    My name is Danny Smith, and I am privileged to serve as the on-site owner of the Chester Springs Goddard School. As the brother of franchisees Megan and Michael Thompson of the Goddard School of Spring House, I am deeply committed to creating an enriching environment that nurtures children's innate curiosity and love for learning. I am dedicated to providing a stimulating curriculum that supports holistic development. Drawing inspiration from my family's valuable insights, I am driven by a genuine passion for fostering growth in others. Our school proudly caters to families in the Chester Springs, Downingtown, and Glenmoore areas, and we warmly welcome the opportunity to extend our Goddard Chester Springs family to include yours!

    Center Director
    Michelle began working in the Goddard Franchise in 2016 while she earned her graduate degree. As Center Director, Michelle handles daily operations and ensures our center upholds Goddard's Education Standards and Health and Safety policies. She has nearly ten years of childcare experience coupled with several years of childcare management experience. Michelle has her undergraduate degree from Albright College in English and her graduate degree from Gwynedd Mercy University in Elementary Education. Michelle enjoys children of all ages, and they never fail to make her laugh. Her favorite children’s book is “Leo the Late Bloomer” by Robert Kraus.

    Lead Teacher
    Miss Eboni teaches in our Infants classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree and is currently working towards her master's degree. She has 13 years experience in early childhood education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going out to eat, taking walks, and crocheting. A fun fact about Miss Eboni is that she has a pet rabbit! Her favorite children's book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?"

    Miss Lauren teaches in our Twos classroom. She has a bachelor's degree and has an early childhood accreditation. Miss Lauren also has nearly 10 years of Goddard experience. When she's not in the classroom, she enjoys sewing, photography, and spending time with her family. A fun fact about Miss Lauren is that she's a metal smith! Her favorite children's book is "Pete and Pickles" by Berkeley Breathed.

    Miss Luana teaches in our Preschool 1 classroom and has nearly 10 years experience in childcare. She holds a bachelors degree and is working towards her CDA. Miss Luana speaks Portuguese and learned English because of the Jonas Brothers. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys coloring, working out, shopping, and playing with her children. Her favorite children's book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.

    Mr. Matt teaches in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom. He has five years of experience in the educational field. He worked as a long-term substitute teacher in an elementary school for three years. Mr. Matt holds an associate degree in elementary education and is currently working towards his bachelor's degree. In the classroom, he enjoys art projects, writing, and reading. When Mr. Matt isn’t in the classroom he enjoys photography, cooking, and watching hockey. He is currently working on writing his very own book series. His favorite children’s book is “Stephanie’s Ponytail” by Robert Munsch.

    Infant Teacher
    Miss Amanda teaches in our Infant classroom. She has several years experience in childcare and has taken college-level courses in education. Miss Amanda was a stay-at-home mom for several years and missed being around young children. She loves the infant age and watching the students grow into toddlers. When Miss Amanda isn't in the classroom, she enjoys gardening and playing with her two sons. Her favorite children's book is "Biscuit" by Alyssa Satin Capucilli.

    Miss Lakshmi teaches in our Infant room and has nearly five years of childcare experience. She loves children of all ages but prefers the infants because she loves watching them grow. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her own children. Miss Lakshmi’s favorite children’s book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle.

    Miss Sushma teaches in our Toddler classroom. She has nearly five years of childcare experience where she discovered her love for the toddler age. Miss Sushma loves the toddler classroom because she enjoys watching her students grow. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite children's book is "Good Night Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Rashmi is our assistant in the Preschool 2 and has been in childcare for several years. She was a summer camp counselor in New York where she taught the Hindi language and Indian culture. Miss Rashmi loves crafting, going on road trips, and listening to music. She loves spending time with her children and family. Her favorite children’s book is “Pinkalicious” by Victoria Kann.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Cassie teaches in our Pre-K classroom. She discovered her passion for teaching when she taught swimming lessons. She has several years of childcare experience and is currently in school. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, and hiking. She also loves snuggling her one-eared cat, Mushu. Miss Cassie's favorite children's book is "Guess How Much I Love You" by Sam McBratney.

    Miss Carly teaches in every classroom and has experience with every age group. She is currently in school for Early Childhood Education and has six years of childcare experience. Miss Carly enjoys baking, spending time with her friends and family, drawing, and shopping. She also has 12 pets! Her favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff.

    Miss Kayla teaches in our Preschool 1 classroom. She has been in childcare for several years and has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ursinus College. Miss Kayla has a big heart for animals and loves her pets; she has three cats, one dog, and a tiny lizard. She also enjoys reading. Her favorite children’s book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

    Miss Priyanka has nearly five years experience and ran an in-home daycare center. Miss Priyanka enjoys children of all ages because they each have their own unique differences that make them special. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family. Miss Priyanka's favorite book is "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak.
