    I am excited to be the new on-site owner at The Goddard School, Chadds Ford! I have been part of the Goddard Family for the last 20 years as my wife owns and operates The Goddard School in Exton. Our two children are Goddard Graduates and are now in high school. Together we will work to create an environment that is welcoming, warm, safe and nurturing!

    Director of Education
    Mrs. Savannah holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Elmira College and a master's degree in early childhood education from Grand Canyon University. She worked at The Goddard School in Exton for six years, where she held various positions, including floater, assistant teacher, lead teacher, and office assistant. Her favorite classroom activities focus on science and creative arts, as she loves watching children learn and grow through exploration and discovery. Outside of school, Mrs. Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats. She loves camping and exploring the outdoors whenever possible. Additionally, she has a passion for scrapbooking, paper crafting, and organizing. Mrs. Savannah is excited to collaborate with you to create a high-quality educational experience for your child while ensuring that they are happy and healthy.

    Director of Operations
    Mrs. Jenn is the Director of Operations at our facility. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from Neumann University and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at Delaware County Community College. Since joining the Goddard family in 2013, Mrs. Jenn has gained 14 years of experience as a preschool teacher, including 7 years serving as Assistant Director. She is deeply committed to supporting both adults and children with special needs, a passion inspired by her sister, who has Down syndrome. Mrs. Jenn cherishes the opportunity to observe children's development and is dedicated to making every moment a meaningful learning experience. Outside of work, Mrs. Jenn is married and a proud mother of two children. In her free time, she actively supports her children at their sporting events and is a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Penn State.

    Kindergarten Teacher & Assistant Director
    Mrs. Diana holds a dual role within our school, serving as the lead teacher in our kindergarten program and an Assistant Director. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education from West Chester University and is certified to teach grades pre-K through fourth grade. Mrs. Diana has been with Goddard for ten years, and we are thrilled to have her as a part of the family. We look forward to witnessing her achieve more of her professional goals in the years to come. Her favorite children’s book is “Dragons Love Tacos.” She is married with two children and really enjoys spending time with them, watching them learn and grow.

    Pre -School 1 LEAD TEACHER & Office Assistant
    Ms. Megan is a Lead Teacher who graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. She has been a part of the Goddard Family for 13 years and has worked in various classrooms. Prior to joining Goddard, she worked for Easter Seals. Ms. Megan’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. She is a mother of 2 children and enjoys going on nature walks and to the Renaissance Faire with her family. Additionally, she loves doing craft projects, sewing, and theater.

    Pre Kindergarten Lead Teacher
    Mr. Ryan is our Lead Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. He received his Bachelor's degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education for Pre-K to Fourth grade and is certified to teach Kindergarten through fourth grade. Before coming to Goddard, he previously worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in a local Preschool and was also a tutor for the Hunting Learning Center. He has also worked with students of various ages at Linwood and Stone Hurst Elementary schools. He believes that creating individual connections with each child allows him to help assess their strengths and weaknesses along the way. This, in turn, helps him become a better teacher because he can use that information to help them excel to their fullest potential. We are proud to have had Mr. Ryan on the Goddard team for 7+ years and appreciate his ability to incorporate fun into his daily lessons. Mr. Ryan met his wife at the Goddard School, and their son is a student here.

    Get Set Lead Teacher
    Ms. Carrie is a Lead Teacher who is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Early Grades Preparation with a minor in Special Education from West Chester University. Before joining Goddard, she worked as an assistant teacher in PreK at KinderCare, provided nanny services for numerous local families, and served as a camp counselor at Concord Township camp. In her leisure time, Ms. Carrie volunteers with the Epilepsy Foundation, and she also enjoys activities such as hiking, skiing, and traveling. She loves spending time at the beach with her family and friends. Ms. Carrie’s favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”.

    Assistant Teacher
    Mrs. Jill is an assistant teacher who holds a Dental Assistant Certification. Before joining Goddard, she worked as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. Ms. Jill became part of the Goddard School team in 2016 and has 14 years of experience working with preschool children. Her dedication has brought great value to our school, and she enjoys witnessing the children's excitement as they learn new skills through experiences and play. One of Ms. Jill's favorite children's books is "Buzzy The Bee". She loves reading to the children and nurturing their love for literacy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family.

    Infant Lead Teacher
    Mrs. Samantha is the Lead teacher in our Precious Pandas infant classroom. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification in 2018 and is certified in CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep practices. With over 12 years of experience in childcare, she began her career as a summer camp instructor and has spent the last seven years concentrating on infants and toddlers. Mrs. Sam finds great fulfillment in teaching, especially when she sees children achieving their developmental milestones. She is dedicated to supporting their learning and development, which positively impacts their futures. At The Goddard School, Mrs. Sam values building meaningful relationships with children and their families, enhancing her professional childcare experience. Her favorite children's book is "I'll Love You Forever." Outside work, she enjoys walking on trails with her two children and their two dogs.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Riley is currently studying at West Chester University with a major in Early Childhood Education. She graduated from Sun Valley High School. Before joining Goddard, she worked as a nanny for a family of three children and babysat for many years. She also worked at Lima Estates Retirement Home. Miss Riley’s favorite children’s book is "Little Pea" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. She lives with her little brother Mason, her mom, dad, and dog, Buddy. Miss Riley enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.

