Aidan and Mia. They bring me so much joy and help me appreciate the wonders of childhood. In the future I hope to continue my education to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. My hope for every child in my classroom is that they feel loved. I look forward to watching them grow and seeing their smiling faces.

    I have been with Goddard since August of 2022. I have been working with children for 5 years. I am currently attending West Chester University for early childhood education and ASL. From my teaching experiences, I have learned that I am extremely passionate about early childhood education. I love being such a formative part of my student's lives and being able to support them with love and care everyday. I really enjoy doing sensory activities with my students because it is wonderful to watch their reactions when exposed to new experiences! I also love to read the book, "Guess How Much I Love You" by, Sam McBratney. A fun fact about me is that I have an adorable hamster named Matcha!

    I started with Goddard in March of 2024. I am passionate about teaching because I want to make a difference in the lives of children through positive influence and modeling. I love to create activities that incorporate learning such as creative color sorting games. I also love to read with my students. My favorite books to read with them are, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Rainbow Fish", and "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie". In my free time I like to listen to music and read. A favorite quote of mine is, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" -Eleanor Roosevelt.

    I have been with Goddard since the summer of 2022. During my last year of high school, I had the opportunity to instruct a child development class. This experience led me to the discovery of my love for early childhood education. My teaching experiences have taught me to always come to work with a smile on my face and a positive attitude! I like to read the "How Do Dinosaurs" book series to children because they teach social emotional and self help skills to my students in a fun and entertaining way. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters who I love to spend my free time with! I also enjoy going on hiking adventures, gardening, and cooking.

From my teaching experiences, I have learned that classroom management skills are key to being successful when working in the education field. Growing up, I had wonderful teachers that left a positive impact on me. This is what has given me my passion for early childhood education. My future professional goals are to advance my education, incorporate new technology into my classroom, and be a mentor for other teachers.

From my teaching experiences I have learned that every child learns in their own unique way and at their own individual pace. I love to do creative art activities and get messy with my students!     I joined the Goddard School in Marshallton in 2011. Our school is a great place to learn, play and build the right foundation for elementary school. In 2020, I obtained my bachelor's degree in early childhood education from West Chester University. I am certified by Pennsylvania's Department of Education to teach preschool-4th grade. I have a big Italian family that I consider the most amazing people in the world! Teaching has taught me patience, selflessness, and that each child develops at an individual pace. I hope that your children grow into confident, proud and eager “little learners.”

I also have my bachelor's degree in criminal Justice. I believe that it is important to work with every child individually to get to know their personalities in order to help and assist them when needed. I am passionate about teaching because I love being able to inspire children and help them gain the knowledge that they will use for a lifetime. I love to read with my students. Before Goddard, I gained my teaching experience from Chesterbrook Academy. I am currently pursuing a degree in education and social work. My goal for your child in my classroom is for them to have fun and be engaged in our learning activities!

    I started at the Goddard School in Marshallton in September of 2021. I have my degree in English Literature from the University of Scranton, and I worked for 10 years in the library field. I have worked with children for over 6 years. My favorite books to read with my students are “The Very Lonely Firefly” and “The Day the Crayons Quit.” I love watching children grow in confidence as they develop their abilities and discover the world around them. A favorite quote of mine is “Not all those who wander are lost” from J.R.R. Tolkien.

    I have been with Goddard since January of 2022. I have a bachelor's degree in writing composition and 5 years experience working with children. My favorite educational activity to do with children is read. I love to read the book, "Wendel The Narwhal" to my students. In my free time I like to read, write/journal, and spend time with loved ones. A fun fact about me is that I grew up in the Philippines!
