    Assistant Director
    Ms. Jenn serves as the Assistant Director at our facility. She earned her Child Development Associate credential from Neumann University and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at Delaware County Community College. Since joining the Goddard family in 2013, Ms. Jenn has accumulated 14 years of experience as a preschool teacher and 7 years as an Assistant Director. She is passionate about working with adults and children with special needs, a commitment inspired by her sister, who has Down syndrome. One of Ms. Jenn's favorite pastimes is reading to the children. Her preferred children's book is "Guess How Much I Love You?" She cherishes the opportunity to witness the growth of the children and strives to make every moment a valuable learning experience. Outside of her professional life, Ms. Jenn is married and the proud mother of two children. In her spare time, she enjoys supporting her kids at their sporting events.

    I am excited to be the new on-site owner at The Goddard School, Chadds Ford! I have been part of the Goddard Family for the last 20 years as my wife owns and operates The Goddard School in Exton. Our two children are Goddard Graduates and are now in high school. Together we will work to create an environment that is welcoming, warm, safe and nurturing!

    Kindergarten Teacher / Assistant Director
    Ms. Diana holds a dual role within our school, serving as the lead teacher in our kindergarten program and an Assistant Director. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education from West Chester University and is certified to teach grades pre-K through fourth grade. Ms. Diana has been with Goddard for ten years, and we are thrilled to have her as a part of the family. We look forward to witnessing her achieve more of her professional goals in the years to come. Her favorite children’s book is “Dragons Love Tacos.” She is married with two children and really enjoys spending time with them, watching them learn and grow.

    Lead Teacher
    Mr. Ryan is our Lead Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. He received his Bachelor's degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education for Pre-K to Fourth grade and is certified to teach Kindergarten through fourth grade. Before coming to Goddard, he previously worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in a local Preschool and was also a tutor for the Hunting Learning Center. He has also worked with students of various ages at Linwood and Stone Hurst Elementary schools. He believes that creating individual connections with each child allows him to help assess their strengths and weaknesses along the way. This, in turn, helps him become a better teacher because he can use that information to help them excel to their fullest potential. We are proud to have had Mr. Ryan on the Goddard team for 7+ years and appreciate his ability to incorporate fun into his daily lessons. Mr. Ryan met his wife at the Goddard School, and their son is a student here.

    Ms. Megan is a Lead Teacher who graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. She has been a part of the Goddard Family for 13 years and has worked in various classrooms. Prior to joining Goddard, she worked for Easter Seals. Ms. Megan’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. She is a mother of 2 children and enjoys going on nature walks and to the Renaissance Faire with her family. Additionally, she loves doing craft projects, sewing, and theater.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Carrie is a Lead Teacher who is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Early Grades Preparation with a minor in Special Education from West Chester University. Before joining Goddard, she worked as an assistant teacher in PreK at KinderCare, provided nanny services for numerous local families, and served as a camp counselor at Concord Township camp. In her leisure time, Ms. Carrie volunteers with the Epilepsy Foundation, and she also enjoys activities such as hiking, skiing, and traveling. She loves spending time at the beach with her family and friends. Ms. Carrie’s favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”.

    Ms. Nicole earned her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Delaware County Community College and her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Neumann University. She has been part of the Goddard Family for 12 years and has worked in a variety of classrooms during this time. Prior to joining Goddard, she gained several years of experience as a babysitter.

    Ms. Samantha is the assistant teacher for our Precious Pandas infant room. She graduated from high school. Before coming to Goddard, she had worked in childcare since she was 18 years old. Ms. Samantha’s favorite children’s book is "I’ll Love You Forever". She has two children, and they love to take walks on trails with their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with family!

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Theresa was originally the center-wide float support throughout the school and she graduated from Garnet Valley High School. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of babysitting experience. She also worked at Oasis Family Fun Center and was a part of the preschool lab in high school, working with 3-5 year olds. She recently completed her CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate) and is now the lead in our First Steps classroom. Ms. Theresa’s favorite children’s book is “Are You My Mother”. She has four siblings, two dogs, and a niece. She enjoys listening to music, gaming, photography, and spending time with family. Her favorite place to visit is New Hampshire and one day she would like to travel to Iceland.

