    Stephanie

    On-Site Owner
    Ms. Stephanie is our on-site owner and received a B.A. in Communications and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini College. Her previous career path brought her to Goddard Systems, Inc. where she spent four years working as an advertising account executive. This gave her a firsthand look at not only the quality of care and support that goes into each school but a sense of pride in the resource programs and tools available. All of that coupled with the company’s comprehensive quality assurance program made her a strong believer in all that she could bring to the families within the Chadds Ford and neighboring communities. Ms. Stephanie’s favorite children’s book is "Can I Be Your Dog?”. She has a daughter named Giovanna, enjoys spending time with family, and going to the beach in the Summer. She looks forward to welcoming all your children into our warm, nurturing, environment that encourages creative fun learning.

    Director of Operations
    Ms. Moira is our Director of Operations. She graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a BS in Elementary Education and from Teachers College, Columbia. Before coming to Goddard, she had 40+ years in the classroom, admin and private practice as a teacher in Ridgewood, NJ and Chadds Ford, PA. Ms. Moira’s favorite children’s book is "Rainbow Fish". She lives with her husband, dog, and cat and is passionate about baseball, especially the Phillies. She enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and creating new memories. In her spare time, she paints and reads.

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Jenn is our Assistant Director. She received her Child Development Associate credential from Neumann University. She is currently enrolled at Delaware County Community College to further her education. Ms. Jenn joined the Goddard family in 2013. She has 14 years of experience as a preschool teacher as well as 6 years of experience as an Assistant Director. She is also passionate about working with adults and children with special needs. Having a sister with Down Syndrome has been one of the greatest gifts. She enjoys going into the classrooms to read to the children. Her favorite children’s book is "Guess How Much I Love You?”. She enjoys watching them grow and uses every opportunity as a teachable moment. Ms. Jenn is married with two children. In her spare time she can be found supporting her children at their sporting events. You’ll find her cheering for the Phillies and Eagles all season long as well as celebrating New Years Eve on Broad Street with the Mummers.

    Kindergarten Teacher / Assistant Director
    Ms. Diana holds a dual role within our school as the lead teacher in our kindergarten program and an Assistant Director. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education from West Chester University and is certified to teach grades pre-k through fourth grade. Ms. Diana has been with Goddard for ten years and we are so happy to have her as a part of the family! We look forward to watching her achieve more of her professional goals in the years to come. Her favorite children’s book is “Dragons Love Tacos.” She is married with two children. She really enjoys spending time with her children and watching them learn and grow.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Jackie is received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Neumann University. she is the lead teacher of our Pre-school II program. Before coming to Goddard, she worked as a before/after care teacher & pre-school aide at Haverford school district. She enjoys watching the children grow and develop as well as helping them learn new things. Ms. Jackie’s favorite children's book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. She loves the beach, family time with her two children and exercising.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Carrie is a Lead Teacher and is working towards a bachelor's degree in Early Grades Preparation with a minor in Special Education from West Chester University. Before coming to Goddard, she worked as an assistant teacher in PreK at KinderCare, nannied for many local families, and was a camp counselor at Concord Township camp. In her free time, Ms. Carrie volunteers with the Epilepsy Foundation along with hiking, skiing and traveling. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and friends. Ms. Carrie’s favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”.

    Ms. Nicole received her Associates degree from Delaware County Community College in Early Childhood Education and her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Neumann University. She has been a part of the Goddard Family for 12 years and has helped us in a variety of classrooms along the way. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of experience working as a babysitter. Ms. Nicole's favorite children's book is “The Little White Owl”. Her husband is also a teacher here and their son attends Goddard as well. She enjoys reading, drawing, and art. Ms. Nicole loves the color teal and is obsessed with chocolate. She is a huge Disney fan, especially the villains.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Kierstyn is an Assistant Teacher. She graduated from Sun Valley High School and has an Associate's Degree from Delaware County Community College. She is currently studying Early Grades Preparation with a minor in Special Education from West Chester University. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of experience working as a babysitter as well as working as a server at Maris Grove. Ms. Kierstyn’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom”. She has two dogs and enjoys spending time with her family. She likes taking care of plants and volunteering at Rags 2 Riches Animal Rescue. one of her favorite parts of her job is making special bonds and connections with every child here at Goddard. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys taking the time to meet their individual needs.