    Young Toddler Lead Teacher
    Ms. Nicole earned her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Delaware County Community College and her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Neumann University. She has been part of the Goddard Family for 12 years and has worked in a variety of classrooms during this time. Prior to joining Goddard, she gained several years of experience as a babysitter.

    Pre - School 2 Lead Teacher
    Miss Baileigh received her CDA for preschool-aged children. Before joining Goddard, she worked at a center in Fort Washington for two years. She started as an assistant teacher and then became a lead teacher. Miss Baileigh's favorite children's book is "The Color Monster." She was born in Oregon and lived there for most of her life. She has a dog named Chip and a cat named Tiana, whom she named after Princess Tiana from "The Princess and the Frog"!

    Miss. Rachel is an assistant teacher and is currently a nursing student at Delaware County Community College. Before joining Goddard, she had several years of babysitting experience. Her favorite children's book is "The Mitten". Ms. Rachel enjoys vacationing at the beach and mountains, and her favorite subject is math!

    Miss Sadie is a Teacher who graduated from Downingtown West High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from West Chester University. Before joining Goddard, she gained experience in childcare settings during high school. As part of her technical program, she worked alongside teachers at a local preschool and also in a local elementary school. Miss Sadie's favorite children's book is "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss. She has been playing softball for 14 years and volleyball for 5 years. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog on hiking trails and spending time with her younger brother.

    Get Set Assistant Teacher
    Miss. Alex attended the Cab Calloway School of the Arts. Before Goddard, she worked at another childcare center for a year and was also a nanny for three years. She has been working with children since 2012, when she began teaching theater. Miss Alex's favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie!" Her favorite color is green. In her free time, she enjoys watching football with her dog, Pallas Athena, and relaxing by watching sitcoms with her family.

    First Steps Lead Teacher
    Miss Brianna is currently pursuing her CDA credentials, to achieve them by May 2025. After that, she plans to take additional early childhood education classes. With nearly nine years of experience working with children, she has actively participated in developing lesson plans, supporting emotional and social growth, and collaborating closely with parents to meet each child's needs. Her passion for teaching motivates her, and the highlight of her day is witnessing her students' growth. At Goddard, she enjoys interacting with the children, cherishing their hugs and smiles, and maintaining effective communication with parents. A fun fact about her is that she loves traveling and exploring new places and has a passion for cars, including attending car shows and driving stylish vehicles.

    Older Toddler Lead Teacher
    Miss Jackie received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Neumann University and also obtained her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. She is currently the lead teacher of our Two's program. Before joining Goddard, she worked as a before-and-after care teacher and preschool aide in the Haverford School District. She enjoys watching the children grow and develop, as well as helping them learn new things. Miss Jackie’s favorite children's book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” She loves spending time at the beach, enjoying family time with her two children, and exercising.

    Pre- School 2 Lead Teacher
    Mr. Tony is a teacher who studied Communication Arts and Journalism at Delaware County Community College. He has also earned many continuing education credits in Early Childhood Education and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Before joining Goddard, he gained over ten years of experience working with Pre-Kindergarten and Preschool children in various programs, including sports camps, summer programs, and before and after care at the YMCA. His favorite children's book is "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" He is a lifelong hockey player and enjoys watching the Philadelphia Flyers. Additionally, he loves traveling to Maine to visit his family.

    First Steps Assistant Teacher
    Mrs. Christine graduated from Delaware County Community College with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Learning. Before joining Goddard, she worked as the Director of the Nursery School at Personalized Daycare By Christine, Inc in Wynnewood and Les Petite Cherubs in Philadelphia. Christine genuinely knows how to have fun with all the children in the program. Her upbeat personality is infectious and one can see the enjoyment she gets from watching the children learn and grow each day.

    Pre - School 1 Assistant Teacher
    Mrs. Sandy received her CDA in 2025. Before joining Goddard, she worked as an assistant teacher at another center. Her favorite children's book is "The Little Engine That Could." Mrs. Sandy has a dog named Molly and two cats named Spooky and Mia. She enjoys camping, doing crafts, and watching NASCAR. Additionally, Mrs. Sandy loves spending time with her grandson.

    Aide
    Miss Cadeyn has been dedicated to working with children throughout high school. She has served as a lead preschool teacher at Garnet Valley Gymnastics and has provided babysitting and nanny services for kids ranging from infants to teenagers. Her passion for working with children stems from a desire to witness their growth and build trust with them. She loves entering the classroom to share smiles and engage in conversations.At Goddard, she values the genuine care that staff members show toward each other and the students, fostering a positive and supportive environment. Miss Cadeyn has aspired to work with children from an early age and aims to become a pediatric nurse, inspired by her desire to help kids like her sister, who has a heart condition. She plans to enroll in the nursing program at Neumann University this fall.