    Ms. Kierstyn is an Assistant Teacher. She graduated from Sun Valley High School and has an Associate's Degree from Delaware County Community College. She is currently studying Early Grades Preparation with a minor in Special Education at West Chester University. Before joining Goddard, she gained experience working as a babysitter and also worked as a server at Maris Grove. Ms. Kierstyn’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.” She has two dogs and enjoys spending time with her family. She likes taking care of plants and volunteers at Rags 2 Riches Animal Rescue. One of her favorite aspects of her job is forming special bonds and connections with every child at Goddard. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys taking the time to meet the individual needs of each child.

    Ms. Jackie received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Neumann University. She is the lead teacher of our Pre-school II program. Before joining Goddard, she worked as a before/after care teacher & pre-school aide at Haverford school district. She enjoys watching the children grow and develop, as well as helping them learn new things. Ms. Jackie’s favorite children's book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. She loves the beach, family time with her two children, and exercising.

    Ms. Sadie is an Assistant Teacher who graduated from Downingtown West High School. She earned an Associate's degree from Delaware County Community College and is now pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at West Chester University. Before joining Goddard, she gained experience in a childcare setting during high school. As part of her technical program, she worked alongside teachers at a local preschool and also in a local elementary school setting. Ms. Sadie's favorite children's book is "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss. She has been playing softball for 14 years and volleyball for 5 years. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog on hiking trails and spending time with her little brother.

    Ms. Melissa is an Assistant Teacher and received her B.A. in Communication and Design from Kutztown University. She also has an Associate's Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from Harcum College. Before coming to Goddard, she had previously worked as a nanny and over that time developed a strong passion for working with children of all ages. Her compassion and patience are a great asset. Ms. Melissa has been with the Goddard School for the past 5 (+) years and loves sharing her creativity with the children. She loves to provide the children with opportunities to discover their own creative abilities. Melissa is a mother of three and her favorite children's author is Dr. Seuss.

    Ms. Jill is an assistant teacher who holds a Dental Assistant Certification. Before joining Goddard, she worked as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. Ms. Jill became part of the Goddard School team in 2016 and has 14 years of experience working with preschool children. Her dedication has brought great value to our school, and she enjoys witnessing the children's excitement as they learn new skills through experiences and play. One of Ms. Jill's favorite children's books is "Buzzy The Bee". She loves reading to the children and nurturing their love for literacy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family.

    Christine graduated from Delaware County Community College with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Learning. Before joining Goddard, she worked as the Director of the Nursery School at Personalized Daycare By Christine, Inc in Wynnewood and Les Petite Cherubs in Philadelphia. Christine genuinely knows how to have fun with all the children in the program. Her upbeat personality is infectious and one can see the enjoyment she gets from watching the children learn and grow each day.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sarika is an Assistant Teacher and has a bachelor's degree in Engineering. Before coming to Goddard, she worked at KinderCare as an assistant preschool teacher. Ms. Sarika’s favorite children’s book is "The Red Riding Hood". She has two children, and her husband works at a software company. She is passionate about learning new things and enjoys singing, cooking, and watching movies.

    Miss. Isysis is an assistant teacher currently studying Early Childhood and Psychology at Cheyney University. She went to high school at Stem at Showalter. Before working at Goddard, Miss. Isysis worked at Lil’ Darlings Childcare for a summer internship in 2017.Miss. Isysis has plans to continue her schooling until she can achieve her doctorate or Psy D. Her goal is to become a child therapist. Miss. Isysis helped her younger sister get her first job here at the Goddard School! Something she holds special to her is that her and her sisters all attended the same university!

    Assistant Teacher
    Mr. Tony is an assistant teacher who studied Communication Arts and Journalism at Delaware County Community College. He has also received many continuing education credits in Early Childhood Education. Before coming to Goddard, he gained over ten years of experience working with Pre-Kindergarten and school-age children in various programs, including sports camps, summer programs, and before/after care at the YMCA. His favorite children’s book is “Oh, The Places You'll Go!” He is a lifelong hockey player and enjoys watching the Flyers. Additionally, he likes traveling to Maine to visit his family.