    LEAD TEACHER
    Ms. Megan is a Lead Teacher and graduated from West Chester University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. She has been a part of the Goddard Family for 13 years and has helped us in a variety of classrooms along the way. Before coming to Goddard, she worked for Easter Seals. Ms. Megan’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. She is a mother of 2 children. She and her family enjoy going on nature walks and to the Renaissance Faire. She loves doing craft projects, sewing, and theater.

    Assistant Teacher
    Christine graduated from Delaware County Community College with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Learning. Before coming to Goddard, she worked for Personalized Daycare By Christine, Inc in Wynnewood and Les Petite Cherubs in Philadelphia as the Director of the Nursery School. Ms. Christine has truly knows how to have fun with all of the children in the program her upbeat personality is somewhat infectious, and you can just see the enjoyment she gets out of watching the children learn and grow each day.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Meenu is an Assistant Teacher and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education and Economics in India. Before coming to Goddard, she worked as an Elementary Teacher in different public schools in India. She also worked at Little Ones Daycare in New York. Ms. Meenu’s favorite children’s book is anything by Dr. Seuss. She has two teenage children, and her husband is an IT-Professional. She is passionate about learning new things every day and loves seeing students exploring their curiosity.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Jill is an Assistant Teacher and received a Dental Assistant Certification. Before coming to Goddard, she had a career as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. Ms. Jill joined the Goddard School team in 2016 and her 14 years of preschool experience have brought tremendous value to our school. She loves working with the children and seeing them light up as they discover new skills through experiences and play. Ms. Jill favorite children’s book is “Buzzy The Bee”. She always enjoys reading to the children and fostering their love of literacy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking and spending time with her family.

    Lead Teacher
    Mr. Ryan is our Lead Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. He received his Bachelor's degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education Pre-K to Fourth grade and is certified to teach Kindergarten through fourth grade. Before coming to Goddard, he previously worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in a local Preschool and was also a tutor for Hunting Learning Center. He has also worked with students of various ages at Linwood and Stone Hurst Elementary schools. He believes that creating individual connections with each child allows him to help assess their strengths and weaknesses along the way. This helps him be a better teacher because he can use that information to help them excel to their fullest potential. We are so proud to have had Mr. Ryan on the Goddard team for 7 (+) years and appreciate his ability to incorporate fun into his daily lessons. Mr. Ryan met his wife here at the Goddard School and their son is a student here.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sadie is an Assistant Teacher and graduated from Downingtown West High School. She graduated with an Associates degree from Delaware County Community College. She is now working towards her bachelors degree studying Early Childhood Education at West Chester University. Before coming to Goddard, she had the opportunity to gain experience within a childcare setting while in high school. She was part of their technical program and was assigned to not only work alongside teachers at a local preschool but also within the local elementary school setting as well. Ms. Sadie’s favorite children’s book is “The Cat in the Hat” by Dr. Seuss. She has been playing softball for 14 years and volleyball for 5 years. She also enjoys taking her dog on hiking trails and spending time with her little brother.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Melissa is an Assistant Teacher and received her B.A. in Communication and Design from Kutztown University. She also has an Associate's Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from Harcum College. Before coming to Goddard, she had previously worked as a nanny and over that time developed a strong passion for working with children of all ages. Her compassion and patience are a great asset. Ms. Melissa has been with the Goddard School for the past 5 (+) years and loves sharing her creativity with the children. She loves to provide the children with opportunities to discover their own creative abilities. Melissa is a mother of three and her favorite children's author is Dr. Seuss.

    Assistant Teacher
    Mr. Tony is an Assistant Teacher and studied Communication Arts and Journalism at Delaware County Community College. In addition he has received many continuing education credits in Early Childhood Education. Before coming to Goddard, he had over ten years of experience working with Pre-Kindergarten and school age children in a variety of programs from sports camps, summer programs and before/after care at the YMCA. Mr. Tony's favorite children’s book is “Oh The Places You'll GO!” He is a lifelong hockey player and loves to spend time watching the Flyers. He also enjoys traveling to Maine to visit with his family.

