Our Goddard School Teachers

I am incredibly excited to serve as the on-site owner of the Goddard School in Chester Springs. Having called the Chester Springs area home for the past fifteen years, and Chester County for over two decades, it's a true privilege to now serve our wonderful neighbors in the community my family and I cherish. My wife, Nicole, and I are deeply committed to The Goddard School's mission: to nurture curiosity, support emotional and social development, and encourage a lifelong love of learning within a safe and supportive environment. We truly believe that every child is a unique and precious gift, and our goal is to provide them with an environment where they can absolutely thrive. As we consistently strive for excellence, we warmly welcome your feedback and any concerns you may have. We look forward to partnering with you in your child's educational journey.

Carissa began working at The Goddard School of Chester Springs in March 2025 but is not new to the Goddard Franchise as that is where she started her Early Childhood Education career. She has nearly 20 years of Early Childhood Education experience with 10 years of Childcare management experience. Carissa has a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State and also holds her Montessori Primary teacher certification and PA Private Academic Teaching License. Carissa’s mission is to foster confidence and creativity in the children she works with. In her spare time she loves reading, taking Spin and Reformer Pilates classes and watching Formula 1 with her son. Her favorite children’s book is “The Rabbit Listened” by Cori Doerrfeld.

Miss Luana previously taught in our Preschool 1 classroom and has nearly 10 years experience in childcare. Miss Luana speaks Portuguese and learned English because of the Jonas Brothers. When she isn't in the office, she enjoys coloring, working out, shopping, and playing with her children. Her favorite children's book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.

Ms. Christine has over ten years of experience in education. She enjoys being active outside and carries that love of the outdoors in her lessons. When she's not in the classroom or in the office, she's spending time with her family and pets. Her favorite children's book is "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein.

Miss Amanda teaches in our Infant classroom. She has several years experience in childcare and has taken college-level courses in education. Miss Amanda was a stay-at-home mom for several years and missed being around young children. She loves the infant age and watching the students grow into toddlers. When Miss Amanda isn't in the classroom, she enjoys gardening and playing with her two sons. Her favorite children's book is "Biscuit" by Alyssa Satin Capucilli.

Outside of work, Raquel enjoys spending time outdoors hiking local trails and exploring nature. She also likes visiting antique markets and trying new local restaurants. Raquel is an avid animal lover and is especially fond of her 16-year-old tuxedo cat, who holds a very special place in her heart.

Ms. Kylea has been working with children professionally for four years. She began her teaching journey in Colorado with children ages 5 and up and later became an assistant teacher in Pennsylvania, supporting infants through school-age students. She enjoys reading, drawing, painting, and doing makeup in her free time. A former cheerleader for 11 years, Kylea brings energy and creativity into the classroom. Her favorite children’s book is The Rainbow Fish.

Ms. Nikki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a post-baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education. With 7–8 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, she brings energy, warmth, and a playful spirit to the classroom. In her free time, Nikki enjoys reading, dancing, spending time with her children, and trying new restaurants. She is a big kid at heart! Her favorite children’s book is Llama Llama Red Pajama.

Miss Priyanka has nearly five years experience and ran an in-home daycare center. Miss Priyanka enjoys children of all ages because they each have their own unique differences that make them special. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family. Miss Priyanka's favorite book is "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak.

Ms. Lillie has been working with children for over six years and brings warmth, patience, and creativity to the classroom each day. She is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to grow. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Lillie enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts and comedy shows, and trying new restaurants. Her favorite children’s book is Ms. Nelson Is Missing!, a story she loves sharing for its humor and valuable lessons.

Ms. Olivia has been working with children for over two years and truly enjoys helping them learn, grow, and express themselves. As an Art major, she loves bringing creativity into everything, whether that’s through hands-on crafts, imaginative projects, or encouraging students to explore their artistic ideas. Outside of work, Ms. Olivia is a big animal lover and has four dogs who keep her busy and entertained. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, trying new creative projects, and finding inspiration for activities she can share with her students. Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Ms. Kira loves traveling and spending time outdoors with her family. She also has a big heart for helping others, offering free hair and eyebrow services to those in need and providing toiletries to support families in her community. Her passion for teaching comes from the joy of making a difference in her students’ lives. She strives to make learning fun and engaging so that children are excited to wake up each day ready to learn. Her favorite children’s book is Rainbow fish!

Miss Kayla teaches in our Bridge classroom. She has been in childcare for several years and has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ursinus College. Miss Kayla has a big heart for animals and loves her pets; she has three cats, one dog, and a tiny lizard. She also enjoys reading. Her favorite children’s book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

Miss Helen is our Preschool 2 teacher and has over five years of childcare experience. She also holds a bachelors degree in early childhood education and special education. When Miss Helen is not in the classroom, she enjoys painting and doing crafts. Her favorite book is "Mooncake" by Frank Asch.

Miss Rashmi is our assistant in the Preschool 2 and has been in childcare for several years. She was a summer camp counselor in New York where she taught the Hindi language and Indian culture. Miss Rashmi loves crafting, going on road trips, and listening to music. She loves spending time with her children and family. Her favorite children’s book is “Pinkalicious” by Victoria Kann.

Ms. Cassie has an Associates in General Studies and credits in Early Childhood Education. She discovered her passion for teaching when she taught swimming lessons. When she isn’t in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies and hiking. She also loves snuggling her one-eared cat Mushu. Miss Cassie’s favorite children’s book is “Guess How Much I Love You” by Sam McBratney.

Miss Anita teaches in our Pre-K classroom and has several years in education. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her family. She loves food and traveling. Miss Anita's favorite children's book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.

With over three years of experience working with children, Ms. Pam brings patience, warmth, and enthusiasm to the classroom each day. Before joining us, she worked as a server, where she developed strong communication and multitasking skills that support her work with students and families. She speaks Spanish, grew up with three siblings, and loves sharing her favorite children’s book, The Giving Tree, with her class.

Searlait is a dedicated resource teacher with four years of experience working with children. She brings creativity and care into her role, supporting students with patience and enthusiasm. Outside the classroom, Searlait enjoys painting and drawing, often expressing her artistic side in her free time. She is also a proud cat owner to Wallie and Winnie. Her favorite children’s book, Goodnight Moon, reflects her love for comforting stories and nurturing learning environments.