    Ms. Julia is an assistant teacher who graduated from Berks Catholic High School. She is currently studying Early Education and Special Education at West Chester University. Before joining Goddard, she gained several years of experience working as a counselor at Muhlenberg Summer Day Camp. Ms. Julia’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.” She enjoys going to Bethany Beach, listening to country music, working out, and watching Philadelphia sports games.

    Miss Alex attended the Cab Calloway School of the Arts. Before Goddard, she worked at another childcare center for a year and was also a nanny for three years. She has been working with children since 2012, when she began teaching theater. Miss Alex's favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie!" Her favorite color is green. In her free time, she enjoys watching football with her dog, Pallas Athena, and relaxing by watching sitcoms with her family.

    Ms. Rachel is an assistant teacher and is currently a nursing student at Delaware County Community College. Before joining Goddard, she had several years of babysitting experience. Her favorite children's book is "The Mitten". Ms. Rachel enjoys vacationing at the beach and mountains, and her favorite subject is math!

    Miss Baileigh received her CDA for preschool-aged children. Before joining Goddard, she worked at a center in Fort Washington for two years. She started as an assistant teacher and then became a lead teacher. Miss Baileigh's favorite children's book is "The Color Monster." She was born in Oregon and lived there for most of her life. She has a dog named Chip and a cat named Tiana, whom she named after Princess Tiana from "The Princess and the Frog"!

    Mrs. Sandy graduated from Delaware County Community College. Before coming to Goddard, she was an assistant teacher at another center. Her favorite children’s book is "The Little Engine That Could." Mrs. Sandy has a dog named Molly and two cats named Spooky and Mia. She enjoys camping, doing crafts, and watching NASCAR. Mrs. Sandy also loves spending time with her grandson.

    Miss. Ke’Asia is an assistant teacher and before Goddard, she worked as a teacher’s assistant for a psychology professor. Miss. Ke’Asia studied at the first HBCU, Cheyney University, majoring in psychology. Miss. Ke’Asia enjoys having colorful hair. Her favorite shape and design is a butterfly. Her favorite color is grey. Miss. Ke’Asia’s prized routine is greeting the children and their families in the morning. Miss. Ke’Asia’s favorite children’s books are One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, and Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss!

    Miss Riley is currently studying at West Chester University with a major in Early Childhood Education. She graduated from Sun Valley High School. Before joining Goddard, she worked as a nanny for a family of three children and babysat for many years. She also worked at Lima Estates Retirement Home. Miss Riley’s favorite children’s book is "Little Pea" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. She lives with her little brother Mason, her mom, dad, and dog, Buddy. Miss Riley enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.

    Ms. Jordan is an Assistant Teacher who obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware. Before joining Goddard, she gained experience working as a nanny and also served as an Instructional Assistant at Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center. Her passion for working with toddlers became evident and the children eagerly anticipate her presence every day. Two years ago, she received an opportunity to teach Middle School Science at the Christiana School District. Despite this, she chose to continue working with us part-time due to the strong connections she had formed with the children and her colleagues at Goddard School. Ms. Jordan's favorite children’s book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. She has a twin brother and two sisters. Her family vacations, especially at the beach, are amongst her most cherished moments.

    Ms. Meenu is an Assistant Teacher and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education and Economics in India. Before coming to Goddard, she worked as an Elementary Teacher in different public schools in India. She also worked at Little Ones Daycare in New York. Ms. Meenu’s favorite children’s book is anything by Dr. Seuss. She has two teenage children, and her husband is an IT-Professional. She is passionate about learning new things every day and loves seeing students exploring their curiosity.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sydney volunteered at a Science Center in Ithaca before moving to Pennsylvania. She is currently working as a gymnastics coach at Garnet Valley Gymnastics Center for children ages 3 to 13 years old, and she is interested in pursuing a career in counseling in the near future. Ms. Sydney's parents are in the Air Force, and she has enjoyed traveling to different places throughout the US. Her favorite children's book is "Corduroy".