    Assistant Teacher - Part time
    Ms. Jordan is an Assistant Teacher and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of experience working as a nanny and she also worked at Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center as an Instructional Assistant. She instantly fell in love with the toddlers and the children look forward to seeing her at work each day. We were so proud when she was offered an opportunity to teach Middle School Science at the Christiana School District 2 years ago. Fortunately for us the bonds she built with the Goddard School children & peers would keep her with us on a part time basis throughout the school year. Ms. Jordan favorite children’s book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. She has a twin brother and two sisters. She loves going on vacations with her family and especially loves the beach.

    Ms. Julia is an Assistant Teacher and graduated from Berks Catholic High School. She is currently studying Early Education and Special Education at West Chester University. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of experience working as a counselor at Muhlenberg Summer Day Camp. Ms. Julia’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. She loves going to Bethany Beach, listening to country music, working out, and watching Philly sports games.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Eve is an Assistant Teacher and she is currently studying Medical Billing at Delaware County Community College. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of experience working as a babysitter and she also worked at Ducklings Early Learning Center. Ms. Eve’s favorite children’s book is “A Bad Case Of The Stripes”. She enjoys drawing and painting; sometimes she sells her own paintings at Art Shows. She also loves animals and has a few reptiles, but cats are her favorite!

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sam is an Assistant Teacher and has an Associate's Degree in General Studies and Computer Programming. She is continuing to work towards getting her Bachelors Degree. Before coming to Goddard, she had 3 year's experience working with infants in another childcare center as well as several years of babysitting and nannying experience. Ms. Sam’s favorite children’s book is “Brown Bear Brown Bear”. She loves spending her free time with family and friends and hanging out with her nieces and nephews. She enjoys sports, shopping and her puppies. She also loves going on walks, hikes, and being outside, especially the beach!

    Ms. Samantha is the Assistant teacher for our Precious Pandas Infant room. She graduated from high school. Before coming to Goddard, she had worked in childcare since she was 18 years old. Ms. Samantha’s favorite children’s book is "I’ll Love You Forever". She has two children, and they love to take walks on trails with their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with family!

    Ms. Savanna is an Assistant Teacher and graduated from Ridley High School. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education at West Chester University. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of experience working as a babysitter and camp counselor. She was also an assistant teacher at a local daycare. Ms. Savanna’s favorite children’s book is “The Day The Crayons Quit”. She enjoys going to the beach, walking, and spending time with family and friends.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sarika is an Assistant Teacher and has a bachelor's degree in Engineering. Before coming to Goddard, she worked at KinderCare as an assistant preschool teacher. Ms. Sarika’s favorite children’s book is "The Red Riding Hood". She has two children, and her husband works at a software company. She is passionate about learning new things and enjoys singing, cooking, and watching movies.

    Ms. Rachel is an Assistant Teacher and is currently a nursing student at Delaware County Community College. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of babysitting experience. Ms. Rachel’s favorite children’s book is “The Mitten”. She enjoys vacationing at the beach and mountains. Her favorite subject is math!

    Center Wide Float Support
    Ms. Theresa is our center wide float support throughout the school and graduated from Garnet Valley high school. Before coming to Goddard, she had several years of babysitting experience. She also worked at Oasis Family Fun Center and was a part of preschool lab in high school with 3-5 year olds. Ms. Theresa’s favorite children’s book is “Are You My Mother”. She has 4 siblings, two dogs and a niece. She enjoys listening to music, gaming, photography, and spending time with family. Her favorite place to visit is New Hampshire and one day she would like to travel to Iceland.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sandy graduated from Delaware County Community College with an Associates Competency degree in Early Childhood Development. Before coming to Goddard, she worked as an Assistant teacher in another learning center. Prior to that, she spent 17 years in a nearby public school as an instructional aide. Ms. Sandy's favorite children’s book is “The Little Engine That Could”. She is married, has one daughter, 3 stepchildren, and a grandson. She has a chocolate lab named Molly and two cats named Mia and Spooky. She enjoys going camping, doing crafts, watching Nascar races on TV, and Traveling to different places. She also likes spending time with her grandson and seeing him learn and grow.

    Aide
    Ms. Sydney volunteered at a Science Center in Ithica prior to moving to Pa. She is currently working as gymnastics coach at Garnet Valley gymnastics Center for children ages 3 to 13yrs of age & is interested in going to school for counseling in the near future. Ms. Sydney's parents are in the Air Force & she has had her share of fun traveling different places throughout the US. Favorite Children's Book - "Corduroy"
